The simple idea of a "secret" society that everyone "knows" about doesn't fit. If everyone parrots its supposed existence like it's common knowledge, then how come we only have speculations and no semi-solid facts?
I am sure a ton of people in this world would love to dig out stuff, no matter the danger. You can't control such people.
And yet nothing but speculation, like with those Illuminati and other stuff like that.
However, in reality you can stretch it out to the fact that the top 100 richest men in the world have influence in all fields and areas. That's definitely true. But it's no secret and their pockets are not immune to bad publicity.
