Anyone know of more Horror games like this? Not "Survival" horror. Just Horror Games without clunky mechanics. I personally dont find limited inventory, tank controls and backtracking scary. just annoying :p. I much prefer dark creepy atmosphere and plentiful supplies but tougher encounters/enemies like in Dead Space, Dying Light, F.E.A.R and The Suffering game series. Theres a reason why so many people feel Resident Evil 4 was one of the best in RE series even though it wasn't that scary
Dawn of Fear is very good too and is very similar to this one. You may also be interested in Fear the Dark Unknown, Song of Horror and Medium. I am a lover of these styles of games.
I'm lovin 'it. it's a lot like old school Resident Evil. You have the option of choosing between fixed camera or camera angle. Although it is not bad to look around, I prefer fixed camera for this type of game.
Read the whole description mate... yes its Early Access, however its 1.0 version, the reason why they did not update to full release, was because the developers say they will not call it Full Release until its translated into Italian and Greek I think it was? However the game is 100% complete. Anyways pretty dumb decision on their part to still call the complete game as Early Acess...cause like you, my first reaction when reading those words was to completely ignore the game.
Quick Update : To run/play the game after Extraction you can find the .exe file in Binaries/Win64 and then Select UDK.exe found in the folder. Secondly i've played about 30 minutes of the game. I got stuck right in the beginning but ended up finding out that you can use your knife to "open" a door by going into menu and selecting "use" There are jumpscares, however the gameplay is actually REALLY decent especially if you love classic RE games. The "zombies" are just like RE zombies, however when killing them or when you do kill them they kinda do the ragdoll thing. Just something to keep in mind. Atmosphere is GOOD, lighting is awesome and runs VERY smooth. All in all kinda happy to continue to this game to see what comes.
about 3 or so a day when they release a good bit of them , also need some way to mark games that i downloaded before so i dont accidently download older ones again
That is exactly what it is, and you have option to use classic fixed camera or go RE4 camera style... its a really great game, too bad they overpriced it.. its 45$ CND, otherwise I would buy it in a heartbeat.
