* HOW TO FIX FAILURE TO LAUNCH * Hi guys, I was able to fix the problem of the game not starting. Just go to /Siphonophore_Data/Plugins from the root game folder and copy all the files that are there to the root game folder (where the .exe is). Now the game will start, enjoy :)
So ... I have to try this. And that's why we love indie games. No chance in hell you'd find a AAA game with that title. A little bit of real life lore though. If you don't know what a siphonophore is, it is basically a colony of marine creatures in which separate groups of the species take on different duties as organs but they make up a single harmonious creature overall. To use a humanly metaphor, imagine opening up a door and seeing two human eye-balls in the back of the room watching you while rolling around and then a brain is sitting on the fan, the stomach is digesting food while crawling across the floor and so on. Yet all these separate organs are alive, in contact with each other and are working in harmony! That's a siphonophore for you. Now, imagine that as a title for a videogame. Can't get any more horrifying than that, can it?
