I got 3 system errors while opening the game after installation: code execution cannot proceed because XINPUT 1_3.dll, X3DAudio 1_7.dll and XAPOFX 1_5.dll were not found. I downloaded the files from the MegaUp.net link and installed the game without disabling my firewall. Can somebody help me, What am I doing wrong here!??
those are dll you lack on your computer. Just put their name into google and you can download them. then you go to Local disk/windows/System32 and/or SysWOW64 (i usually put them in both since i don't know which is supposed to actually go into but it doesn't cause problems) that will resolve ALL dll problems
Anyone Noticed that the definitive edition didn't give erik's costume? I already Claimed the trodain and boar costumes. but erik's costume is no where in sight even in the claim special rewards tab.
Press the Y/square button when inserting your name in a new save file to open the Draconian Quest menu, there's some fun challenges to activate akin to Nuzlocke but the one I really recommend is "Stronger Monsters", basically the Hard Mode of this game, the default difficulty is kinda easy but Stronger Monsters really challenges you
i have the same problem with all my games in my pc bcoz of its low specications.. the only way to run my games is to adjust game settings in low parameters like graphics etc.. that way i can play the game.
Does someone know where to find the save files? I have an already started game and I wish to continue it with this version, but I can't find where the save files are stored.
Just did a quick google, but seems as like Sony is the villain there, and not square enix or playstation, switch, stadia etc, as they had nothing to do with it. True the game did get released to Playstation 1 apparently. Never heard of the game myself though
I've been playing slot machines for 3 hours now, and have begun thinking of analogies between slot machines and life. I think I might use cheat engine soon :) Edit: the middle one in blue area is definitely best! Machines with 10min and max 90 tokens ofc! Btw, the metal mode jackpot gives 200k tokens, and free life analogies!
im no good at turned based games, I rather it would have been arpg/jrpg, like Ys series, Ys 1 & 2 chronicles does what most rpgs dont, give you free on how you want to fight including Ys origins and Ys ark of naptism. I cant win in turned based games, im either grinding, which seems to take forver, I want a dragon quest game to have an element of freedom while fighting, to move around, I dont want to be stuck in place, its unfair, i mean seriously, it would be way funner, its just like pokemon, you will die alot and loose alot, just like chronos trigger, i get frustrated with turned based games easily, I mean its not balanced, the enemy is more likey to win, unless you do unnecessary backtracking and hidden secret spotting. this is my criticism, thank you for reading. I havent played a turned based game that I liked, unless there is a balanced one out there somewhere
You sounds like you just keep spamming default "Attack" hoping everything ends well. You can get by in most turn-based RPGs past the 16-bit era without any grind: 1- You don't need to stop in a single spot, just fight most enemies in your path through the story (not all of them, but at least 50%~ of them) 2- Talk to NPCs and explore the maps, try to complete most of the sidequests if there's any. 3- Try using different skills and items, if the game has a "Guard" command it may be more necessary than you think, try to adapt to each enemy instead of expecting the enemy to adapt to you. 4- Search on google "[X game] stats description", most of the time a gamefaqs thread exists explaining what each stat does, so you can conciously invest in certain stats or equipments, it becomes a bit more strategic to know what is going on with the stats.
Press the Y/square button when inserting your name in a new save file to open the Draconian Quest menu, there's some fun challenges to activate akin to Nuzlocke but the one I really recommend is "Stronger Monsters", basically the Hard Mode of this game, the default difficulty is kinda easy but Stronger Monsters really challenges you.
"I'm german" is no excuse. English is by far more widespread and that's not likely to change in your lifetime so studying english would be a more rational approach :) Also your bIrthday is coming up in three months (and two days).
runs good, and languages are English and Japanese. I thought Germans knew English? I even think the French does but they are assholes who refuse to use/speak it, could be wrong ofc!
