I absolutely have to say after playing with one of my good online friends this game is seriously worth the money. If more people purchase it we will get more free content and campaigns ! Probably.. Look for a .cfg file or something, one of the files with a gear icon in the games folder archives.. Open it up with notepad, press ctrl+f and type the name that's showing up in-game to locate the value in the text. Then change it to whatever and save.. If it wont save, right click the file, go to properties, and make sure it's not set to read only, also make sure the folder the file is in and the file itself has administrator level access. That's usually how it works with steam games that rely on your steam name for an in-game online username.
Yeah, usually VR titles and indie games on Steam have working online play even if pirated. Depends on how much the developer cares. I think VR Dungeon Knight still has working online play lol. If it doesn't work on it's own, usually you can use something like Hamachi to set up an online session using your own computer as a server, if you have a friend also using it to give the connection info to. I actually bought VR Dungeon Knight because the developer was cool enough to leave online play working with the pirated versions. He gave people the freedom to decide if his product was worth the money, he could have put a stop to it. Online play is what made the game fun. I'd have never known had he patched it. I knew other people who pirated it were playing as well, because they hadn't gone in to their configuration file in the game folder, and changed the username from IGGGAMES to something else.. Lmao. I ran in to a couple people like that..
Lol, I've actually gone back and bought a dozen or so games I pirated after I beat them, because after thinking about the whole experience I just had, I just don't feel right not throwing some money at whoever's selling it lol.. It's like taking your girlfriend out to do whatever she wants because she blew you so good.
Believe me, this game is worth the purchase to play the VR experience. Everyone is raving about it, but yeah, try it out for yourself. It's an awesome game! The multiplayer is insanely fun!
Really? That's awesome! I'll try it. I usually download games from here and if I like them, then I just purchase the game since I like supporting the devs.
you can play online with the cracked version BUT it doesn't have the second scenario, which is new so everybody plays that second scenario now. I hope the update comes soon here too. Or you could buy the game, of course.
