According to this game's torrent page (See here, this game is a Scene release from the Scene group, "I KnoW".

Based upon the error message, it sounds like your completed download was possibly corrupted. What virtual disc management utility [application] are you using (e.g. - [freeware] "Daemon Tools Lite"? This is not a "Daemon Tools Lite" error message) to attempt to mount the disc image file?
😐❓

You wrote that you downloaded, via torrent, an .iso file. Did you download the torrent from this game's torrent page (See the previously linked page) which is located on this site's sister site, "PCGamesTorrents"? Any torrent listed on a torrent page for any given game listed on "PCGamesTorrents" is for a WinRAR archive file which may contain [an] .iso file(s) or a folder with a pre-installed game. If you did not download the torrent from that page then first do so and then try to mount the extracted .iso file to see whether the error persists.
😐❓ 😐

Since you've already completed the download via P2P torrent, I believe that it is already too late for you to check the hash [file checksum] for the downloaded portion [parts] of an incomplete file via the torrent client application (AFAIK, this can usually be done for an ongoing, not yet completed file via some kind of "Check Hash" option within a shortcut menu that is brought up via a right click within the torrent client application. You can't check the hash for a completed file that has already been removed from the client application. I could be wrong, as I don't download via torrents).

If you did completely download the extracted .iso file from that torrent page then you can try to open (Not mount) the .iso file which itself is a container for other files, using "ISOBuster" (See here for more information and trial version download or here for a cracked version v4.9.1.0 that I found on KaranPC). If ISOBuster can't open the .iso file or opens the .iso file with errors then that is an indication that your download was corrupted at some point in time during the transfer process. If the .iso file is corrupt then try to download the WinRAR archive again via P2P torrent or you can try downloading the spanned [multipart] WinRAR archive via the mirror links on this game's page on this site. If ISOBuster is able to open the .iso file without any errors then try using "Daemon Tools Lite" to mount the .iso file or you can optionally try to extract all of the game's installation files from the .iso file into a new folder using "ISOBuster".

I hope that all of this helps you~!

FIFA 20 still has no crack available for it.
It's still on the list of uncracked denuvo games at the game request page.
The list isn't just for show.

Edit:
Also if you would have seen the comment by modorator gabgster.
He stated it's not cracked & to wait until one is released.

😐❓

According to the torrent link for this game in the game's page, this game is a Scene release from the Scene group, "RUNE".
😐

I searched the 'Net and was able to find a report of the problem in a Reddit page posted by Reddit user "Hail_Storm10" (See here). According to Reddit user "Realistic-Archer-793"'s reply post, the save game(s) should be located under "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Steam\RUNE\454650\remote\dbxv2".

It is possible that if RUNE's cracked game executable is starting from the beginning after you have supposedly loaded a saved game then it may be that the cracked game is not finding a given save game file under the predetermined filepath mentioned by "Realistic-Archer-793", due to the cracked game's save game process not saving it under that predetermined filepath where the load game process expects it to be. The cracked game then just starts from the beginning as a default action, without first displaying a warning message to the player about not finding the desired saved game.

Exit out of the game, find and then try copying your save game file(s) under ":\Users\Public\Documents\Steam\RUNE\454650\remote\dbxv2" in your machine's system drive (eg. - "C") so that the cracked game's load game process can possibly find each save game whenever selected. Afterwards, try starting the game again and loading a save game to see whether the problem is resolved.

I hope that this helps you~!

UPDATE v1.05 only work with WWE.2K24-RUNE version, bro.

I guess the version you installed is not RUNE. If you still keep the RUNE iso file, reinstall it.

Hi, not sure if i should ask it here but i need some help, i've downloaded cyberpunk and played it a lot no issues here, but recently i saw that it wasn't the newest version, so i backed up my save files, downloaded the updates from igg, the first one went smoothly, but the second update to 2.12 has encountered some error, now my game's broken and i currently download it all again,

I need to ask because honestly i never once used IGG updaters (as i like to call it) i assume i need to download the first update then the second etc.?

also it made some back-up after the first updater so i 'rolled it back' and atleast the game doesn't crash when trying to open it up but i get this window that says "Woah! cyberpunk has flatlined" just like someone posted 1 week ago Uploaded Image

