I use a generic gamepad and x360ce, but controls are still quite mixed up. The LT button doesn't work at all and it's quite important.. Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this, or is there no other way to get through the game except to get a xbox controller?

hi, I came here for help (not the control thing, I know the game requires a control) I got this error: "the entry point for the Set ThreadDescription procedure is not found in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll" Apparently I don't have that .dll but I look for it in the system folder and there it is in both System32 and SysWOW64, I reinstalled several Vcredist, Net.framework and still nothing, this is the second game I download from here that has an error related to a .dll that is "missing" the other game was Black powder red earth and that had no solution, this may be related to some virus? pls help
Btw, NO, absolutely NONE of the releases/games on this site contain any viruses! I've been downloading from this site for many years with not a single virus, u might occasionally get a ''false'' positive for some of the 'cracks', but again, they are 'false' positives. & if u want or need help make sure to post your system specs!! People cant help without knowing if u even have a PC that can run this game. & make sure u have copied the crack.
I didn't mean to say that the site has viruses, I was asking if the problem could be related to my pc having a virus, not that I got it from here, I have also downloaded several games from here, all without viruses. And yes, I copied the crack and did everything right, I don't know what else it could be. One of the comments says that the game does not work on Win7, maybe that's it.

I googled for you. The only thing you can try is the Pinacle Game Profiler. There you can map keyboard settings to controller and controller settings to keyboard. Hope this can help you to play the game. And please no more hate here

While that is certainly true, with both Mass Effect Legendary Edition and the Ninja Gaiden games out I fear this one will be put in the back burner for a while
Playing it it's just like I remembered and aged remarkably well. The transition from a wii controller to a traditional one was smooth as hell and the combat is just as fun as it was back in the day, though I kind of miss jacking my wiimote off to recharge my sword. I also miss the lack of controller speaker support, which means you won't be able to hear Sylvia screaming in your ear unless you're wearing headphones or pick up one of your speakers. One issue I'm seeing are some inexplicable frame dips here and there. Seems like the framepacing is off in places for some reason, but it's hardly a dealbreaker and chances are it'll get patched out quick. I suggest playing on Mild instead of Sweet for a first playthrough. Sweet is basically Easy mode, and Mild is Normal, so you'll get more satisfying fights out of it.
Pretty minimal options for the first game at least, in the launcher. The performance issues are more likely a bug than anything. All I'm getting is some frame dips, and even then we're talking from 60fps to 58 and back occasionally.
Go back to 1999. I'm upset old PC games don't support controller. You're upset new games don't support keyboard+mouse. This ain't an MMORPG or an FPS bud.
Most modern games do require a controller, especially if they're console-first. Yes GTA V has good keyboard controls, but GTA IV had worse keyboard controls, and GTA 3 had worst of all. But many games are made FOR keyboard, such as RTSes, western RPGs... which often don't support controller either. Usually hybrid games prefer one specific control scheme, that is the best way to play it. Often, a game made for consoles is less enjoyable with bad keyboard controls. Most people don't actually like playing emulators with their keyboard.
if you really can't get a controller then try using your phone as a controller. there is an app for android called pc remote by Monect. it is not as convenient to use as a controller but still get the job done