French don't speaks english because a large amount of thing are translated in french. For example, I'm pretty sure this game is avaible in french, and it's the same with a lot of japanese content. France was the 2nd manga consumer for a while, behind Japan.
People feels more comfortable playing in their own language. I am bilingual and even I can understand that. There's probably some way to change the language. Almost everything is in German, Spanish or French, if you actually look for it.
if you guys want the game to look more awesome check out the tweaks you can do form here: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Dragon_Quest_XI_S_-_Definitive_Edition makes the game look so much better, especially those who find the switch graphics inferior careful if your PC isn't top-notch some tweaks take massive power if you're running a GTX1050, intel i5 and 8gb RAM like me you'll have to lower some of those custom values.
crack it! Open the folder named Codex within the disc (.iso file), Drag Engine folder from disc to your install dir location, and replace the files. and voila. Not native English, but best I could do as for explaining.
Maybe if one put two screens next to each other one can see a difference, but there's no bigger difference for sure. I don't see any difference myself, it looks just as I remembered it.
They're not unnoticeable, let's be honest here. They're just not that much of a deal breaker unless the only thing that matters is graphic quality... Which, if one is playing an RPG for its graphics, then there are far greater issues to be addressed first.
nope not at all in some ways each DQ game is self contained with some reference, like final fantasy. to be exact though the following do sort of connect DQ3, 1, 2 in that order starting with DQ3 have a somewhat continous story where 3 has you play edrick/Roto, the hero mentioned quite a bit across DQ1 and 2 DQ monsters/terrys wonderland is technically before DQ6 (terry is the main char who is also in 6) DQ monster 3/caravan heart is probably before DQ7 thats as far i know and paid attention to
I won't write in detail because it will be spoilers This is the culmination of the series released so far. You can enjoy it even more if you play other series.
The Dragon Quest games are like the Final Fantasy series. Aside from a very few most are completely different storylines. Maybe some cross overs or inside jokes but nothing than makes it so you "need" to play the other games to understand what's going on.
never bothered with FF series. I tried it long time ago, FF7, which was supposed to be the best. If memory serves I quitted it within the hour, I saw a train, at a boss or such and just.. NO :) Probably a great game series, but I can't see how FF7 can be one of the best, even at the time I tried it, probably 10 years ago if not more! They are doing remakes of all but that one too about? or?
Well I mean if they put up scores from big name reviewers we all have heard of none of us would care or believe them anyway. lol I'd trust a random review from "Game Skinny" which I've never even heard of more than I would an IGN score.
Engine-> Binary-> Third Party-> Steamworks-> Steamv148-> Win64-> steam_emu. I changed it to Japanese, but it was impossible. Isn't there a Japanese file originally?
wait did I hear somebody just say this is a switch port to pc or something like that. despite graphic on pc it still the same as switch play on pc which is bad. did I misheard?
you'll not notice a difference unless you go looking for it and even then it's not game-ruining you got LOADS of new features for a prob slight graphics downgrade didn't make a difference to me at all i thought it looked the same
when they made a switch port they added stuff like full orchestral score and a 2d version of the game (like the old games) now they are putting that stuff back into the previous consoles/pc.
I just finished this game today. It is a very long game, especially if you want to complete all of the achievements. I still enjoyed it though, but the length of the game was slowly getting to me.
funny its nowhere near the longest DQ game and i'm saying this playing the original DQ11 not DE, which had no speed up battles or 2d mode or even sprint running. not to mention difficulty was a joke until postgame, and postgame its super easy to max level everyone through metal slime spamming DQ7 on 3DS (!!) took me over 200 hours to 100% finish, that's supposed to be FASTER than the original ps1 game by a large margin, i didn't even max out all the classes cause i burned out after fighting "God"
"not to mention difficulty was a joke until postgame" Don't forget the Draconian Quests, the Stronger Monsters is basically a Hard Mode and I really recommend for this game, the default is below average for DQ, but with Stronger Monsters the vibe completely changes.