Roosevelt asked this guy what .exe he launched up, so i assumed i run wrong .exe but either of them gives same output,

i didn't make my own screenshot but someone in cp (HAAAANK) comments posted same error Uploaded Image

Thank you,
Legosi

one thing to note, that i dont see rob mention.
the install path, if you changed the name in any way,
do make sure its the same as where its installed!
i.e. download says "cyberpunk 2077.v2-10.alldlc"
but (IF) you changed it to "cyberpunk 2077" make sure
the installer is seeing that as the path. (it may help to
sometimes make the path shorter as well!)

i do suggest changing the name in some cases,
so it says "game name version #" so your
sure what update you have, and possibly
make a folder for "GOG" "EPIC" "STEAM"
in the future for cracked releases.

as Rob stated, this went thru several versions,
which got hectic when others tried to install
a GOG update to a STEAM base etc.

😐❓

According to the torrent page for this game (See here) and the mirror links for this game (See the screenshot below) this is a P2P (Peer to Peer) release from an unspecified or unknown P2P cracker or P2P group.
😐

Note: For this game listing, I had to double check with both sources as the listed version of this game has gone through many changes over the nearly past four years (This game was released in December 10, 2020) since its original listing on this site. Initially, the listed game was the CODEX Scene release [Steam version] then after a few months as the dev studio, CD Projekt Red, frequently added more official updates (e.g. - Update v1.02 and upwards) in their "Upgrade roadmap" (See here) to their initial, official game release version v1.00 and then later updated the "main" (vs minor or mid-size "Update") version itself from version v1.xx to v2.00 and upwards to the current version v2.12a, things started to get very convoluted in the Scene as it was becoming difficult for the Scene groups to keep up with [cracking] the frequent official updates being released by CD Projekt Red. As such, the decision was made on this site to switch to the DRM-free [No cracking required], GOG version of the game. That went fine for a while as the official GOG version was able to keep up in pace with the frequency of the officially released updates (It probably was another matter to acquire the official GOG updates though, as CD Projekt Red went from version v2.00 to v2.01 ["Phantom Liberty" DLC released]). By that point in time, the decision was made yet again, to switch to another version of the game, namely, the P2P version with a few proprietary [custom made for IGG-Games.com] update installers ["Updaters" as you have referred to them] released exclusively on this site for the currently listed P2P version of this game to try to help ease the installation process of some "bundled" official updates for the members (This is just a summary history based on my recollection).

There may be some other facts that I may have unintentionally omitted as I did not thoroughly follow the entire history of this game's listing on this site - I had acquired the entirely officially patched GOG version of this game via other means which I cannot reveal in keeping with this site's rules. Believe me, it was also no "picnic" for me to try to keep that version entirely patched to the latest version v2.12a as well! whether you go with the Steam or the GOG version, it was a nightmare for anyone to try to keep up with CD Projekt Red's Update roadmap unless you had paid for the legitimate [retail] version of the game on Steam or GOG which allowed easy access to all of the updates as they were being rolled out. Now that this game has reached the end of the update roadmap (See here), anyone who has just happens upon this game for the first time for downloading purposes, can just download the fully patched game without having to have endured all of the update headaches that the rest of us who have followed this game faithfully since Day One, had to endure, just to reach this point as long as he/she just downloads and installs the currently listed base game and the currently listed updates all in the order as they are listed on this game's page!).

After reading your entire comment, I believe that there are multiple issues with your situation that together, form one complex problem, so, I will try to assist you with each issue separately, to the best of my knowledge.

"... i assume i need to download the first update then the second etc.?"

The updates can be downloaded in any order that you wish but they must be installed in the order as they are listed within this game's page. In this case, after you have installed the currently listed version v2.10 of the base game with its already included DLCs (See the below screenshot) in this game's page you would then need to first install the currently listed Update v2.11, then install the currently listed Update v2.12 and then finally, install the currently listed Update v2.12a. The currently listed Updates are meant for the currently listed version of the base game. Do not try to install the currently listed Updates onto any previously [Now deleted] listed versions of this game that you may have already downloaded in the past and installed [eg. - The CODEX Scene release version of the official Steam release or another, earlier P2P release version of the official Steam release. The currently listed updates will not work on the previously listed GOG version of this game] (If the version of the game that you downloaded is no longer listed then DO NOT try to install the currently listed updates onto that previously listed version of the base game as unexpected problems may arise. Again, once you have downloaded all of the files [parts] for the base game and Updates that are currently listed on this game's page (The separate language packs are optional if you will only use the default English as the language for this game) then install them in the order as they appear in this game's page.

