Dunno if I'm okay with the potential and eventual slew of games coming from this. Never was a fan of the repetitive usage of default assets and done-to-death general engine mechanics. Just reminds me of the ramblings of Bennett Foddy as he patronize you for your weak climbing skills. Nonetheless, it'll be interesting to see some gems.
From the few games I played, many of them are actually unique in their gameplay and art style even if they are in the same pixel style. It might be due to not finding the shitty ones because they are still rare.
Downloaded it, installed it, cracked it, does not work, the window goes white and you cant see anything. The window whites out, but you can still click on the menus (which you cant see anyway, cause everything is white). Short answer, does not work.
Darksiders is really something unique group / family of grpups/sections they do like x264 HDTV... japanese with eng subs mind you, as "DARKFLiX" But yeah theyre some "fresh air" to scene way i see it... also notice how they even saw effort to use different.nfo file just for this cause its not an game!
supporst win 8 too... scene rules dont require else then 8.1 and win10,,,, the new rules... remember they dont d these for us, scene dont, none of the groups, we infact should not even get these release in the first place... so ur pint is kinda "null" one....
nn sencical TO US not in THEIR WORLD... scene is a weird own erntity, its a decision made by all the leaders of all the MAIN game groups, they vote, and hence came the NEW 2021 pciso RULEset.... its also linked to that tthose groups like compete, and competition needs rules... made it bit more clear eh? ...again, they dont CATER for us...nly towards inside scene...
You sure you didn't read this somewhere else ? (i didn't check the rules) THere is a bunch of RPG Maker here , from 2015 and 2020 and there is even software like Aseprite from 2018 So it doesn't seems to be really the case, unless those are pecular exception
no hes correct they mention this when requesting updates to rpg maker mv they post them if its donated i ended up buying it when it was on sale for $20
Ho I see. Was just wondering because I deffinitely remembered (and then confirmed by search) that I saw RPG maker and other 'maker' software But anyway.
So many similar apps... In your opinion, what is the best? Construct 2? Unity + 2D plugins? Stencyl? 001 Game Creator? Godot? Construct 2 is the only one which can be used by people who can't code, right?
Wall of text ahead...be warned Unity can be used with visual programming, they made the visual scripting "Bolt" ( 60$ back in the day ... very good quality addon ) free since 2020 I think. Other engine with no code required is Unreal 4 , it has inbuilt visual programming. For coding uses C++. Unity using C#... Game dev is hard, who would have known? I do recommend learning to code in either... ( then learning Python for general use in other tasks, it is easy-ish,er, but unrecommended as first language ) of course, if you want to get serious in it. If you just wanna dip your toes, I invite you to unity and unreal 4... they have an OVERWHELMING amount of tutorials from basic to complex. PS: My buddy coded a few games in Construct 2 and while basic, they looked nice...( artwork level) Oh yeah... solo indie gamedev is painful but very rewarding... I strongly recommend outsourcing some details like music or art/models/textures from free-use sites if you plan to make money or any place if it's just for you and friends. Personal story and tips: I am not gifted for music or sound effects and I can't draw that well for graphics so I went with pixel art, many tutorials, recommend as first time in Unity and no sound. (When I started) Be ready to work around 10-40h* for your first... crappy albeit finished game. Also I invite you to http://Itch.io , a platform for indie games... people post devlogs ( very important ) there and games... most free... some for a coffee.. some polished ones there and then later on steam. Very nice community. Why devlogs are important? You get a small following if you can write them nice enough and hype some people to wait for your game. You get your thoughts in order and have something to motivate you to continue working... plus it makes you feel like you make progress ( while coding I felt like I wasn't progressing but thinking "What did i do today?" in my devlog really lifted my mood and motivation ) Last Words... Feel free to ask anything... even PM me and i'll give you my discord... I am not a good indie dev but helping never hurt anyone. (SniperEly on http://Itch.io if you wanna reach out that way, https://sniperely.itch.io/ ) PSS: I finished one game ( that i am kinda proud of because of the journey) and prototyped endlessly what today lays abandoned there on Itch... aka RatRoads, my child... I'll get back on it one day.
Unity also has prgrammin language called "UnityJava" wich is java without all the bs... I hate normal java but unity one makes more sense... as for me even im not prgrammer per se... C# language looks way more, hmm, logical? or how to put it...
The main thing is your crappy advertising pages, the dirt is running
Not RPG Maker but it's same function for game engine ...
(game maker)
