Jokes and memes aside, I do admire the dev for taking the plunge. Truth is, in the full-on +18 visual novel circles you'll find very very few devs who consciously and knowingly choose to make a game serving anything other than the good old hetero appetite. Even if they do implement a subplot containing an "unconventional" scene they are forced to somehow make it 'avoidable'! Otherwise it is perceived as a negative point for their game. This dev however has been brave enough to develop a visual novel around the topic he likes, not caring about the degree to which he may have limited his prospective range. That's the level of dedication you'd find only rarely these days.
