No there isnt, I Installed just because u said this. But there isnt AMD FSR in this. The update with AMD FSR hasn't been cracked yet and will probably never happen.

What you meant is probably AMD Fidelity FX CAS, thats a completely other technology and isn't as good as AMD FSR that uses a way better upscaling technology. But thx anyways for responding : )
It may have been deleted by your antivirus, not sure though. You can get a new exe from the animation fix download which is just above the system requirements.

You may have forgotten to install the crack files, if you deleted the ISO used to install the game, its fine. Download the Animation Fix file which also contains the crack files.

After installation, I had to restart the PC, so far you have to have patience for the game to load well. For the first time, it only showed me blackscreen or crashes. After 3-4 times, it started successfully for me. That method started (Run as administrator). This can be modified to a config and config_default file using Notepad ++. I'm confused in the comments, one of the people here is saying not to forget to turn on the FSR feature in the game, but other people are saying to update it to the version with the FSR feature. If you have an Infinite Black Screen when starting a game and nothing happens, or the Game closes moments after starting, it may be because your Windows is in a language other than English.
You need to delete the Resident Evil folder from EMPRESS AppData. C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Roaming\EMPRESS Delete Folder 1196590 and 2 files: 15a3.bin, dbdata.bin.
Change System Language to English and REBOOT. Settings/Time & Language/Language
Launch the game, change Options to your liking, and play for a while. Exit the game, change System Language to your own (Log Out). Restart the game. Everything should be fine. Don't forget to enable AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution in Options. :) (The game worked at the very beginning, but I was changing/installing a lot at the time and when I came back to the game it wouldn't start anymore.)
Oh okay, thanks fo the info, tho I've downloaded Empress' torrent before, I usually ignore when w. defender detects a virus because it's usually low risk, that's how I believe that it's just a false positive. However, in this case, defender detects two viruses, one of which is a high risk, and I've dealt with a virus before that uses up 100% cpu at startup, and I don't want to risk having that again. Is this download really safe?
Turns out I have a different version. I've played 3 versions of this game so I don't know which one I have now. I checked again and FIDELITY FX / CAS is available in the Graphic Options.

Fsr won't fix that. It works poorly with anything below 1440p. DLSS has the same problem. The internal rendering resolution is too low to produce a clear upscaled image.
dont spread false info FSR looks good if you use quality on 1080p or 1440p and dlss 2.0 and beyond they look fine and sharp on 1080p i actually have used dlss on 1080p for control, red dead 2, minecraft rtx and metro exodus and to be honest they look sharper than native for the most part as long as you dont go down to balance on 1080p or performance on 1440p then you will be fine
Oh yeah, a random TEXT article claiming that the IMAGE looks good is totally reliable. Nevermind that several outlets have shown actual images and videos demonstrating that below 1440p it looks pretty blurry and bad. It's not even an FSR problem because the same thing happens with DLSS. There's just not enough information to properly reconstruct the image.

For AMD GPU users - install game with animation fix , crack an before start game disable all AMD tasks in task manager then start game and wait a bit. If game does not starting then close it in task manager and restart pc. Then again disable everything in task manager and start . Worked for me no steam installed ,no crashes i am on intel i7 ,radeon RX570,8gb ram.PS. I have increased paging files to 10000.

Just an assumption, but since you have enough space, something is blocking the game from accessing the space. Either the system itself, you can try running as admin. Or your antivirus is blocking it...
Hard crash to blackscreen on startup. I had to redownload the game from another(ova) site and it works perfectly and includes the fix. Even kept my saves. It's only about 30GB so it didn't take long either.
I went nuts on the fetus but beside that, yes, there could've been so much more added into that game. I bought the game at release, but yet, even though there is some kind of lack of content, I really like that game. Nearly played it 100% in ~50h.
I didn't even felt nothing on the fetus part because i knew nothing of much was going to happen because our weapons had been stolen, so i knew it was all just drama trying to scare us...
that really looks like a crack issue, but this is the first time lve seen this,and never happened to me even affer palying hundreds of cracked games, my guess its your AV or Windows defender deletes some of de crack files before you can copy paste them? My suggestion would be to re start in troubleshoot mode and try to apply the patch again then re start and play (hopefully) good luck men
Are you relatively new to cracking? Might be an issue of the antivirus breaking the crack. Depending on heuristics etc. an antivirus can break a crack before using it. Essentially all cracks are viruses from their pov. If you download, install, apply crack and then disable the antivirus it could have been too late to disable it.
its not well optimized sometimes runs smoot sometimes runs slow, some people can have issues in different areas of the game, lve found if l turn quality to 0.5 0.7 sometimes fixes the issue

