to all the people what dont wanna download the whole damn game again just to get one dlc, use Anadius. This genius made a small updater that checks your game directory for what you have, repairs lost files and downloads the latest dlc. just google Anadius free updater, should be the first link.
i am having this same problem, i am not sure where to put the mods folder to get it to recognize it. theres groups of different folders called ep, gp, and sp, and also a support, soundtrack, game, data, delta, and installer_ folder. not sure where it's supposed to go
Tutorial on how to install this without the CODEX!
Step 1: Download all of the parts Step 2: Extract Part 1 with 7zip (or other extraction software) to the area that you want the game to be installed in. Step 3: Once everything is extracted and there are no errors (if there are errors, try disabling antivirus before extracting), go to the folder that you extracted everything into, and go to \The.Sims.4.v1.86.166\The Sims 4\Game\Bin and in there, there should be a .exe called TS4_x64.exe. Step 4: double click the .exe and select Play online and follow the instructions shown. There is also a video tutorial button that leads you to a YT video.
After you finish that step, you should be set to go, just use the same .exe to launch the game. For any errors that pop up, see if there is a solution for it in the comments.

For me the only thing that worked was downloading the language-changer and putting it in the game folder, because all the other files in the mediafire folder were giving an error when being extracted. Even so I thank you, it helped to solve the problem, both the startup and the game without the text!

For those who have blanks instead of text : it's because there is no language pack yet, just US english. Here is the solution that worked for me, to be able to play in english : open your regedit, go to Local Machine → Software → Maxis, set language to "en_US". Your game shoud work with english text now. To transfer your saves & mods, rename the folder in Documents\Electronic Arts to "The Sims 4". And voilà ! ;)
I downloaded the torrent, installed the game and moved the folders from "RUNE" into the game's dir and I still get an error message saying I have damaged or missing game data and to delete any mods or repair EA to fix it. My Windows defender isn't even on so I'm not sure why I keep getting error messages that I have missing or damaged data. Any help?

Just delete the directory. Your saves and mods should be in \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4. If you dont want to delete the game directory, you can always just download the newer version and open it.

Ok i have the solution. You install the game and make a copie of your Bin and Bin_LE files. You then install the update and then replace the new Bin files with the copie of your old version. Then you can start the game and have the new version. It worked for me ^^ hope I could help you guys
there used to be a group called games 4 the world that repacked this in 3 parts, so you had to download the base game, then all DLCs and finally a ~6gb pack with the latest updates. you only had to get the update pack every time a new big update happened, along with any new ~1gb dlc folders you didn't have yet. It was even compatible with the original game... I dunno if they're still active, I just know they haven't updated anything since january 2021, version 1.70. Shame, that was THE place to go.

Did you encounter any problems around mods not being able to be enabled after the most recent update (1.82)? I've checked the box & restarted the game only to be told that mods are not enabled despite enabling & saving changes to the Game Options before exiting. I'm playing this created hololive en characters used the prebuilt rooms to make my home Gura & Ame in the living room for hours then says Gura embarrassed cuz she peed herself send her to bathroom i move to other people in game hours later says same thing about Ame and both their clothes dirty as fuk and they smelly neither one travels to the bathroom when ordered i make a shower i realise they are stuck in living room i just put a shower in living room quickly to clean them but wont because someone's nearby (lmao) I finally realize they are stuck cuz the door to the living room was being blocked I fixed it and they left the room no problem this my 1st time playing sims lol
If you have promblem with initialization you have to go to the regedit then to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Maxis\The Sims 4 and change data for locale to en_US and it should work
Is it possible to get the game installed without the RUNE like the previous versions ? And if so could you please upload it here? This is more complicated and it seems that the most have problems with that. It was much easier the way it was before.
If you mean where it says "RUNE" along the top, so like the "welcome back, RUNE!" messages, previously it used to say Codex, so no, unfortunatel not possible.
If you mean moving the files from RUNE into the game dictionary, that also isn't possble to avoid that.
To game work you need to change the name in regedit regedit/hkey_localmachine/software/Maxis/sims4 local to en_US for me that work. Also if you have mods from previous version try to remove it before instalation. this worked for me
Hey there, I've got a problem similar to someone down in the comments. I've successfully installed the game into my device (I've uninstalled the one I did in January because I suspect some mods are broken because they are updated to the Horse update) but I can't open the game because it needs Origin (which was a whole nightmare because it forced me to install EA app and that app forced on me THEN REFUSED TO UNINSTALL until I logged out) . Is there a solution to this?
I heard rumours that IGG games only updates when there's a new expansion pack. Not sure if that's true though. This current version should have the infant expansion tho
is it normal for the update installer not to do anything at 'finishing the installation' ?? in this case I say that the installer is not doing anything, seeing it from the task manager, it installed the update super fast and in the end it seems to have crashed .... it's installing an ssd in the case, and the installer seems to have died in this finalization, I know it warns that it may take a few minutes but it seems that I have anxiety ;-; ... and I say that it seems to have died because it's not consuming the processor or disk, it's just open

