I straight up can't listen to the voice acting. I get it, they probably purposely doubled down on the valley-speak but it still makes me want to tear my ears off and eat them.
The trick is booze. Even after 20 years in infantry my body doesn't ache at all (cause I can't feel shit) and lots of things still feel new (cause I already forgot the last time I experianced it).
At first, I was impressed that this is actually a visual novel with voice-overs. Then, when you started skipping the lines and the character sprites slide across the screen, I realized that having voice-overs is not a good thing for this game. Sounds like a group of pals who join a Twitch channel of their pal so that they can yak away the time while said pal is playing the less interesting parts of a game.