It added the missing animation for the parry mechanic. The parry or push back (block, right hook and a kick) was removed by Empress so she added that back in. There was also the Lady D's daughter attack animation that was also removed. The daughter's attack animation which was missing and the parry are now added in with this animation fix. But I can run it at 1080p/60fps with this Rig: System: Windows 11 Pro (Insider 22000.65) CPU: Intel Core i5 4440 4x3,1Ghz GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 480 OC Edition (AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution enabled) RAM: 16GB DDR3 Game is installed on System SSD (ADATA SU800 512GB) Seems like the insane PC specs are only cause they used 2 Protections at once which steals unnecessary CPU Power, with this cracked now very less CPU Power needed.
The only thing I dont have is an TPM Module and I cant build in one and there isnt one on the board. And the Regtweaks which exist to bypass TPM or Secureboot are from Microsoft personally, cause in the spec info pdf is stated that they "In special use cases" allow PCs to ship with Windows 11 without TPM support. And I guess even on the final version, when you bypass TPM, it doesnt matter which CPU is built in, as long it meets the minimum specs of 2x1Ghz at least. And yes it is indeed alot smoother and the perforfmance in games gone up too, I dont know which magic Microsoft uses in Windows 11.

People get salty when you bring up that there is at least a false positive in the files. They act like we don't live in an age of ransomware and shit that fucks your personal files or steals information. That being said, one file has a low threat rating by about 1/8th of virus scanners and the rest are fine. Likely just the flavor of crack that was needed to defeat that fuck of a bitch, Denuvo.
Depending on POV all cracks are viruses. So it is not false positives, but rather a question of the user understanding what the antivirus is finding actually. It is like human intestines. There are lots of ´bacteria, but that does not mean you are sick and need antibiotics, as the antivirus would suggest in this case.
Yeah, that is just bad programming. Or lazy programming. They made the game with specs in mind, which were quite high. If you rerun the game in 5 years with hardware better than what they anticipated now, it will be fine.

Running perfectly fine for me. There is a screen resolution option but you have to scroll down which the UI/Menu doesnt really make clear. I switched to 4K/60, no black bars 60fps with RT-Low. Turned RT off bc it had issues in some parts dipping to lower 40fps. Did a screenshot comparison and the reflection quality w RT-off is just fine.
I fixed my problem by disabling all antivirus, increasing virtual memory to 12000, and instaling the game on a SSD in safe mode, but with the file downloaded in another hard drive; When i runned the game it keept closing for no reason, then i runned the program A.S.R PRO cracked and he fixed all corrupt files in my SSD that i didn't even knew that was corrupted. and the game runs, but with a slowdown and voice sync issue

By Graphics chipset, do you mean the graphics that comes with your CPU or is that different? Cause, I've been researching on PC specs and my laptop is an Asus FA700H with the CPU Ryzen 7 4800H. In Task manager, it says I have 2 GPUs. One is GTX 1650 Ti while the other is just AMD Graphics (TM). Since a GPU is a coprocessor and is embedded in a Graphics card, does that mean that my chipset is the same as my Graphics card (AMD Graphics (TM)), but the GPU is GTX?
You CPU is actually an APU with integrated graphics, they are both in the same chip. It is fine for office, watching videos, youtube etc. and some basic games. The GTX1650TI is your real graphics GPU with dedicated memory.

