I like this art piece. Though i personally prefer gritty realistic games and books with fantasy elements like "Ice and Fire" and "Sabres of Infinity" (You must play this game ASAP). This is more of a modern comedy with only the technology of the past to spice up the story. The renaissance and 19th century was even more patriarchal than the medieval period. Women were expected to be totally subservient, and they were, because humans are 80 percent conformist, as is depicted rather well in Dostoyevskies Crime and Punishment who lived during this period. Being heterosexual and asexual were the only acceptable sexualities, being anything else results in instant social castration unless you are really powerful like king James of England. Also, if you have gone out of your way to add in modern-like gender equality as an issue during this time period, why not make it avaible to play as a male? I mean, i see no point, except the feminist meme of "MAN BAD".

There was a game on itch.oi called En Garde that features a kick-ass female protagonist roaming around beating ass. Gives off a Prince of Persia 1 & 2 vibes. Nice, short, legitimately free, and really makes your feel like straight boss each time you play. Worth a shot than this.... barrel of fun.
