3.0 is so laggy as well, the game itself is lagging even though I had good system which I don't had problem running graphically hungry games including new titles but for this to be laggy for a pixel game is so unreal... Too bad I can't find fix for this, it seems the community of this game is non-existent.
A share from my mind. after 11 days beating Cold Steel IV. I played Fenix just a little bit. then, got bored. after that, AC Valhalla. somehow I need to put that game on hold after 3 hours gameplay. now, Atelier Ryza 2. somehow still don't feel the joy but I'm still playing it now.
i see that you're fast to get bored by games, probably you'd like to try Legend of Mana on PS1 (use emulator or bought one), it's interesting- but the pc version is going to be released on july this year.
Did you know that you can run the game in its compact size without having to give it all this space? You can do this with a simple trick with winrar
after decompress it extract icon from Rogue Heroes.exe with any icon extractor.
select all contents and right click and choose add to archive
check create sfx archive and then choose advanced tab and click sfx option.
go to setup tab and type Rogue Heroes.exe in run after extraction field.
now in Modes check unpack to temporary folder box and choose hide all.
in text and icon tab choose the game icon that you extract it before.
that is it click OK OK to make your compressed game and save your space. NOTE: some games don't be removed from temp folder after you close them, so you need to delete them manually or with any cleaner app, but there is an easy way by writing this code in notepad and save it with .bat extension and run it from desktop or put it in the startup folder. rd %temp% /s /q md %temp%
sounds inconvenient and troublesome, after the game extracted in tmp, it use storage the same as you extract it, and you can lose your progress too if the save is inside the tmp folder and get deleted when you clean tmp in your pc. also winrar have to extract to tmp again after you delete it. not recommended to do this. better play a normal way and delete it right away after you finish.
Yes, it is not recommended for those games that save progress in the same folder, where there are simple additional steps for them, but for the rest of the games this method has some benefits if you focus a little.. My English is not good but I just wanted to share this idea with those who might think it helps,Thanks for your reply my friend
This depends on the type of game files not the compression method, in this case the cause is .xnb files an XNA Game Studio Binary files.. inside content folder you'll find image folder with 1.41gb and if you recompress it you will get 30 mb.
heh each has own tastes... i dont like pvp multiplayer games nomore... used to play Unreal Tournament, Quake 2 & 3 and Counter-Strike--- Nowadays i cant stand playin mutiplay if i CANt play the story with friend :)
They also changed its soundtrack into a slightly worse one, made everybody look like robots, and turned the main character into, I kid you not, an underage male prostitute. Just emulate the PS3 game.

md %temp%
startup folder
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
simplex plaza and other scene groups have done this before
That's 10 times the size of the archive file man.