as a pc optimizer, no. disabling all your services even tho they're not from microsoft can just fuck up all the apps you installed like google chrome ( you can't update it anymore), steam ( you can't play csgo if you disable steam service) and many other problems. if you have geforce experience installed go into settings in geforce experience and turn off overlay that will fix the issue (if you have some other overlays turn them off too. the game doesn't like overlays)
in case you haven't noticed this game consumes 10 RAM so you should increase the memory. according to you, it has 12 RAM. you are short of memory. Maybe it's the cause of your failure so that the game goes smoothly, you should upgrade the components of your pc so you will avoid many problems when executing the games.
It's easy to explain. As the name of the file suggests, this is a file created by EMPRESS. Your Anti-Vir or Windows Defender classifies this file as infected and deletes it before you know it.
its working now thanks but now the game crashes after 2 minutes edit: i accidentally shut down my pc and now EMP.dll was deleted again, i turned off antivirus and real time protection and now the file keeps getting deleted

So i have original (bought) games installed, i made the back up of original files before applying the crack, reason: i heard it removes stuttering, so when i launched the game (steam closed) it ran fine and went to start screen then menu screen when pressing a button. I closed it and then ran the exe again but now games crashes every time 5 or 10 sec after running on black screen, the exe files also disappears from task manager>details. I then copy/pasted the original backed up files and ran the game (steam) and it ran fine. So is there something wrong with the crack or i won't work on the original game and I'll have to download the empress version of the game as well?
Not sure if this will help anyone else out but I was having the same problem as stated in my earlier reply. So I went ahead and un/reinstalled the game except this time I didn't max out settings and made sure i didn't go into the red on any of the display options. Now the game runs flawlessly and has stopped flashing the black screen and then crashing. I'm not that great with computers so this fix might have been obvious to everyone else, but I just wanted to mention what fixed the game for me just in case other (not so good with computers) type of people run into the same problem.
i would just say uninstall your game but keeps the saves, then download this copy and install and crack and you should be fine. be sure to disable windows real time protection and disable your antivurs
Yeah, I've kind of got the same problem. Everything was working great. I made my settings and it asked me to restart my PC to take effect and after that it just starts and goes to a black screen a few times and crashes every time now. Have you had any luck with a fix? Im gonna reinstall and make my settings lower in hopes that's what's causing the crashing. If anyone else has any suggestions, I would be eternally greatful.

i usually upgrade every 5 yrs to the very latest tech out , but gpus are hard to find atm the 30 series anyways and amd are getting pricey with theyre as well , i like them but some of the newer ones tend to have driver issues but i like the ryzen amd cpus , just prefer nvidia gpus in anothe ryear or so if prices and stock arent close to normal i might have to just pay a 1400+ for a 3080 i think a 10 core cpu will be good for the next 6 yrs or so for gaming though and about 32 gig of ram
I fixed the problem, by changeing virtual memory to 10000 in my 2 hardrivers (i've tried before putting 5000-7000 but it didnt work) and then running chkdsk in the HD that the ISO was, then used CCleaner to clean, restarted the computer on safe mode, and it worked.
RE8.Exe should be fine, it's EMP.dll that A/V's like to kill. Can't run the .exe without that. and are you talking about the RE8.exe in the .iso that you installed from? or the installed game. It shouldnt have been removed from the .iso and if that is the case, keep the files where they are and redo the setup in the .iso. It should take virtually no time to install it this time.
I have a problem with the game. When I have cutscenes the game starts to choppy and the picture starts to diverge. after the cutscene, the game starts to jam, making it impossible to continue playing
Dark do not download this. EMPRESS has not released any Fixes for its crack. In fact, NO ONE has released a Fix for this crack. Adam is probably trying to give you (your PC) a Trojan or Backdoor. What problems are you having with the game (what version of Windows and what graphics card do you have?)?

It's working very well on my Potato :) with over a dozen Mods. 50-70 FPS !!! I didn't do anything special to make it work. It is well known that there are "errors" in Crack from EMPRESS. Some animations are missing and some other bugs.
just make sure your drivers up to date and you are running windows 10 make sure that windows real-time protection is off and your anti virus is off when you download and install i have noticed no stutters or missing animations. it all worked flawlessly for me

Help! I was playing the game just fine, but now my anti-virus keeps blocking it this morning, the problem is that its blocking it from a folder Device/SCDEmu etc etc but no idea where that is! So even after adding the RE folder as an exeption it makes no difference... EDIT: No matter how many times I allowed it, it kept getting block, on restart it worked, but then next boot it was blocked again. Aka only seems to get blocked every other boot if I allow it on previous one.. which is kinda annoying, but I already beat the game so w/e

