Gameplay wise it's C&C vibes, but somehow, it manages to fail being a better C&C at it. There's no tactical about it. No using obstacles for cover, no splitting units for triangulation fire, no feign strategy moves, etc...just a bland of C&C with unbalanced units. Edit: Actually, it's so bad, you can't continue the campaign due to a game breaking bug.
Ouch! IMPORTANT EDIT: Posting the review above (taken from the game's Steam page) was only meant as a humorous $h1tpost. The game is no longer in Early Access according to Steam, so it may actually be good now.
Actually, I think I may have unintentionally posted a misleading comment. The game has come out of Early Access in this version. And the review you see above is from its early days back in 2019. I just found it funny how a bunch of people given the codes for free were finding the game not worthy of playing and then got struck by the devs :D I will edit my post accordingly to avoid sending the wrong message.
I played about an hour of this. It is version 1.0, meaning it's officially out of Early Access. The game is clearly built on a very tight budget. You can even hear familiar no-copyright music in the game :) It's an honest homage to the titans of the genre and it is expectedly unpolished. I had read on Steam that the game has its unique features, yet I didn't encounter any. But it could be because I didn't get far into the game.