"... it made some back-up after the first updater so i 'rolled it back' and ... i get this window that says "Woah! cyberpunk has flatlined" ... Roosevelt asked this guy what .exe he launched up, so i assumed i run wrong .exe but either of them gives same output, ..."

After you supposedly rollbacked the changes made by the first "updater" [Installer for Update v2.11] to your previously downloaded [Not the currently listed] version of the game (You wrote "... now my game's broken and i currently download it all again." - I'm not clear as to whether you are still downloading the currently listed version and have rollbacked the game from Update v2.11 after installing it on top of your previously downloaded version [Not the currently listed version that you are still downloading?] or are encountering the error window after rollbacking the changes made to the currently listed version by Update v2.11), it's not surprising that the official CD Projekt Red error Window would be displayed as probably some of the code changes that were made were not completely undone (Some of the files from the previous version may have been overwritten and were unrecoverable which subsequently caused problems that prevented your "rollbacked" game from launching properly), thus the official CD Projekt Red error Window was displayed. Just follow all of the instructions that I've mentioned above and you should not encounter this error window if you have downloaded all of the files for and will install, the currently listed base game and all of its updates in the order that they appear in this game's page. In any case, do not click on the "Send report" button as it would at least send your IP address along with the other information that the report collects to the CD Projekt Red support staff.

If member "justsomeasshole" (See his/her comment here) and you encountered the same error window then it is most likely that you both ultimately ran the same executable.

"... i didn't make my own screenshot but someone in cp (HAAAANK) comments posted same error"

It is not 100% clear to me whether you are encountering the error message in the custom IGG-Games.com installer for Update v2.11 while trying to update your previously downloaded version [Not the currently listed version] or while trying to update the currently listed version that you have recently downloaded.

If the former is the case then again, follow the entire instructions that I have mentioned above for the currently listed base game and the currently listed Updates. If the latter is the case then please first delete your "nuked", installed copy of the game and then copy the backup copy of the game into installed game's original location (You wrote "...also it made some back-up after the first updater ..."), launch the custom IGG-Games.com installer for Update v2.11 but do not click on the "Start" button immediately. Next, ensure that the "Save Backup", "Save Log" and "Verify Hash" checkboxes located to the right of the "Start" button are checked (If you believe that you will not have enough free space for the custom installer to create yet another backup copy of the game then delete the backup copy that is in its original location (I don't know whether the installer will automatically delete the backup copy that it had made in the previous run or if it will try to make another backup in a subsequently created, new subfolder as I did not work on the custom installer project).

[Note: Continued from the previous reply comment.]

Afterwards, click on the "Start" button. Once the installation process has progressed to the point where it fails, exit the installer and try to locate the log file that was saved in the installed game's folder(?). The saved log file should also contain the results of the verification process of each game file's checksum hashes, so you will just need to find the log file. Once you have the log file, open it with Notepad, copy its entire contents (Please do not leave anything out) and then paste its entire contents into a reply comment, so that I and/or IGG-Games.com [Admin] can examine it. If the contents can't fit into a comment (i.e. - Its character count is larger than the maximum amount of characters allowed by FastComments within a comment) then please try to copy and paste the entire text inside the [text?] file onto a site like Pastebin or Pastebin.ai and then provide a link to your paste so that I and/or IGG-Games.com [Admin] can examine it. I may not know entirely what the contents may be saying since I didn't work on designing and/or creating the custom IGG-Games.com installer but the text within may provide a clue as to what is probably going on, in order to ultimately formulate a possible solution for your problem (That log file is usually meant for IGG-Games.com [Admin]'s eyes, as he worked on the custom IGG-Games.com installer project, to analyze and debug).

Based on the error message displayed in the error messagebox generated by the custom installer, it appears that you do not have the required [latest] version v2.10 of the base game installed on your hard drive. You need to download and install the latest version of this game that is listed in this game's page before you try to run this custom installer for Update v2.11.

