I asked for a re-upload and thankfully it was done, already tested and it's working now! Little different then I've seen online so idk if the "online fix" changed anything but IT WORKS!
I have an issue, can somebody help me please? The game works fine but after some time, it sometimes unexpectadly gives me an error message "Unexpected mark stack overflow", then loads something and the game freezes and I am unable to play. My friend told me that I was still in game until I manually stopped the game, but then they became unable to leave, even though it said 1/1 players. Can somebody tell me what the issue is? My friend never had this error message pop up. (Also, somebody down in the comments said to have the game on the secondary disk, but I have it there and it still causes problems so I don't know what else to do)
Yes, it is. You can play with other friends who have downloaded the same version, but you may need the online fix (Justas Taujanskas commented the link to it)

Anyone else having an issue with the Occult Sniffer? It literally never works. When i first load in the game it works in the lobby, the second I spawn it on the map it literally quits working. ive tried this over a dozen times and it's not working at all. Ive restarted my game a million times and even bought more, but it never works.
What exactly do you mean by "never works"? Just in case of a misunderstanding of it's purpose; after you activate it by right-clicking, the occult sniffer only sniffs corrupted items. It won't detect things such as wall drawings or the summoning pentacle. On the other hand, it might be buggy when playing in multiplayer, but a quick restart should solve it right up. So if it's not a misunderstanding, then I truly have no idea.
So I actually didn't know this, but it only works while the ghost is still present. The Occult Sniffer will NOT work after you exorcise the ghost. I was using it after therefore I thought it was broken.
There is a comment with the download for it, or you can visit the site directly (just google online fix) but you need to register on the site to be abe to download it
How to play with friends? The Steam Coop provides a weird overlay that I have no idea what to do with. The IP Coop I also have no idea (We tried putting in hamachi ip and the listen_port but it didn't work. We may have done something wrong though) Can somebody help please?
Make sure all players you want to invite are on the same region as you in windows settings. You can do this by searching in your PC settings for "Region" after that, add the game to your steam library by making a desktop shortcut of the Ghost hunter Corp.exe, click "Add non-steam game" on steam them add Ghost Hunter Corp (Everyone you want to invite needs to do this.) After that while in game press "Shift+Tab" it should pull up your steam window, invite your friends how you normally would in other games. (Keep in mind it may say you and your friends are playing a random game, it WON'T say Ghost Hunter Corp) If you have any other questions respond to this and I will try to answer them

We both see that the other is playing "Ghost Hunter Corp", not a random game as you said we should, and when we try to invite or join the other, the only thing that comes up is the option to watch. Do you know what might be the issue?
So since both you and your friends have added the game to your library you're good to go. All that's left is when you first launch the game is open your tablet (in game) then hit the "Steam Coop" button, then click "create steam lobby" and the text below that says "local game" should now change to "Host server" then shift tab and invite your friends. If this doesn't work click the "Local Coop" and do the same thing. So now both Local and Steam coop now should say "Host server" Then invite your friends
i have done everything u typed i checked the region with my friend we did the shortcut, we added it in steam library, we both created steam lobbies but we don't have the option in steam overlay to invite or join each other
varies... if you are using steam fix then no, if you are using different versions then no, but if there is not any kind of protection and people can create there own servers then yes.
Anyone knows a solution for the problem I have? I start the game thru steam and my friend as well, I invite him and he joins my lobby but none of us can see each other and thats why we can't start the game. Any solution?

how do I open the Steam Overlay? Not the one that came with the game, i mean the normal Steam overlay, so that it appears that Im playing the game on my steam account. I cant play online without it

Hey me and my mate have created a lobby and tried to inv each other but it only comes up with inv to watch and we are both online and have added on steam
hmm, I'm honestly unsure of how to fix this one. The only things I did was add it to steam, click local coop and click host game, click steam coop and click host game, then I invited my friends. If I find a fix I will let you know.
Hey, this is kind of late and you probably already found a way but you may need to download online fix for this (someone in the comments posted a link to it, or you can go download it directly from the website - just google online fix. You will need to register at the website to download it tho)

I found a solution. To fix this issue, don't play the game in your main disk (C:). I don't really know why it doesn't work, but transferring it to my second hard drive fixed it. If anyone knows why this happens, pls tell me :)
Is anyone else's progress not saving? My friends and i restarted our games due to a few glitches going on, all above level 0 and when we reloaded the game it restarted us back to 0. just wondering if anyone else noticed or its doing that to anyone.
Yeah they can join thru steam but u can't start the contract for some reason. once your friend join he is basically invisible and when u go to the Van and try to start it by using the wheel nothing happens. In the van it says 1/2 even tho both of us is in there and thats why we cant start.