This game wasn't cracked, the company removed Denuvo. I guess Denuvo won this battle,It seems that Denuvo is getting hard to crack. I'm still waiting for Yakuza like a dragon.
even if you remove denuvo, it still has to be cracked, besides theres no way they sold enough copies of this to warrant denuvo, seeming as this is technically a re release
I just want to share something on my personal feeling. somehow I don't feel like playing these game so Denuvo wins or not. I'm not really that care. but I do care if Dragon: Like a Yakuza Denuvo wins.
No, the post game is where the hardest difficulty start coming especially the boss fight after you finished the main story of the game. The difficulty of entire main game is still easy but after the ending, the difficulty starts increasing like hell just to get the true ending that would infuriates you unless you tried kill spam metal slime in case you encounter one though the chances are rather low too. The post game is where the real game difficulty comes in so better raise the entire party level till max to get through hell difficulty even if you had set the game difficulty setting to easy
thanks, the game got better the gay guy is really funny sylvando or so, I think im gonna buy this game on steam on seales, thats why I like cracked games u can test them before u buy it.
The 2d content is a refreshing paint to this game and pretty good if you are having some 2d nostalgia. Other than that it's pretty much the same exact game as the original release apart from it having some minor performance improvements on low end systems compared to the original release.
They added A LOT of stuff to this version. Remastered graphics and music, the 2d version, more companion quests and more. And isn't that always the point of a remaster? To make money?
The fact we can change the "field song" made my day. DQ8 has the best soundtrack ever (in my opinion) and listen it while i'm playing DQ11 is amazing. Thank you master Sugiyama. And also the game is very nice optmized. Good job, Square.
Dude, I don't know if you are a retard or just a loser looking for attention, but nobody asked or care about what you think. Do whatever you like to your version, you can even put inside your fat ass if you prefer, but your dumb opinion will not change the fact the game is great and the songs are too. Ps.: You should go to a psychologist, your interest in "donkey cock" isn't normal, you have a serious problem. Goodbye.
and i dont know where are u from? maybe Africa!? But we live in a world where most of the part u have the right for freedom of speech! U are even way to dumb to articulate your self a half normal way!
We live in a world where most of us have the freedom of speech* You are even too dumb to articulate yourself in a normal way* Could go further, but forums are forums, no one cares if one begins with capital letters here and there etc. I'm not native English or claim to be an expert but.... Edit: The person seems to be right about you and attention though.
because? he is way to primitive and immature to articulate himself in a normal way! And he is right about me? are u stupid too? I hate the music because its way to noisy and irritating. Its my opinion I said it in a half normal way but this guy is just insulting.
Holy fuck, what a nice surprise! That's two requests in a row I've gotten fulfilled, not like I had anything to do with that, but that's awesome. Next up is Graven Early Access lol
Won't matter, I'm definitely buying Monster Hunter Rise for PC when it comes out on PC. Being able to play at High 1440p settings at 144fps along with support for 4k hd texture mods is gonna be the true definitive version of the game.
No it doesn't. I've had my unit since day one and tried a fuck tons of games on it, it's never overheated a single time. Heck it doesn't even get warm after intense play sessions
It's crap compared to the performance and graphical fidelity you can get when playing games on PC. No one wants to game at 720p or 1080p at 30fps on low settings.
First of all you don't speak for everyone. Second of all that does NOT make the console BAD. You can compare ANY console to the pc, they will all have lower fidelity BUT that doesn't make them BAD. Not everyone has the budget to buy a high powered machine for those kinds of graphical things(Especially since not everyone is a graphical whore). Also 30 FPS? The Switch handles every game at 60 FPS, VERY RARELY does it dip any lower than that, now you're just talking bullshit
I'm sorry I don't speak for people that can't afford pcs that can out perform current gen consoles. Even a budget R5 3600 + GTX 1080 Ti pc can out perform all current gen consoles.