As the first step towards possibly resolving your problem, I hope that all of this helps you~!

I have the original 1.00 version you guys released and I got pretty close to the end before taking a very long break. My friend was telling me how it was on PlayStation+ and it made me want to play again. Booting it up, it was randomly switched to Japanese. I got that fixed. However, I crash out if I alt-tab or try to change it to windowed mode. Below I have the error message. Any ideas without updating to 1.03? As far as I remember, other than the Buster Sword bug, there's no reason to update.

Usually, whenever a newer version of a game is listed in an existing game page and the older version is deleted, there is no more support offered for the older version of the given game. As newer versions are released, bugs that are encountered in the older version may or may not be already fixed by either an update from the game's dev or a workaround created from within the given game's user community. That is why it is usual practice for support for the older version to be ended once it has been replace with a newer version. Like the old saying goes, "Why reinvent the wheel?"
😐

However, I searched the 'Net and was able to find a report on Reddit about this same exact error for the cracked version of this game. Unfortunately, no resolution for this problem was available (See Reddit page here).

I also searched this game's Steam Discussion pages and was able to find a report of this problem for the legitimate [retail] version of this game by Steam user "Cody" (See post #16 here). It appears that there is a bug with the legitimate version of the game that causes the "ALT + Tab" crash if the game is played with a controller. I performed some further searching of the original FFVII (Not remake) game's Steam Discussion pages and found a report of the "ALT - Tab" crashing error that was encountered (See here). In the original (Not remake) version of the game, the problem is caused when the game is switched back while an XBox 360 controller is automatically turned off. Turning the controller back on before switching back to the game appears to resolve the problem in the original version of the game. This effect may have been carried over to the remake version of the game).

Returning to the remake version, Steam user "matthew" replied (See post #22) that he resolved the problem by going into the Steam settings and disabling Steam input, [saving the settings, exiting the game, restarting the game] and playing a new game session (Note: Steam user "matthew" also stated that he is aware of the "ALT - Tab" bug and that he plays in fullscreen mode without encountering this problem. He also mentioned that this problem occurred in earlier versions of this game whenever gameplay with a controller is involved). Of course, this does not apply to the cracked version of the game as Steam input would have already been disabled.

If you are using a controller then try to ensure that the controller is turned on before switching back to the game (This re-establishes the key bindings). Also, try playing this game only in fullscreen mode (As the error message says that you were doing around the time of the crash just prior to switching to windowed mode, "(Size= 1280x720 Fullscreen=1 ...") and do not switch to windowed mode (If you feel the need to switch to another application then first save your game, exit the game and then perform the switch - Yes, I know that it sounds like the old Henny Youngman joke "The patient says, 'Doctor, it hurts when I do this.' The doctor says, 'Then don't do that!'" but that appears to be the prevailing, available solution).

If the above does not resolve your problem then upgrade to the latest version v1.03 of the game as there are no member reports, so far, in the comments part of this game's page about encountering the "ALT- Tab" problem.

I hope that this helps you~!

Hey ho. I'm wondering, every time i check something related to cracked games (for mod issues for example) whenever somebody even mentioned downloading from IGG (almost all of those are from like 3-4 years ago) always somebody replied "dont use igg, it's not safe" like i've been using it for a long time, getting my favourite games everytime not even once i got any malware. Or do people are mistaken by false-positives from av? like i'm just curious why do people hate on such great AND safe site

To create a new [alias?] FastComments account, visit the FastComments "Login" page here. In that "Login" page, type in a new Username and eMail address. The system will check whether the information that you provide already exists in its records and if not then it will create a new account for you.

If you wish to try to recover your old FastComments account, contact Devon, the FastComments administrator and try to explain your situation (You may need to provide some information, like the email address that you used to register your old account, in order to verify that you are the actual owner of your old account). His eMail address is dwinrick@fastcomments.com.

Also, if by "old account" (I noticed that your current "RageKillia" account is about two years old), you mean your Disqus account then that is unrecoverable for all intents and purposes on this site, as the Disqus user commenting system is no longer used by this site since it was replaced by the FastComments system a little more than two years ago. However, if you wish to recover your Disqus account for use on this site's sister site "PCGamesTorrents" which still uses Disqus then try to contact IGG-Games.com [Admin]. I cannot speak for other warez sites but the continued existence of this site is determined by the monthly revenue that is generated from the display of third party ads. Thus access to the mirrored link(s) for the "part(s)" [WinRAR archive file(s)] of any given game which is | are stored on external, third party file hosters can only be obtained via "urlbluemedia.shop", the ad server that this site uses.

