i tweaked the cracked version of this to run from an installer without worrying about messing with the crack. i did this because this crack version tilted me mods can i have the link to upload it for you guys please i would love to make it easier for people
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Typing of the Dead Overkill, then find HOTD_NG.exe then rename it to HOTD_NG-safemode.exe
Go to NVIDIA settings, add HOTD_NG-safemode.exe, then make sure the GPU used is Integrated Graphics instead of the NVIDIA GPU Voila. It should work. Don't try to change anything in the settings except for resolution, it tends to glitch out the graphics.

inside the file that you ran the setup from youll find a folder called crack drag the contents inside that inside the folder where you put the game and bingo, bobs your uncle, the fucker runs!
Does this also have the regular game included? I'm not sure how that works but I was told it also comes with the original Overkill game no typing involved?
Many games require steam to be running in the background even if they are cracked. the crack only uses active steam accounts and does some 'Magic!' to give permission for the game to run. It does NOT replace the need of steam (unless of course, you are using SteamEmu).
Basically, have steam on and signed in while you play. That should work. Do note that I have not managed to get the game to work on my pc. If i recall I had an issue with my video card or something. (nvidia geforce 770. Win 7. 16GB ram. intel i7-4770k)