That pc build has been playing games on the same settings as the PS5 and Xbox series X at 4k60fps for years now even before those consoles hit the market. That same pc build can play the same games at 1440p 144fps+. The new upgraded R5 5600x+RTX 3080 has double to triple the gaming performance of current gen consoles in 4K. Then you have the ticking time bomb on a hardware level drm lockout on sony and xbox consoles, with sony consoles having the cmos battery console death and xbox with offline drm lockout where you can't even play physical disc offline.
i don't know if you know this but compare the pc with the nintendo switch and say that the pc has better performance which makes the nintendo junk console ends up including the ps5 and xbox because the pc is superior than that of all consoles .. . that is according to you all consoles are rubbish lol
The PS5 and Xbox Series X are just non upgradeable pcs playing games at either 60fps on medium settings and a few games with support at 120fps. PC is the far superior platform to play games on since you basically have no limitation to performance and graphical fidelity if you have the money to build the best of the best pc money can buy. You're comparing a Toyota Camry(consoles) to a Ferrari(PC).
It's not necessarily uglier version, the original version and the Switch port version barely has any real graphical difference. Both versions look ok at best in 2021. These games aren't meant to be graphically impressive when we already have games like COD and RE Village which are graphically PHENOMINAL.
Even less reason to make DQXI look worse. And believe it or not I happened to really like how the old PC version looked. The environments could be really beautiful.
People who are downloading this game now just want to play the 2d content. No one cares about the minor visual downgrades in certain parts of the game when the original version was not graphically impressive in the first place.
The 2D version is its own issue. As you said the 2D version is the only reason most people download it. 30 GB of data just to play a 5 MB SNES game equivalent.
That's no excuse to go easy on Square for being sleazy, greedy, and worst of all lazy. That shit should never go rewarded or praised, and not everybody's getting this game for free.
Greedy and sleazy how if you aren't spending money on this port? Who's praising this port when it's pretty much the same exact game as the original version aside from the addition of the 2d content? If people want to spend money on something, that's their business. It's like telling people to not gamble at a casino with their own money.
"Greedy and sleazy how if you aren't spending money on this port?" Are you saying that Square put this cracked game out and promotes piracy in general? Man, they must feel dumb for spending money on Denuvo if that's the case.
What does that have anything to do with greedy or sleazy? Any and all game developers wouldn't want their game to be pirated, if the game developers can afford to pay for denuvo to protect their asset for as long as possible that's their business. I'd buy this port if I haven't played the original version already and if it went on sale for like $20 regardless if it had denuvo or not. Denuvo is the least of your concern when Steam or Epic is DRM itself.
That was obvious sarcasm because the question I quoted was nonsense. My not spending money on this port doesn't make Square Enix any less greedy, sleazy, or lazy. In fact it's why I don't regret pirating it. They're counting on people actually paying for the game, and putting out next to no effort to justify their pricetag. Since you're getting more confused and frustrated for whatever reason I'll rephrase my argument to be more simple. Read carefully this time: This is a lazy port of the lowest quality console version of a game. Square was wrong to release this so-called special edition when, instead, they could've just released the 16 bit version of the game and the extra clothes and sidequests for every platform as DLC. That way people who already bought the original version didn't have to pay for an entire game all over again. Even worse, they nerfed the graphics for every platform just so it could play decently on a Nintendo Switch. They openly lowered the quality for everyone just for the sake of one demographic, and charged out the nose for it. It's insanely poor business, and is easily summed up with three words: sleazy, greedy, and lazy. You might enjoy slurping on Square's ass for pulling this shit, but I'd rather call them out for it if it's all the same to you.
You keep saying lazy and sleazy when you are getting this port for FREE on this site. If you had paid for this port full price then I would agree with what you are saying. You have some issues complaining about shit that don't matter when you can get it for FREE cracked. It's like being a hobo living in a homeless shelter rent free and then complaining about why the homeless shelter isn't a full blown 5 star hotel. Complain about this game on Store fronts that are selling this port after you have bought it.