Try disabling your ad blocker before visiting this site. Ad blockers, whether built-into your browser, third party add-ons like Adblock Plus and UBlock or one provided by your VPN (If you use a VPN, it is probably built-into the VPN client application. Check your VPN's support site on how to disable their provided adblocker), tend to prevent this site or parts of this site, like the search engine or "urlbluemedia.shop" from functioning or being accessed properly (Also, as previously stated, the ads help to pay for the continued operation of this site. If you enjoy using this site and want to continue to see it remain online then please disable your ad blocker). You can always re-enable your ad blocker once you're done with your visit to IGG-Games.com).

I hope that this helps you~!

Since you have supposedly disabled all of your ad blockers, as far as you are aware of (some browsers like the "Brave" browser have built-in ad blockers that are not so easy to disable) and still can't establish a connection then you can try to "get down to the basics" in order to access this site and subsequently, "urlbluemedia.shop" by using a simple browser like Chromium, the base class, open source version of that family of browsers to which Chrome, Edge and Opera all belong (All of the other members of that family each add their own custom code to a copy [instance] of Chromium to make themselves distinct from the others [Each instance of Chrome, Edge or Opera belong to each of those respective child classes of the base class]).

Chromium builds only come in portable versions (There are no install versions available [No installation is required!]). You can download Chromium here (Click on the link under "Easy Point and Click for latest build:". You will be redirected to a new page. On the new page, click on the "downloadchromium" [one word] link). After downloading Chromium and extracting the contents of the downloaded .Zip archive into any folder, run Chromium (If applicable, do not use your VPN which temporarily assigns your machine an IP address from one of their servers [Along with its built-in ad blocker]. Just go online, for testing purposes, using your real IP address provided by your ISP) and then try to visit this site and subsequently, "urlbluemedia.shop". Do not install any third party browser add-ons like the Adblock Plus or UBlock adblocker! AFAIK, Chromium does not come with any built-in adblockers (Chrome, Edge and Opera each add their own adblockers).

I hope that this further helps you~!

Now I guess I found your cause. Are you using ESET? it always blocks the domain's script for 5s after a while (I mean the script to complete creating the download link). I reported this issue to ESET/AVAST a few times, then they fixed it. But after a while, it came back.

For now, try putting that domain on ESET's whitelist, and try F5 again in the browser to see if it works? If not, please let me know

The Update v1.106.148.1030 that is listed below the mirrored links to the spanned WinRar archive, is supposed to be used with the version of the game that is stored within that spanned WinRAR archive and not with earlier or different verisons of this game. If not, then download the currently listed version and then run update v1.106.148.1030 again to see whether the error is thrown again.

If you have downloaded the currently listed version of the game in this game's page then it is possible that the latest, listed Update v1.106.148.1030 is "nuked". I've just read the comments in the comments part of this game's page and it appears that some members are reporting that they are encountering an error after installing the latest update. Did you also apply the update's cracked files after running the update's installer? It's usually found in the "RUNE" folder within the WinRAR archive of the Update.

As the first step towards possibly resolving your problem, I hope that this helps you~!

😐❓

According to the torrent link for this game in the game's page, this game is a Scene release from the Scene group, "RUNE". According to this game's page, the listed game has been updated to version v1.1.3.1. (Via the four listed, separate updates).
😐

According to X-Rel, there were five releases by RUNE for this game (The first one is for the base game and the subsequent ones are for each of four, respective updates. See here). I checked each .NFO file for RUNE's respective five releases of this game but found no mention of any DLCs included with the base game or its updates (See the below screenshots).

You can try to download each separate update (Relatively small sized downloads) and check inside the "patchnotes.txt" file [Open it with Notepad or in the WinRAR GUI, select that file and then click on the "View" button] that should be included within a subfolder in each WinRAR archive for each update, to see whether any DLCs were included in a given update.

