AYOOOO I WASN'T AWARE THIS WAS ADDED ALREADY I asked for this a few months ago but owner said it was too expensive so I'm really happy to see this now. Tbh, I only wanted to play this to see those bonus epilogue stuff from the first game bc they left it hanging so abruptly. So thank you, thank you very very much! I'd love to play these mystery/detective VN's but most of them are romance. Any recommendations for those that aren't or romance is secondary aspect in them?
I'd like to add some more recommendation after reading the comments (but i have to say i love the danganronpha games and the prologue anime) -Nonary games triology (point and click, getting out closed rooms and psyhological story) -Ai: The Somnium files (quite new game sometimes facepalm jokes but i like it better than the jokes in the Ace attorney series) -Raging Loop (maybe, but its not really detective more like horror mystery)
Scarlet Hollow, it have a little bit of romance but you don't have to romance anybody and just enjoy storyline. It's still in demo version but I really recommend it, it's full of mysteries and horror. but if you are looking for some detective/mystery stories, point and click adventures games are your best bet rather than visual novels. Also Hidden Objects games, in most of them you are playing as a detective.
well, for some typical detective p&c game, I can recommend something that I played recently: Chronicle of Innsmouth: Mountains of Madness. And about HIdden Object games... there are a few series that are my favorite: Vermilliion Watch, Dark Tales Edgar Allan Poes, Mystery Trackers, Dark City, Mystery Case Files and of course Nancy Drew series.