So your whole argument is that Square is somehow above above any criticism if a critic was smart enough not to get suckered into buying the game. Sorry, buddy. That's not how logic works. If you'd agree with what I said just because somebody else said it, then guess what? You agree with me, simple as. Your analogy also doesn't work. There actually are calls to improve the quality of life in homeless shelters from people who don't even use them, and they're perfectly within their rights to criticize them provided they have legitimate reasons. Just like I'm perfectly within my rights to call Square's executives a pile of sleazy assholes for downgrading a game, throwing in some DLC gimmicks, and selling it like it's brand new all over again. Doesn't matter who says it, that shit's sleazy, greedy, and lazy. That is the simple barebones truth of the matter, and I have every right to tell it.
No where in any of my statements have I said Square is above criticism, you are just doing it at the wrong place. As I have already stated do that on store fronts like Steam as a review after you purchase the game. Igg-games is a place for downloading cracked games with no care about what game developers or publishers decide to do with their games. There are much older titles from Square that deserves more flaming compared to DQXI on PC like FF8, FF8 Remaster, FF13, Nier Automata, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana and so on and so forth. This place isn't where you want to complain as it does NOTHING, people just want to download the game for FREE and PLAY regardless of the underlying issues with games.
So Mr.X we who got it for "free", but not really for free, we pirate it. Could you listen to this without thinking of that? Just the whole idea of them re-selling a game, exactly as it was and is, more or less? If it's such a no big deal, why are you bitching? Clearly it's just wrong, you don't have to say anything? Or maybe we can have a say in it? Say that paying for something that people should've gotten for free is bad? Outright they should've gotten these in game features? It's not a DLC? Mr.X? this isn't for free, we are all doing something illegal, but this download is probably the most legal download of all times? Also, want to know who complains about this? People who want to pay?? True pirates just pirate? The ones who complain wants to pay or did pay!! I mean get real!
If you did pay for it at a store front, then you probably already did complain about it in your review in a place where it actually matters. Complaining about it here will not and does not affect the game, game developer and game publisher in anyway.
The only reason I'm here is to download the game for free and to play it, I only add to people's comment that complain about shit when they are getting it for free on a place that won't do anything to change the game for the better. Complaining about a complainer is bad? Get real.
it's still not for free? how hard is it for you to understand this part? You presume people want to be criminals? If i had all the money in the world, i would not pirate, this is true. Believe it or not
lmao there's no wrong place to criticize a game company. Hell, a piracy site is probably one of the most likely places to tell a game company to fuck itself. It does that just by existing. And no. I'll say whatever I want with or without your permission, princess. If you don't like Square getting dumped on, then don't read the posts. Nothing's saying you have to. Sure as hell don't make the mistake in thinking you speak for everybody here. IGG-games doesn't exist for you.
Sure thing Mr. Hobo living at a homeless shelter rent free, keep complaining about why your homeless shelter isn't a 5 star hotel under the bridge. I'll go download more games for free and have fun playing them.
Wow, real mature, you sure showed me. And reusing a dead as hell argument to boot. It's the kind of post-modern genius I'd put on Darksydephil or Tommy Wiseau. Good job! Now I'm just wondering why you'd take such offense to me saying that this port is an example of Square Enix's business division at its worst. It's certainly not a lie. Is it really because you've decided that I have no right to criticize? Considering that logic is insane I sincerely hope not. It's such a weird statement to get this angry about in any case, when you could've, you know, not given a shit.
ey mate, i'm bit drunk atm, but this is kind of fun.. but you shouldn't get side tracked when people put words in your mouth.. calm down :) I do mean what I am saying ofc
Right back at you Mr. Hobo. I took no offense at what you are saying about the game, however it makes zero sense to do it here when it contributes to nothing. I already have said there are more games under Square's name that also deserve flaming more so than this port which does not have any performance issues at all. But complaining about those very exact games on igg does nothing at all.