Do not be surprised if there are no DLCs included (I'm not saying that there aren't any but it is still a possibility since no DLCs were mentioned in any of RUNE's .NFO files for this game and its updates). Just because a DLC was already officially released in Steam doesn't necessarily mean that it is also already released in the Scene or P2P (Peer to Peer). It takes time to crack, test (To see whether a cracked DLC works with the cracked game executable, as per the Scene rulez) and then release the game DLC file(s).

I hope that this helps you~!

speedrun mode is indeed in the game.
as i just downloaded this not long ago.
2 weeks ago maybe. speedrun mode is listed as "DLC"
on steams dlc page for the game
but, i have not played much
since redownloading RDR2 recently.

the emu files stated its indeed the "PRE ORDER"
bundle so im pretty sure it has the DLC included.

Thank you. So it's an issue with my PC then. I tried redownloading it and still update 1.22 is crashing with the message

<ErrorMessage>Assertion failed: LeaderboardName.ToString() == FString(SteamUserPtr->GetLeaderboardName(CallbackResults.m_hSteamLeaderboard)) [File:D:/UnrealEngines/UnrealEngine/Engine/Plugins/Online/OnlineSubsystemSteam/Source/Private/OnlineLeaderboardInterfaceSteam.cpp] [Line: 755]</ErrorMessage>
I don't know why.. I just find it weird it's having issues with 1.22. and not 1.21.

You can try periodically checking this game's page for a possible, updated version of the base game in the future. Sometimes, a given game page may list an updated version of a base game without separate updates. Other than that, if you can, try installing the base game and all of the separate updates in another machine (eg. - A friend or relative's machine).

I wish you the best of luck with getting this game to run on any machine to which you may have access~!

About seven months ago, a compatibility issue between the then version v1.20.8 of the base game and the back then latest version Update v1.20.10, occurred (See here). The problem was resolved when IGG-Games.com [Admin] searched for and was able to acquire a copy of the base game that was compatible with the latest update at that time.

Since that time, it appears that the latest, listed base game has been updated yet again from v1.20.8 and the latest update is currently at Update 1.22.11 with only its previous, earlier update, Update v1.22, made available).

I will inform IGG-Games.com [Admin] about the incompatibility between the latest, listed base game and the latest, listed update. He will either try to find and acquire another copy of the base game and/or another copy of the latest Update to hopefully resolve this problem.

Please be patient as it may take some time for him to respond depending upon his busy schedule. He will either reply to my message (And in turn, I'll relay his response to you) or he will reply to you directly in this FAQ section.

I hope that this helps you~!

😐❓

According to the mirrored download links listed in this game's page, this game is a Scene release from the Scene group, "SiMPLEX". The game doesn't require a Steam account because "SiMPLEX" had cracked the DRM that was protecting this game.
😐

I searched the Steam Discussion pages for any user reports about a "black screen" encountered during runtime and found the following page here. The appearance of a "black screen" may be due to a bug with the legitimate [retail, not cracked] version of this game which would be inherited by the cracked version (Cracks are created to defeat the DRM protecting a given game so that the game is playable [without Steam, in this case]. They do not fix any inherent bugs within the program code of a game - That is the responsibility of the developer of a game).

In that page, Steam user "AsheR" reported encountering a "black screen" after launching the game (It is possible that the "black screen" encounter in both his and your cases are cause by the same source. In post #2 of that page, "AsheR" mentions that he is aware of [The "black screen" problem in] the "Genocide Ending" [Mouse over the "blacked out" text area in that post to see the hidden text]).

Go to the installed game's folder and try to find a file named "options.ini" (You may have to search through all of the subfolders in the installed game's folder, as the file might not be located in the root directory of that folder). Once found, open the file with Notepad and try to find the key called "AlternateSyncMethod" (In the main menu of Notepad, go to "Edit" > "Find...". The "Find" window will appear. In the "Find what:" textbox, type "AlternateSyncMethod" [Sans the quotes]). The key should be under the section called "[Windows]". Set the value of the "AlternateSyncMethod" key to 0 (i.e. - AlternateSyncMethod=0), save the change and then close the file. Afterwards, try running the game again to see whether the error persists.