I'm a little bit confused. I'm guessing that when you open the cracked version of the game you get asked if you want to connect to the gallery (which asks for a fake origin account), but since doing so you can't connect? Is that right?

I don't think this update will work with the CODEX release, and per my research. CODEX doesn't have a version of the update out yet. So I'll just wait.

And if it don't work, try to delete the sims 4 folder in "Document/Electronic art" and retry

Go to Tapermonkey, I can't remember the exact process to follow but I would just google tapermonkey sims 4 gallery. It allows you to download from the gallery. It's a browser extension.
You have to crack the game. I am not that good at it and i havent done it in a while, but you have to get the files from the "disc" it created and move them in the folder where you installed all the parts/torrent. ( It will ask you to replace them [ YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE FILES] and after that try lounching the game! Good luck! Hope it works and have fun playing!
so I got the game working just for the updater to entirely ruin it. great to have several hours of downloading screwed up like that. maye allow the updater to reverse its process? not difficult to really do
nevermind it seems while the updater couldnt finish and didnt replace anything it messed up, the main issue was that I forgot to force it to add the rune file to begin with edit:and nevermind..so my game is now left in a limbo of mid update. the updater noticed that some files its looking for arnt there..files it already updated..so it declines to update further..meanwhile I so far can still kinda play the game

You have to download all parts and extract them all at once. From there follow the provided guide from the pinned comment for mounting and installing the game.
They won't do that. They uploaded stuff with my online crack only because no scene group was cracking the game after CODEX retired. Now that RUNE picked it up IGG will use their crack, which by scene rules can't connect to official servers. And RUNE doesn't crack all updates, they make a new release only when there's a new DLC (as far as I can tell from their 2 releases). And they skipped the Kits, so it's not even with all DLC releases, just Stuff Packs and up I guess. A new DLC (For Rent) drops on December 7th, so that's when you will see a new version here. Or a couple days later.

Hey, install the Game from official EAapp. Then create a Save Location via New World. After that copy the crack folder to the sims 4 location. Deinstall the official sims 4. Then Start cracked sims4.exe
(EAapp and cracked sims 4 must be on the same disk)
I have same problem at the begging when installation. but it's fine and work now. try to install in your C drive first, after finish installation you may copy it your Sims 4 to your safe drive directory.
Do you have enough free space? Also try placing on a shorter path, and without spaces. One more thing, try turning off AV before installing. I think it will work then
Scroll down just past all the parts download. There's another download where it says "update v1.101 include dlc". That's what you need to download for the actual update and home chef hustle stuff pack. ;)

Hello, I'm unsure if this question/issue is supposed to be commented here but I seem to face a problem with the latest update of the game.
My game would not load the Chestnut Ridge map AT ALL, even after restarting, uninstalling and re-installing the game. I made sure that all files containing the previous installations were completely wiped but this still issue still persists.
May I know if there is anyone else who has the same issue as me and how to fix it?

Are you able to describe your issue a bit more? Do you have all the addons seperately, such as on origin? Do you mean that you installed the game but yet upon launch no expansions register?