Now you're blubbering, insulting, and repeating yourself. None of your arguments make any sense or hold any water no matter how often you say them. Chill bro. Take a nap or something.
The funniest thing about this shitshow is that this clown thinks Square has ever given a shit about steam comments. They only adjust when their profits are threatened. In other words, not paying for this is worth more than every Steam review ever written. At any rate, this has gone on long enough. At this point you're just clearly here to complain about internet comments that you don't even have to read because you have severe delusions of grandeur and think anybody cares about your made-up rules. Blocked.
Says the clown that thinks complaining about anything actually contributes to something on this site when in fact it does nothing to change the game for the better, where negatively review bombing on store fronts actually affects game sales directly.
The game actually has new content besides the addition of the 2D mode, new stories focused around each main character, new costumes, being able to double/triple the battle speed, new endings, new post-game content, etc. also the original JP release didn't have voice acting, it was first added to the western release. The reason the Switch version was made is because the creator of the franchise (Yuji Horii) promised to Iwata when he was alive that he would make a DQXI port for a Nintendo console, they had to rebuild the game from the ground up because no way the Switch would be able to run DQXI without some hardcore optmization, the result is downgraded graphics somewhat, this story is kinda lost with the PC release, it would be a lot of effort to mix to develop a third version fusing the two engines for PC, so they released the Switch version as it is with few changes.
So this is how it feels to have bought a game and then seeing it get cracked some time later ... well at least is nice to see that Denuvo eventually gets removed from games.
A good game should sell without Denuvo. In fact it should sell even better without Denuvo. I don't buy games without testing it first. Except for a few trusted exceptions.
This is one of the reasons why I don't bother with the hottest new games. There is a lot less risk of "feels bad", e.g. buyer's remorse (if one bothers to shell out a single fucking cent), when playing a game years after the fact. That said, I wouldn't be touching this one. I can already see the complaints about this legally dubious package of game not running well. Ports of Japanese-developed games are notorious for having unstable "free enterprise" versions, not because they have copy-protection (hah!), but because they need a machine that is already tightly prepped to play them in the first place. That, and because their developers are terrible at documenting the exact prerequisites, e.g. any other software that needs to be already installed in the player's machine in the first place.
That's what I would have just said years ago - but I have long since learned that it's not that simple to port stuff. Getting code to work on other platforms is a complication, to cite an example. The burn-out from this work is real.
People just want to complain about shit when they are getting it for free on this site. People don't realize how much work and time it takes to look over a shit ton of code to fix bugs. Fix one bug then a new one comes out. This applies to emulation too as regression can happen when you fix one thing.
I mean when I bought it it wasn't a hot new game. I got it like at 60% off a month ago I think. Still as an student I am not really swiming in cash exactly. And as for the game, I played both version to completion and they run fine in my PC, in Fact I kinda love japanese games ports for PC but you do you dude. If you don't want to touch the game fair enough.
As long as you are seeding while downloading at the same time it shouldn't be an issue. No reason not to upload during a torrent if it speeds up the process for everyone else on the same torrent.
There are new side stories for companions You can play the entire game in 2D mode Visit the 16-bit World of Tickington You can play with a Japanese voice track It has orchestrated music There’s a new ultra-fast battle setting There’s a photo mode Cosmetic-only options Crafting is also faster and more convenient A new quick command menu helps keep things moving And that's about it
That's what bothers me the most. If you're gonna make a PC port, give it the good graphics along with the Switch content. No reason to just lazily port the inferior looking version for machines that are generally twice as powerful at least.
You can mod in the orchestral score in the old PC version.
Grinding wasn't an issue with this game by any means. If anything there was less need to grind than I was used to with DQ.
Kind of shitty to add photomode on a graphically downgraded version.