I figured out in a way why the game shutsdown after black screen its most likely that the gpu driver needs to be updated which is why the game force shuts down after black screen. I checked this on my laptop it was showing me the same black screen shutdown error. Therefore i opened device manager and manually updated it and after that the game boots fine.
Ok here is another quick fix to another issue i ran into. sometimes when i try to run the game after exiting the black screen and close issue happened. and i realize in the config.ini it kept changing my Capability value from DirectX11 back to DirectX12. so the only way i could think of is force the game not to change my settings by right clicking it and set it to read-only. Note: do this only after you are absolutely sure you are satisfied with your in-game graphic settings. because whatever changes you make after switching to read-only will not be saved for next launch. but if you have to make changes after that you could always do it when the game is running, untick the read-only, makes changes and tick the read-only after that.
region format must be English (United States). different people having different issues just have to try everything you can. have you tried offline=1 and capability=directx11 ? running it in admin ? installing steam ? or even try cut and paste the config_default.ini to somewhere and run the game ?

don't have config.ini cause your game wasn't fully launched. did you check you region settings and region format ? is it in English (United States) ? Usually there wil be a Config.ini after 1st successful launch. even if it a black screen and close launch.

It has a very positive standing right now in terms of u ser reviews sure but steam doesn't do reviews like that. No this does not feel like an RE game, this feels like a generic horror game with a character that was over hyped to DEATH and ended up being a complete disappointment. But then again RE hasn't been RE for a LONG time now. If you enjoyed it, that's fine, people are allowed to enjoy trash, I myself enjoy tons of games other people consider trash. Sadly this is the new direction RE is going for. For all it's faults, at least 7 had some good horror moments and fantastic atmosphere. This one doesn't even have that except in the Beneviento mansion. Other than that it's all action, to the point of going full COD at one point.
I first felt that when it came to RE6 that it was going in a bad direction. Some people may say 5, but I fucking loved 5. 6 just felt like you move forward a bit and it was just Michael Bay cutscene of you falling through the floor after MB cutscene (for the Leon campaign anyways). RE has always been about the style and slickness of it's original cast and now you're Ethan again for some fucking reason... It's funny that we get downvotes. We're the hardcore RE fans that have been here since the start and they weren't around to see this ip start to take a shit. But I guess I could give it to them as I came in on Fallout 3 for that ip and thought it moving to FPS was amazing. the original strat players probably wanted me to die. lol.

But if I can be perfectly honest, RE hasn't been RE since 4 had that big shift towards more action and less horror. And yet 7 did recapture the horror feeling of the classic RE games but the first person mode ruined it for me. And then 8 did the same thing 4 did, shifting more towards action and less towards horror. I'm honestly dreading to see where the series is going from here. Or if Capcom is just going to can it and turn it into Pachinko machines like Konami did with Metal Gear.

Working fix. For task manger issue. Press Windows Key + R. Type Control and hit enter. Select Clock and Region. Change your region format to English(United States). Launch game and enjoy :)

btw if you have issue launching again after you change your in-game graphic settings. follow the steam_emu.ini, Offline=1 and config.ini, Capability=DirectX11 remember to always run your .exe as admin so your settings will be saved. well atleast thats what i did and it work like a charm now.

You don't have to select Winrar to open it. Just double click to open it with the file explorer and you should be good to go. You can also right click > open with > file explorer, or something along those lines.

Oh alright. I had that issue on Windows11 so I had to go back to Windows10 pro. Anyway, your issue is that something is preventing it from launching. Unfortunately, I was unable to find out on Windows 11. Maybe try running services.msc and disable all non-microsoft services then run it. Then enable them back one by one.

So, I tried it on my son's PC, Ryzen 7 2700 with RTX2060 running Windows 10 and it worked flawlessly, no stutter, no bug etc. I couldn't make it run (it only runs in background processes), I am on Windows 11, RTX 3080 and Ryzen 5 5600x... I guess I'll have to downgrade to Windows 10 again just to check... :'(

I had a similar issue with the game not starting. I deleted the config file in the game folder, then started the exe file as an administrator and it seemed to work at least for me.

