I have to say it's not really worth your time. Maybe the game will get better but right now after you play for an hour you've really got no point in playing anymore. Tons of clicking to "finish" the game way past the point of caring, and the reward for beating the game is one sentence...

Hi, I am quite embarrassed to ask but pretty much every text of the game shows "error - missing local id". Also I cannot start playing the game for the same reason I guess. Does anyone knows how to fix it? Thanks

Careful what you choose at the end.

You have to choose the first option to "beat" the game, but you get that ending unless all of your civs have near perfect utopia. Kind of shit tbh, having such strict req. for "good" ending and its not even worth doing.

Have fun reaching that far of the game.
EDIT: By the way, i reached that point in just 4 hours. Good luck trying to beat that. :)

Really weird brag. But grats. You're good enough to beat a single player game with mediocre early access A.I.
It's kinda sad that you want to show off on pirate websites, especially while you paid for an E.A. game.
Einfach nur peinlich, ganz ehrlich.

No. It seems like it's one variant of those "god games".
The player is directing the development of sentient life-forms and just watch what happens when they meet each other - if ever. Apparently, civilizations can just go extinct due to the player's decisions or things out of the player's control (as ironic as this would seem).

Sounds like something only certain people can get in to.. Like people who play those idle games and enjoy having the urge to check in (or have the attention span to remember to,) micromanage for a bit and press a bunch of buttons.. Kind of like a Tomagachi. Lol.
I need hands on action. Too ADHD. Legitimately. It sucks.
I wish I could enjoy things like these. I'd have a lot more games to play.

Well guys @Ace Vaver I was just referring to Nvidia Gpu codenames (Fermi, Kepler, Maxwell...) but the conversation got really interesting :D
Avatar
Ace Vaver
It's a Kepler's paradox because he was the first to establish planetary motion through Astronomia Nova but, he also believed that the universe was created by god as an afterimage so it may share or express its thoughts through the faculties of man. Remember that Kepler was also a central figure in the advent of the scientific revolution, key in the first alliteration of the scientific method, alliteration in this case consisting the translation "letter of the alphabet" and is a play on words if you're confused on my usage. The paradox is that the scientific method disapproves the existence of god, but this game is an antithesis to that approach by making you literally, a god, who for all intent and purposes, evoke change through thought rather than direct and immediate action. Lastly, it's also a play on title of the game: Fermi's Paradox. Fermi being Enrico Fermi who not only introduced neutrinos, nuclear power, and fermium, he was also the succor to the Fermi Paradox, in that the existence of aliens runs contrary to the fact that contact have not been made. Kepler Paradox, is a running joke in that God did not you to contact extraterrestrial entities, so stop looking.

Hey, so thanks for clearing up the meaning of Kepler's paradox, in that it's a running joke - I appreciate that.
The rest of what you said was verbose. You've got a bright mind, but communication isn't your forte. I can relate.

"central figure in the advent of the scientific revolution.."
Funny because astronomy does not use the scientific method (hence it is not science) for obvious reasons.

I can't tell if you're trying to pick and choose my words or you're being argumentative for the sake of arguing. That or you're one of snotty people who denounce other subjects not pertaining or even internally between natural, metaphysical, theoretical, mathematical and applicable science.
Unless you don't know what the word advent means in this context, it means that he was a central figure that led to the scientific revolution, A central figure, one of many but he played a big role leading to it. Secondly, the scientific revolution, not the scientific method. The scientific method and the whole part about being a Key and Alliteration is a play on words which, I think you didn't understand or have nuance of the inside joke. Well, not that I'll try to explain in more depth as either you get it or you don't.
Lastly, if you were a legitimate scientist, and that's a mega IF here, you would know that almost no one uses the scientific method, traditional or not, only the results you get are presented in this format. If you want a more familiar example, beta decay was found to have electrons with different range of energies despite undergoing the same process which led to the discovery of neutrinos. As for astronomy, it isn't that they don't use the scientific method, it's that they Can't use it. You want to tell me how to do an experiment on star formations or figure out if extraterrestrials exist in the oort clouds? And then we have theoretical physics, game theory (especially important if we consider measured evidence), thermodynamics, list goes on and on.
The scientific method is like capitalism, it sucks but it's what we have and I wouldn't call it an exact science.

Years ago, I would have rolled my eyes after glancing through your post.
Having done some so-called "scientific" work myself, I do agree with your "it's what we have" statement. Nowadays, I cringe at the word "empirical".
That said, I would just paraphrase what Sherlock Holmes said in one of Arthur Conan Doyle's works: "if facts contradicts extant theories, change the theories to fit the facts".
In other words, be prepared to toss whatever one has been taught right out the window as soon as reality shows it to be otherwise.

There you go. See? The government doesn't know what they are. They seriously, literally, don't.. I'm sure they know that some of them are, but all of this is above the government. Some could be foreign top secret craft, EMF has been around since WW2.
I'm sure that the government would and is placing all bets on it being extra terrestrial, but for the sake of avoiding being incorrect in any sense, they're not going to confirm anything.. Because they really aren't entirely sure. Not in every case. They can't be.. These could even be us from the future, time travelling backward to try and avoid a disaster.. We ARE on a dangerous and destructive path.
I do believe they're extra terrestrial though. Dr. Greer and the disclosure project and people from governments around the globe, and people that worked for governments under different employers, and no longer under oath, are testifying before the press that we're in danger, because we're weaponizing space and we're not supposed to be doing that.. They say we're breaking some kind of treaty with other beings that use space in our galaxy as travel routes. Interstellar ships use our sun, and Earth's electrical storms as energy sources, like intergalactic gas stations, basically.
Be a bitch and dislike my other skeptical comment if you want.. Cause you're a dumb emotional bitch... Everyone from the middle east/Israel is an emotional bitch. The culture is shit. I'm sure you'll like this comment though, partially.. At least the parts you agree with entirely. Lmao. That's how you guys are.. Can't consider anything outside your own realm of hard, concrete BELIEF.. If you agree entirely, you're happy.. if you're not, you throw your hands in the air and MULLAMULLABEEBIBALA MULAKHA KALAKA. HESHOYM MUH FUH LUH MESH AYESH! HECKLE SHMECKLE! Rage until the missiles fly.

None the less I'd like to thank you for sharing, it was interesting, and you sharing it does just that.. Allows for more vital cross referencing.. I wish I could have witnessed it in person.
I've seen some things in my time on Earth.
Avatar

There is still no proof that this is extra terrestrial in nature though, or that it has any intelligence. We don't know what this is, and neither do they. Perhaps someone may have an idea, or actually know, but for that to be confirmed to any extent is going to require more witnesses, more experience, and more cross referencing.

It does amuse me that the military base's first active response is to attempt to hit them with a missile.
No getting a closer look, and such other things.
That said, I have more things to worry about than some floating balls of energy that's just hanging around ignoring missile hits. Wake me up when it's something more significant - like that military base being levelled or something.

This game was SkillUp approved. Summary of his words:
"It's a text-based management game where various lifeforms across the galaxy appear and you can chart the course of their evolution. Your decisions actually matter here. It will probably not impress you mechanically but you'll enjoy the dynamic storytelling and true roleplaying. Like ... imagine if your choices in Mass Effect actually affected the ending!"
