Hi guys i have same issue then i search and search all over the internet and i find the solution for the problem that it crashed if played in campaign mode and maybe it help yours.... Just follow these steps... Click windows start button (windows logo key) Search %appdata% then enter Click appdata Click local folder if any Select all folder has named ArmA 2 Then MOVE it to desktop... Then try to run again...i hope it solve your problem
If anyone is trying to get this game to play the dayz mod please skip it and just get the dayz standalone i tried for 2 days toi find out a lot of the old files need to be updated and no one cracked or copied the updated files! I have discovered the problem people, The game on igg is the original launch update, hence there are no bug fixes and quite a lot of new content is missing
Ok, I just downloaded ArmA 2 Operation arrowhead, I extracted the parts, and then tried istalling the DVD1.ISO file, everything goes ok, until seconds before the installation completes i get the error "Please insert disk 0 that contains the file http://data4.cab" i googled it but the only thing i found was that the file apparently doesnt exist, and that its a security measure, Do you know how i can bypass/fix this?, Any help Appriciated, thanks in advance.. if you have that problem i fix it by opening computer go to where the .cab files are and rename either one http://data4.cab. I had .bin files couldnt find bin 1 i changed data2.bin to data1.bin simple rename fixes everything. rename one of them http://data4.cab just needs renamed