Hi there, i have an problem with sims 4 cracked files. Firstly it didnt starts because of wrong lang in registry, now after copying cracked files to gamedir and trying to run it, it just create files in documents like mods, saves, .... and wont run, in task mgr it shows up for 2s and thats all. I have turned off antivirus, also windows defender so all files should be fine. Before copying cracked files game starts properly (opening EA app). If you have any advices i'll be grateful. Thanks

For those of you who don't understand why your game isn't working don't worry! if it's because of the EA client saying you don't own it then it's easy to fix, take a look at the pinned comment, if you don't understand it properly then here's what you've got to do:
After installing the game, go to the game open up the folder where the game is, next do (win+e) to open up another file explorer tab, go back to the iso installer and you'll see a folder at the top, open that and it'll say something like "Game" copy and paste it and replace the existing contents into your sims 4 crack. enjoy!
When I turn on the game, the original game starts without add-ons, I unpacked everything correctly. It told me to download the EA client and then the original game and I still can't turn on crack. Help me please :(
I've been having an issue ; it seems like the game is still linked to Origin, which is not available anymore as an EA pop up blocks users from utilizing it. I've tried bypassing the pop up many times now, to no avail.
Is there still a way to bypass it that I don't know of that has not been patched yet ? Or else, can you change that to link the game to EA ? It says something along the lines of : "Origin in game has been deactivated in the Origin client. To activate it, go into the settings of the client, click on "Origin in game" and select the option "Activate Origin in game"."

When i am in the menu the inteface is all over the place and when i try to play and click on new game the game doesn't start i can hear the click sound on the game but i have the problem with the inteface on the start up menu can anyone help me with that ?
You do not need any additional apps to mount ISO since windows 7. In win 7 it was a bit tricky but win 10/11 do it natively and all you need to do is just double click the ISO unless you fu**ed up you file associations.

i don't really know if origin has conflict with the crack game, but i did install origin only for me to be forced to install ea app. which was a whole nightmare. it was understandable when it didn't acknowledge thee crack sims 4, but it gave me trouble uninstalling it.

there is a glitch where some sims in school doesn't have face and eyes texture and they only have visible teeth texture. it looks pretty creepy and for some reason usually they do t-pose challenge. unfortunately i havent got footage of it
i have a problem, when i unzip the game and i start the launcher, it say that ts4_x64.exe is missing and when i look at the zip file i can see the exe file but it deleted it when i unzipped the game. i tryed without anti virus but it still don t work

It seems that something is wrong with the files. As soon as I try to unzip the files, I get an error message from 7ZIP. When I completely unzipped the game and ran the game, I received an error message saying that the files were corrupted and that I should reinstall the game. I had disabled my antivirus protection while unzipping and running the file.

Yes I did and I already have the sims like the free version, should I out the dlc and kits in the folder of the free version i have or should I uninstall the free version and only keep the hack one ?
Ahhh okay! So, if you've already run the free version of the sims on origin your problem might be that, since both games use the electronic arts folder on your computer, the error you are receiving is because the version on origin is a newer version than the one from IGG games. In order to fix that and get the cracked version running, you'll need to locate your electronic arts folder (it's located In documents, but if you search your computer for it, it will come up) and delete the game version text document.
In terms of whether to delete the cracked version or your free version, that's up to you. The IGG games version doesn't allow the gallery to work, but otherwise they're the same game. What I will say though is that if you choose to use your free version and you want all the dlc without paying, you're going to need to locate the Origin DLC Unlocked by anadius. The game won't register the DLC files if you simply move them from the IGG version over.

You both are looking at the game dictionary, aka where the game is installed and not the electronic arts folder. If you search your computer for the folder "Electronic Arts" You'll find the correct place to install mods

Search up "Electronic Arts" on your computer and go into the folder it brings up. If you're already in there and there's still no mod folder, create one. Almost make sure to download the resource file to put in there so cc works.
Can you download from different websites if the link isnt avaliable or must they all be from the same website. for example the links for part2 anonfiles isnt avaliable so can i download part 2 of megaup.