Joking aside the setting's also fantastic and the gameplay is legitimately fun. Unlike REmake 3 it's also actually trying to scare you from time to time, too. I'm just not getting the "it's just an action game" comments at all. REmake 3 was just an action game.

Great game so far. Tense and scary in the right places. Just got through Castle Dimitrescu, and one thing I'm loving about this is that it has a ton more variety than 7 did when it comes to enemies. Learning how the vampire witches powers worked was also great stuff. A kind of body horror I haven't actually seen before and it explained quite a bit. Having to hunt down statue faces as Dimitrescu was stalking you and getting more and more pissed off with each daughter you killed was suspenseful as absolute fuck. Hot as she was, that bitch was terrifying where it counted, and the boss itself was a hell of a good ride. Really loving this game. Worth the wait.

Jiggle physics don't necessarily have to include nudity. I've seen a bunch of jiggle enabled mods in REmake 3 that didn't have actual nudity, just skimpy clothing. I honestly don't mind the VA work in this game, for the most part it's pretty decent, Heisenberg especially. What I DO mind is how dumb the characters are written, especially Ethan and Chris. They are both dumbasses through and through.

Resident Evil hasn't been scary for a long time. 5 was way too Michael Bay. Might even be argued that 4 wasn't really that tingly. There's just something about blocky bodies and tank controls that ensures the scares.

Not Denuvo but Capcom's own DRM which was obfuscated within the Denuvo code. It's not the DRM itself that causes stuttering and issues, it's the obfuscation of the code.

Might be an issue of the antivirus breaking the crack.
Depending on heuristics etc. an antivirus can break a crack before using it. Essentially all cracks are viruses from their pov.
If you download, install, apply crack and then disable the antivirus it could have been too late to disable it.
Developers these days always assume you have the best hardware...

That being said, one file has a low threat rating by about 1/8th of virus scanners and the rest are fine. Likely just the flavor of crack that was needed to defeat that fuck of a bitch, Denuvo.
So it is not false positives, but rather a question of the user understanding what the antivirus is finding actually.
It is like human intestines. There are lots of ´bacteria, but that does not mean you are sick and need antibiotics, as the antivirus would suggest in this case.

It runs well, turn off antivirus and real time protection when instaling and durring instalation, copy paste the crack, restart pc and play

Now the game runs flawlessly and has stopped flashing the black screen and then crashing. I'm not that great with computers so this fix might have been obvious to everyone else, but I just wanted to mention what fixed the game for me just in case other (not so good with computers) type of people run into the same problem.

and are you talking about the RE8.exe in the .iso that you installed from? or the installed game. It shouldnt have been removed from the .iso and if that is the case, keep the files where they are and redo the setup in the .iso. It should take virtually no time to install it this time.

2- Changed my Capability value from DirectX12 to DirectX11
3- edited offline=0 to 1 in the steam emu.dill
4- Reinstalled the game and Restarted my pc still no effect

sometimes when i try to run the game after exiting the black screen and close issue happened.
and i realize in the config.ini it kept changing my Capability value from DirectX11 back to DirectX12. so the only way i could think of is force the game not to change my settings by right clicking it and set it to read-only.
Note: do this only after you are absolutely sure you are satisfied with your in-game graphic settings. because whatever changes you make after switching to read-only will not be saved for next launch.
but if you have to make changes after that you could always do it when the game is running, untick the read-only, makes changes and tick the read-only after that.
different people having different issues just have to try everything you can.
have you tried offline=1 and capability=directx11 ?
running it in admin ?
installing steam ?
or even try cut and paste the config_default.ini to somewhere and run the game ?

Usually there wil be a Config.ini after 1st successful launch.

It's funny that we get downvotes. We're the hardcore RE fans that have been here since the start and they weren't around to see this ip start to take a shit. Anyway, your issue is that something is preventing it from launching. Unfortunately, I was unable to find out on Windows 11. Maybe try running services.msc and disable all non-microsoft services then run it. Then enable them back one by one.