I hope that this helps you~!

im not sure if it relates,
but did you check the pinned
comment on 7 days to die?

if so, and that did no good. may
i ask if your trying to launch it through
EAC or "anticheat" somehow?

is the game itself launching steam, or
you meant that you are?
the error your stating you get comes
from "EAC" trying to run, and connect to the net
(from what i can gather off google.)
or the game itself. you have to
have antivirus off when downloading,
extracting and installing.

but, its best to add exclusions to where your downloading
and installing CRACKED games/software.
i can only assume the antivirus software
took action without you knowing.

if for some reason this does open steam
which is rare, block it from connecting to
online services through firewall.
there are a few comments in
the games page that may help as well.

😐❓

According to the torrent page for this game (See here) this game is a Scene release from the Scene group, "CODEX".
😐

The UE-4 "fatal error" error is a generalized error thrown by the Unreal 4 engine to represent many specific but similar errors which may each have different causes. Was there some kind of error log [text?] file that was generated in the installed game's folder? It would help more towards resolving the problem, if it were possible to see the specific error that is being triggered as well as the rest of such a file's contents.
😐❓

First, try to ensure that you have the latest driver for your graphics card (Visit the official nVidia site here or the official AMD site here), the latest version of Microsoft DirectX supported by your graphics card and for your version of Windows (For DirectX 11 and below, see here. For DirectX 12, see here), the latest version of the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime (See here. Scroll down to where it says "Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022" and then click on the appropriate download link for your version of Windows) and the latest Microsoft .Net frameworks (See here) installed (Note: If need be, create a shortcut to this game's cracked executable, right click on the shortcut and select "Properties" in the Shortcut menu. The "Shortcut Properties" window will appear. In that window, in the "Target:" textbox, type the name of the game's cracked executable followed by the parameter "-DX11" or "-DX12" depending upon the version of Windows on your machine). Afterwards, try running the game again to see whether the problem still persists.

If that doesn't resolve the problem then try to find the error log file (if any) that was generated (It may have a file extension like ".log" or ".txt" or possibly even have no file extension. You may have to search through all of the subfolders in the installed game's folder, as the file might not be located in the root directory of that folder) and then try to open the [text?] file with Notepad, copy its entire contents (Please do not leave anything out) and then paste its contents into a reply comment, so that I can examine it. If the contents can't fit into a comment (i.e. - Its character count is larger than the maximum amount of characters allowed by FastComments within a comment) then please try to copy and paste the entire text inside the [text?] file onto a site like Pastebin or Pastebin.ai and then provide a link to your paste so that I can examine it. I may not know exactly what the contents may be saying since I didn't work on this game or any other game but the text within may provide a clue as to what to being searching for in order to ultimately formulate a possible solution for your problem (That error log file is usually meant for the eyes of the devs who worked on a given project, to analyze and debug).

Additionally, you can also try the suggestion offered by member "Rulorn" in the comments part of this game's page (See here) to try to resolve this problem.

As the first step towards possibly resolving your problem, I hope that this helps you~!

14 Minesweeper Variants has a problem
I will paste here someone else's comment to better describe the issue

"As soon as you satisfy the unlock condition for any of the unlockable categories (except [?]), game crashes and can't launch again. Going into the save file and manually deleting the last completion record from there (of the puzzle completing which would unlock a category but crashed the game) allows the game to open again. But you can never complete that last puzzle which would unlock a category, and therefore no additional categories are available (except [?])"

Is there a way to fix this problem

😐❓

According to the torrent page for this game (See here) this game is a P2P (Peer to Peer) release from an unspecified or unknown P2P cracker or P2P group.
😐

At fist glance, based on all of the available comments in the comments part of this game's page, it appears that the crack that was used for this game was nuked. However, after searching this game's Steam Discussion pages using the criteria "crashes after unlocking a category" (See here), it can be seen that this is actually a bug with the legitimate [retail, not cracked] version of this game (See Steam user "mrk111"'s posted report here). This bug appears to occur if the locale of the machine on which this game runs is not set to English (See "mrk111"'s post #8 in that linked page).

Try temporarily setting the locale of your machine to English and then try running this game again to see whether the error still persists (To change your machine's locale in Windows, go to "Control Panel" > "Clock, Language, and Region" and then click on the "Change display language" link. The "Region and Language" windows will appear. Go to the "Keyboards and Languages" tabbed page and select "English" in the "Choose a display language:" dropdown control. Next, click on the "OK" button and then restart Windows [Requires a reboot of your machine]).