Yes you download all the parts, because it contains the entire default game and then every pack released prior or with the update listed in the title. The game won't work if you just download part 1
Go into your sims 4 folder in your electronic arts folder, basically the area you put the mods and delete the options.ini file. You'll then have to re-enable it and change back all your settings but it should stick
There's no updates currently available, there could have been when you posted the comment, but from what I've seen you either wait until IGG re-uploads the game with the new updates, which generally is after a pack has released, or there's a link to the update file in the description below the normal downloads, and you use the installer from there to do the update. If there's more than one though, you have to do it in order

I have run (as administrator) the file named The Sims 4 update 1.90.358 - 1.90.375.exe ElAmigos Setup. I have no idea where it should be installed, I first tried to choose the location of my current Sims 4, but it did nothing (or I didn't notice), I also tried to install it the default way (it created a folder named Games on one of my drives, and put there in a "The Sims 4" subfolder)
When RapidCRC runs I see that most of the listed files are Not found, some are corrupt and some are OK.

Note to those updating, be careful when you're doing the updates (run them as administrator just in case) as I've seen it can mess things up a lot if it doesn't run correctly. It'll say it's trying to run an illegal command or something. Most definitely it will hang and take a bit before it's done. Since I'm on hdd, it took a total of 30 minutes for both updates
Also, make sure your antivirus isn't getting pissed off at what you're doing or it may mess something up too.

I'm having a poblem with my MODS files, after i correctly dowloaded the game and all, everything seemed to work fine, my old households from my previous crack were here but once i open the game files to add my MODS and CC, there's nothing, like there's no mods files or anything anywhere for some reason ? does anyone know how i can fix this ?
I've experienced this a few times and normally the cause is the sims 4 folder has somehow made a copy of itself and you've accidentally opened up a different folder than your usual one. If you had CC installed prior to updating and it's still working in game then that's your proof. If you had CC and it all got removed, and now it's not showing up in game, I'd assume that somehow your computer has either made a copy or deleted and remade your electronic arts folder

Hi I'm having a problem where the game didn't create a folder in my documents where the saves and mods should be located. This wasn't an issue before when you had to install the game after extraction but now when I just launch it from the folder it doesn't create these. Careful. Make sure it actually says something related to the Sims when you press download. There are multiple downloads that will appear. There are A LOT of ads. Keep an eye on the GB size as well.
Just download the Anadius Updater, and every time there is a new patch or DLC that comes out you start the updater and only the new stuff will be downloaded. You won't need to download the entire game each time.
Hi, I downloaded the game 3 days ago, I had no problems for creating my sims but I encouter 2 major problems that I can't seems to get rid of. Firstly I can't go on the two last world (wedding and werewolves) when I choose them it's just a white screen and it does nothing so I have to back to the menu. When playing with the sims everytime I need to open a window (ex. opening the phone to travel, choose a dish etc.) it just have the time freezing and the blue hue of when you open a window but nothing happens and I can't choose to go back to menu so I need to close my game... I don't know what to do because I can't play. If anyone knows please let me know, thank you

To answer you for this problem if you are using TOOL mod and better buy mod then you need to update them cuz that means you have an older version that isnt supported with the werewolves. Same with deaderpool.
Thank you very much, it solved my problem but I wasn't aware that I had TOOLS installed in my mods, so that caused the problem and deleting the file did help

I got a very dumb question I was wondering with this game included all DLCs is there any possible ways to make a folder into the crack files to include the DLCs to take them out and putting them back into to separate the DLCs incase we really don't want to play that DLC at that time? So Im having problems with the game, everything works fine other then the sims, they have that white and red question mark over them and I do not have any mods added. How to make this compatible for macOS? i extracted the files to my ASUS laptop, then copied the files to my external hard drive. But when i tried to open the sims 4 game to my friend's macbook, there was an error "You can't open the application "EASetup.exe" because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on macOS. Your original game files should be without harm stored in user\local\origin . This is cracked version and it contains Original +DLC so that means it created its own file. If you want your saves, you can just easily move it from one file to the main one.
Launches without update, but won't move past the loading screen to menu. With the update refuses to launch, says update through Origin. Unsure what I'm doing wrong, since I'm not used to having large games without installers.
With v1.88.213.1030 do not use the Elamigos update V1.87.40 (Current Update file linked above as of 30/5/22 | 5/30/22. It breaks files and won't let the launcher launch the game, as it is made for V1.87.116, and it gives a warning about it when you launch update .exe.
I got the game to finally load past the menu loading screen through restarting the game and hoping in the Crack Gods. Also no DLC apparently, might have to redownload the .rar files and reinstall.
Re-extracting the files worked, DLC is now available. Don't do what I did, don't install the update to a separate folder and copy and paste it. Just don't download the update installer at all, at least for now. Maybe it will get fixed soon, or with the next update.

