I don't think horror as a whole is going to recover from the absolute Viking raping and pillaging Unity has brought upon it... and then when you don't have Unity, you have trash like The Swine or Blair Witch or similar... and even top guys in the space like Chillas or Puppet Combo, a lot of their games are hit and miss and the good often feel unrefined. Maybe I'm getting old but some of the most scary shit is still the original Friday the 13th on NES. Could just be childhood trauma, lol.