That's alright, good addition.
I liked the crafting in the original. It didn't reward savescumming and made you really think about what you were doing. This change feels more like a difficulty nerf than a QOL improvement.
I think that was also an option in the old PC version. If not you could also mod JP voices in.
This would be the only reason I'd play this again to see how they handled things in 16 bit. Seems like a waste to download an entire 30 GB game for that though, considering huge SNES RPGs like Chrono Trigger are generally under 5 MB. Maybe Square could be cool and release the 16 bit version as a standalone.
Kind of meaningless but cool I guess?
Another good addition.
That's a real shame since Gemma's best girl. Won't be getting anything out of that one. Most of these, aside from the 16bit mode, extra costumes, and new sidequests, seem to me to be either superficial or already on PC if you know where to look. Just doesn't feel like it's worth the nerfed graphics unless you just plan on playing entirely in 16-bit.
Square could absolutely have added all of these things to the better looking version. Downgrading for the sake of a less powerful console just because that console sells is what's wrong with gaming as a whole.
It's all about the money, it's all about the dum di dumdi-dum-di.. I agree though, and games nowdays aren't even better, just better graphics. Depending on how far back we go ofc. They are kind of killing their own business though. If one wants to keep gaming industry good they should want everyone to play. Not only consoles, not only PC. The more people who can play the more money will go around and interest will be larger. More people will want to work within gaming industry etc etc. Trying to limit people to consoles, or that specific console or PC or mac etc will just take the edge off, bit by bit.. And the fact that we pay for the rights to play the game now, not an actual copy, pushes this even further. I for one will not buy a game from Tencent ever again. Eeh do note, this is just my "in"experienced view though mind you, I'm no expert even if it may have sounded like it, it's just what I believe from what I've seen. Would gladely listen to your opinions too or feedback.. constructive feedback. If it is as I say then it won't matter much, just replay the old good games and all good, and be a pirate :)
Piracy's really been making a comeback and I'm glad to see it. It was actually starting to die out for awhile. I'm with you on it all being about profits. And if you can make them with the least amount of effort possible, then all the better. It's not pretty.

1- You don't need to stop in a single spot, just fight most enemies in your path through the story (not all of them, but at least 50%~ of them)
2- Talk to NPCs and explore the maps, try to complete most of the sidequests if there's any.
:?
^^
I thought Germans knew English? I even think the French does but they are assholes who refuse to use/speak it, could be wrong ofc!

makes the game look so much better, especially those who find the switch graphics inferior
careful if your PC isn't top-notch some tweaks take massive power
if you're running a GTX1050, intel i5 and 8gb RAM like me you'll have to lower some of those custom values.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6h2kHl1kUws
Somebody could help me, please?
Not native English, but best I could do as for explaining.
read this fat list of changes and additions:
https://dragonquest.fandom.com/wiki/Dragon_Quest_XI#Definitive_Edition
also graphics are unnoticably different maybe some SLIGHT lighting change other than i see no difference
Which, if one is playing an RPG for its graphics, then there are far greater issues to be addressed first.
in some ways each DQ game is self contained with some reference, like final fantasy.
to be exact though the following do sort of connect
DQ3, 1, 2 in that order starting with DQ3 have a somewhat continous story where 3 has you play edrick/Roto, the hero mentioned quite a bit across DQ1 and 2
DQ monsters/terrys wonderland is technically before DQ6 (terry is the main char who is also in 6)
DQ monster 3/caravan heart is probably before DQ7
thats as far i know and paid attention to
This is the culmination of the series released so far.
You can enjoy it even more if you play other series.
Probably a great game series, but I can't see how FF7 can be one of the best, even at the time I tried it, probably 10 years ago if not more!
They are doing remakes of all but that one too about? or?
every dragon quest had different story
I'd trust a random review from "Game Skinny" which I've never even heard of more than I would an IGN score.