I know with Elden Ring there were individual files that you could download that a mod posted in the comments but I don't know how you would normally access those or if that's even possible.
Where's the crack? Unlike the previous method, when unzipped, it is not a method to insert an iso image and install, but all game files. If you run Ts4X64.exe in game/bin, you are prompted to update the origin.

Sys reqs are right there, a baked potato plugged to a toaster can run it fully modded and with all dlc. EA sucks balls when it comes to marketing and customer support but they do optimize their stuff fairly well.
After installed V1.83.24.1030. It longer wants to save setting in game setting. It keeps reseting to Window mode and it wont enable Scriptmods either.

Found solution -> if you have iobit malware fighter on your pc it will block whole sims 4 exe folder and the folder in documents. You have to disable "Realtime protection". For the time being. How to disbale real-time protection -> Go into your taskbar (might be under hidden icons) and right click on iobit malware fighter and press "Turn off - Real-time protection -> until IMF restarts"

Update. I re-installed it and it fixed the problem - I was getting an error window with the title "ISDone.dll" every time I tried to install it. This actually means that my computer didn't have enough ram. It's a pretty common problem when you're installing a large video game file, which makes sense because I downloaded the all-in-one file which is 50+ gigabytes. You have to download the whole game first, you can do it by either downloading through the cottage torrent or the links below like the MegaUp.net one, Mega.nz etc. Be sure to download all the 11 parts, then extract one, the part 1 for example, then install the game via "setup" and be sure to click on "copy contents of codex directory to innstalldir" or something like that. Then after the game is installed you can download the updates, by chronogical order, same process, download, extract, copy in the game directory and it should be good ! :)

I made Sims 4 Updater. And with my repack you can update the game from any version to the newest one by installing a ~6.5GB patch (+ some more for DLCs). But they won't post it here. And unfortunately I can't tell you where to find it.

If you mean updating from 1.77.131 to 1.78.58 - download and install the update from this post. If you mean from version earlier than 1.77.131 - you can't with this upload. You have to uninstall the game and download the new one.

Ok, I've been playing sims off this site for over two years, updating it through here every few months, until I was finally able to save up enough extra to actually buy the game, but now that I play it with no DLC's, it feels kind of lacking since I've always played it with all DLCs. it costs around R650-R700 (around 46 USD) per DLC, no way I can afford that. Is there a way that I can get the DLC's for this game through here and add it to my legitimate game copy?
Simple solution is to download from the site, but omit to install the crack for each dlc. And that would work. i did this with the previous TS3, which was a lot better once it was modded. Don't count on EA to fix any bugs with each new titles. They only want to make money by rushing any of their products.

Everything is working fine but every time I check the box to allow mods and restart it says "Game has been updated and mod have been disabled" I've tried taking the mod folder out and reload the game to get the new mod folder and re open the game to allow mods but the same thing happens. when you download all the part above that mean you need to delete previous the sims 4 on your windows, bcz this one is new game with all dlc so its its different
Hi, I just downloaded and played last night. I realised I can't get my sim to go to work. The button won't make them go to work as usual. It's the same for looking for gigs and I can't get them to work from home either. I can't get them to interact with any form of work action. And for some reason, they wouldn't play chess outside.
Each new Sims came with tons of gamebreaking bugs, and Sims 4 as many. EA didn't bother to fix them at all and kept adding new DLC to milk their half ass products so the mod community has to tackle them. I Prefer playing vanilla mode, but this is ridiculous when your dishwasher, washer, dryer, and even sinks stop working as intended. Didn't have faith in EA when they killed off Earth and Beyond, but it's like they literally got rid of QA and QC altogether. Bro, the local disk should be divided into 2 volumes, one for the Windows system, and the others for the system software (other than windows files). So that's not become complicated if you want to uninstall the installation at any time.

