(3:30) To anyone reading this, dangerous radiation in actual real life has no colour at all, and certainly no swirly particles. Colour is only seen when the radiation is ionizing gas molecules - and that's a sign that the radiation is scorchingly bad.
I am reminded of Tell-Tale's Walking Dead instead. But the gameplay... wow. First there's some fucking QTE, then timed dialogue options, and then "scan for weaknesses". What?
That's absolutely true. They've published "What Remains of Edith Finch, Sayonara Wild Hearts, Gorogoa, Outer Wilds" and recently "Maquette". Great games. The developer of this game however, "Variable State" ... well, they have "Virginia" under their belt which is a considered a mixed bag. Hopefully, they've learned a lot.
Wonder what will happen next?
Or did they just steal it from the French.
