He's on juice and he still looks like a twig. Steroids do not give the body real strength but merely the illusion of muscles. Those "buffed up" guys can't bench more than 50 kgs.
To be honest, I don't completely agree with the "illusion of muscles" and the "50 kgs" parts, but I do agree that considering the crazy risks of steroid use especially among the younger people, it's really not worth it.
Even when the player character is jumping, the audio for footsteps still plays. The developer did not review what has been designed. Also that truncation of the gameworld, as can be seen when the player character steps off the tram at hte beginning of the game. Jarring.