Download the language files for your version of the game. Cottage Living release from CODEX is version 1.77.131, so that's what you need to download. That's important, 131, not 146! 1.77.146 is not available on this website.

You have to download all of it (which includes all dlc) in this version of the crack for it to function. It will not work with steam versions (at least previous versions haven't)
I recently installed the previous CODEX installation for the full game up to the snowy escape update. Can I simply install this version over the top of it, or would I need to uninstall the previous one first?
This is a bug that has unknown origin and has been around for a while. This worked for me when I experienced the same thing: Go to your sims folder in My Documents and delete both "options" and "config" files. I suggest you make a backup before deleting them just in case. Then re-start the game, and the audio should be back to normal.

yes the game only need less than 60gb if you already have previous version you just need to download tool from anadius and update the game through that apps so you dont need to download the whole game again
mods for this update or sims in general? if sims in general its easy, just put the mods here C:\Users\YOURUSER\Documents\Electronic Arts\Los Sims 4\Mods (for spanish) or C:\Users\YOURUSER\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods ( for english version) remmember to not put the mods very deep, i mean u can creat a folder there like i dunno mods/cloth mods/hair etc. but not very deep like /mods/hair/blonde/longhair etc.. i think u get the point.
oh, u need to start the game first so that folder can create, that one in documents. Remmember too to activate mods in game going to options ( in the menu of the game before playing ) just look for something that says allow mods or something like that

Well let's talk a bit about download speed. It takes time to try the servers used and the time of day that you are using it. I have a 30Mbits maximum download speed, but, there are always a but, the servers can't cope with thousands of users at one simultaneous time. So choose the server and the time frame that is better for you and good luck. Do what i am doing for years.

- installe la base (fichier torrent CODEX de base) en cochant toutes les cases lors de l'installation
- copie le fichier "Game" du dossier CODEX et colle le dans le fichier d'installation
- installe les updates dans l'ordre (1.78, 1.80, 1.81, 1.82). Si elles sont bien dans l'ordre, tout est vert à la vérification des fichiers (la version initiale est inscrite en bas de la fenêtre d'installation)

That's where I put mine and it works great. Hope this helps.
Step 1: Download all of the parts
Step 2: Extract Part 1 with 7zip (or other extraction software) to the area that you want the game to be installed in.
Step 3: Once everything is extracted and there are no errors (if there are errors, try disabling antivirus before extracting), go to the folder that you extracted everything into, and go to \The.Sims.4.v1.86.166\The Sims 4\Game\Bin and in there, there should be a .exe called TS4_x64.exe.
Step 4: double click the .exe and select Play online and follow the instructions shown. There is also a video tutorial button that leads you to a YT video.
After you finish that step, you should be set to go, just use the same .exe to launch the game. For any errors that pop up, see if there is a solution for it in the comments.

Here is the solution that worked for me, to be able to play in english : open your regedit, go to Local Machine → Software → Maxis, set language to "en_US".
Your game shoud work with english text now. To transfer your saves & mods, rename the folder in Documents\Electronic Arts to "The Sims 4". And voilà ! ;)

If so, you will have to add them as an exception.

Extract the files to the folder where the game installer is located and this should resolve the issue.
try to install in your C drive first, after finish installation you may copy it your Sims 4 to your safe drive directory.

My game would not load the Chestnut Ridge map AT ALL, even after restarting, uninstalling and re-installing the game. I made sure that all files containing the previous installations were completely wiped but this still issue still persists.

After installing the game, go to the game open up the folder where the game is, next do (win+e) to open up another file explorer tab, go back to the iso installer and you'll see a folder at the top, open that and it'll say something like "Game" copy and paste it and replace the existing contents into your sims 4 crack. enjoy!