I changed it to Japanese, but it was impossible.
Isn't there a Japanese file originally?
use the graphics tweaks here to make the game look even better than the original.
and even then it's not game-ruining
you got LOADS of new features for a prob slight graphics downgrade
didn't make a difference to me at all i thought it looked the same
https://youtu.be/JTFXPK_p06o
not to mention difficulty was a joke until postgame, and postgame its super easy to max level everyone through metal slime spamming
DQ7 on 3DS (!!) took me over 200 hours to 100% finish, that's supposed to be FASTER than the original ps1 game by a large margin, i didn't even max out all the classes cause i burned out after fighting "God"
Don't forget the Draconian Quests, the Stronger Monsters is basically a Hard Mode and I really recommend for this game, the default is below average for DQ, but with Stronger Monsters the vibe completely changes.
but I do care if Dragon: Like a Yakuza Denuvo wins.
https://www.reddit.com/r/CrackWatch/comments/nlpgu4/empress_next_crack_update/
the original DQ11, the main story's a joke in difficulty, the postgame is the real "game" so to speak
You are even too dumb to articulate yourself in a normal way*
Could go further, but forums are forums, no one cares if one begins with capital letters here and there etc. I'm not native English or claim to be an expert but....
Edit: The person seems to be right about you and attention though.
You typed like a fucking cave man you sick fuck.

Then you have the ticking time bomb on a hardware level drm lockout on sony and xbox consoles, with sony consoles having the cmos battery console death and xbox with offline drm lockout where you can't even play physical disc offline.
30 GB of data just to play a 5 MB SNES game equivalent.
Are you saying that Square put this cracked game out and promotes piracy in general?
Man, they must feel dumb for spending money on Denuvo if that's the case.
Denuvo is the least of your concern when Steam or Epic is DRM itself.
Since you're getting more confused and frustrated for whatever reason I'll rephrase my argument to be more simple. Read carefully this time:
This is a lazy port of the lowest quality console version of a game.
Complain about this game on Store fronts that are selling this port after you have bought it.
Mr.X? this isn't for free, we are all doing something illegal, but this download is probably the most legal download of all times?
Also, want to know who complains about this? People who want to pay?? True pirates just pirate? The ones who complain wants to pay or did pay!! I mean get real!
It's sure as hell affecting you, lmao
And no. I'll say whatever I want with or without your permission, princess. If you don't like Square getting dumped on, then don't read the posts. Nothing's saying you have to. Sure as hell don't make the mistake in thinking you speak for everybody here. IGG-games doesn't exist for you.
-Mr. X
None of your arguments make any sense or hold any water no matter how often you say them. Chill bro. Take a nap or something.
At any rate, this has gone on long enough. At this point you're just clearly here to complain about internet comments that you don't even have to read because you have severe delusions of grandeur and think anybody cares about your made-up rules. Blocked.
I don't buy games without testing it first. Except for a few trusted exceptions.
Getting code to work on other platforms is a complication, to cite an example. The burn-out from this work is real.
And as for the game, I played both version to completion and they run fine in my PC, in Fact I kinda love japanese games ports for PC but you do you dude. If you don't want to touch the game fair enough.
You can play the entire game in 2D mode
Visit the 16-bit World of Tickington
You can play with a Japanese voice track
It has orchestrated music
There’s a new ultra-fast battle setting
There’s a photo mode
Cosmetic-only options
Crafting is also faster and more convenient
A new quick command menu helps keep things moving
And that's about it
so by FUCK it means,,,,,,,,
This shit's gotten way past old.
Most of these, aside from the 16bit mode, extra costumes, and new sidequests, seem to me to be either superficial or already on PC if you know where to look. Just doesn't feel like it's worth the nerfed graphics unless you just plan on playing entirely in 16-bit.
I'm with you on it all being about profits. And if you can make them with the least amount of effort possible, then all the better. It's not pretty.