I've been having an issue ; it seems like the game is still linked to Origin, which is not available anymore as an EA pop up blocks users from utilizing it. I've tried bypassing the pop up many times now, to no avail.
Is there still a way to bypass it that I don't know of that has not been patched yet ? Or else, can you change that to link the game to EA ?
It says something along the lines of : "Origin in game has been deactivated in the Origin client. To activate it, go into the settings of the client, click on "Origin in game" and select the option "Activate Origin in game"."

In win 7 it was a bit tricky but win 10/11 do it natively and all you need to do is just double click the ISO unless you fu**ed up you file associations.

In terms of whether to delete the cracked version or your free version, that's up to you. The IGG games version doesn't allow the gallery to work, but otherwise they're the same game. What I will say though is that if you choose to use your free version and you want all the dlc without paying, you're going to need to locate the Origin DLC Unlocked by anadius. The game won't register the DLC files if you simply move them from the IGG version over.

I have run (as administrator) the file named The Sims 4 update 1.90.358 - 1.90.375.exe ElAmigos Setup. I have no idea where it should be installed, I first tried to choose the location of my current Sims 4, but it did nothing (or I didn't notice), I also tried to install it the default way (it created a folder named Games on one of my drives, and put there in a "The Sims 4" subfolder)
When RapidCRC runs I see that most of the listed files are Not found, some are corrupt and some are OK.
I honestly have no idea how the updates should be installed, I do not know if I missed any of the instructions anywhere (I saw none), if someone could explain and maybe give me some of the required steps it would be great. Thanks!

Most definitely it will hang and take a bit before it's done. Since I'm on hdd, it took a total of 30 minutes for both updates
Also, make sure your antivirus isn't getting pissed off at what you're doing or it may mess something up too.

To answer you for this problem if you are using TOOL mod and better buy mod then you need to update them cuz that means you have an older version that isnt supported with the werewolves. Same with deaderpool.

Follow these instructions. It works once you installed the game completely
In general it should be a folder with "mods" but i can't find it.
if the folder does not exist, try to create one yourself at this location !
With v1.88.213.1030 do not use the Elamigos update V1.87.40 (Current Update file linked above as of 30/5/22 | 5/30/22. It breaks files and won't let the launcher launch the game, as it is made for V1.87.116, and it gives a warning about it when you launch update .exe.
I got the game to finally load past the menu loading screen through restarting the game and hoping in the Crack Gods. Also no DLC apparently, might have to redownload the .rar files and reinstall.

Found solution -> if you have iobit malware fighter on your pc it will block whole sims 4 exe folder and the folder in documents. You have to disable "Realtime protection". For the time being.
How to disbale real-time protection -> Go into your taskbar (might be under hidden icons) and right click on iobit malware fighter and press "Turn off - Real-time protection -> until IMF restarts"
Another Fix (For iobit Malware fighter)
Open Iobit Malware fighter -> right upper corner press the 3 lines -> Settings -> White list -> Addfolder -> Find -> C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts and "C:\Program Files (x86)\The Sims 4 Cottage Living" <--- You dont need to disable realtime Protection <---

I made Sims 4 Updater. And with my repack you can update the game from any version to the newest one by installing a ~6.5GB patch (+ some more for DLCs). But they won't post it here. And unfortunately I can't tell you where to find it.

After taking out my mods folder and running the game up... it seems to be some of the 1000s mods/cc that i have, ill keep my post up just in case anyone else has this problem!
Edit: Also, how long will the packs be valid before I need to install the newer versions? is this a once-off thing to register it to your account, or do you need to keep updating it manualy?

EA didn't bother to fix them at all and kept adding new DLC to milk their half ass products so the mod community has to tackle them. I Prefer playing vanilla mode, but this is ridiculous when your dishwasher, washer, dryer, and even sinks stop working as intended.
Didn't have faith in EA when they killed off Earth and Beyond, but it's like they literally got rid of QA and QC altogether.

Go to your sims folder in My Documents and delete both "options" and "config" files. I suggest you make a backup before deleting them just in case. Then re-start the game, and the audio should be back to normal.