I hope that this helps you~!

After an extensive investigation, IGG-Games.com [Admin] has responded to my message today (See the below screenshot). The listed version of the game in this game's page is the legitimate [retail] version that he personally bought from Steam and "cracked" [So to speak] using a Steam Client emulator like SmartSteamEMU (See here) or the Goldberg Emulator (See here). Therefore, the problem is most likely a bug that the dev must fix (As per our discussion above).

You can try monitoring this game's Updates page on Steam (See here) for any news from the dev about whether this bug has been fixed. Once it has been fixed, you can post an "Update" request for this game in the Game Request section.

I hope that the dev resolves this problem ASAP~! In the meantime, you'll just have to be patient. Like the old saying goes "Good things are worth the wait."

Well, actually I’ve requested the new version before (and indeed it’s the newest version now) and the version still contains the bug, while the other players from the Steam side reported nothing about it, and with all the available cracked versions I can find all have the same bug, I’ve doubted that it’s the cracking process that does some harm to the game contents,(otherwise the players from Steam would already argue about it) and if the game’s sequel would still fail at the same position. I guess I’ll be checking more.
Good luck and thank you :)

The crackers only try to look for and edit code that may possibly belong to any DRM that may be protecting a given game from being properly executed and not the actual game code itself. What you described about what you've observed with all of the cracks in the cracked versions that you've come across, may be a copy protection scheme that the DRM has enabled in response to detecting each crack.

Hmm ... Well, since your comment here in this FAQ section and all of the comments in this game's page gathered from the two members' "xml123" and "It's a great game, hope this can be fixed", all report encountering this same error, perhaps IGG-Games.com [Admin] can try to find a copy of this game where this "Crash occurs after unlocking a category" problem does not occur (It may not be as easy a task as it sounds since we have seen on the Steam Discussion page that this is a bug in the legitimate game that needs to be fixed by the dev and cracked games inherit whatever Pros, like new features and Cons, like bugs from the legitimate [retail] game). I'll inform IGG-Games.com [Admin] about the situation and leave it to him to further investigate this issue and try to resolve it.

Please be patient as it may take some time for him to respond depending upon his busy schedule and whether he can find an error-free copy of this game (Perhaps a different version, either earlier or a more recent one that does not have this problem?). When he is ready, he will either reply to my message (And in turn, I'll relay his response to you) or he will reply to you directly in this FAQ section.

I hope that this further helps you~!

According to the torrent link for this game (See here, this game is a P2P (Peer to Peer) release by the [famous/infamous, depending upon each individual's opinion] P2P cracker, "Empress" (See here).

I searched the 'Net for any user reports of this problem with "The Vanishing" DLC but found none. I searched Reddit and was able to find a page where Reddit user "Baltazarvide" reported that some DLC items were not showing (He did not specifically mention the problem occurring with "The Vanishing" DLC though) which was confirmed by posts from other Reddit users, however, no solution was provided (See here). I also searched the Steam Discussion pages of this game for any user reports of "DLC items not showing or saved" to no avail (See here). Finally, I also read the comments in the comments part of this game's page but did not notice any member's comments about this problem.

Unfortunately, without any further information that could possibly provide a clue as to the source of this problem, it is unknown whether the installation of the HD textures pack would resolve this problem.

You can try installing the base game with the Vanishing DLC on another machine to see whether the problem also occurs. By using the "Process of elimination", you can try to see whether the problem may be due to a configuration problem with your original machine (IF the problem is not duplicated on the other machine) or whether the problem possibly originates with EMPRESS's release of this game (Again, no other member on this game's page mentioned this problem). If the problem is not duplicated on the other machine then follow your suspicions and try downloading the 52.52GB HD textures pack, applying it to the base game with the DLC and then try to see whether that resolves the problem. Please let us all know here what happens, if you do decide to go with this route. Your reply may help other members who may possibly encounter this same problem!

I hope that this helps you~!

I saw the definitive edition was on sale for $30, so I just picked it up. From what it looks like, the IGG version is missing some armor, weapons, cars, roosters, and other items like Lost between Worlds. I think that the crack was made before those were released, and Far Cry 6 wasn't updated. It doesn't even register Lost between Worlds as a missing DLC. I think its more of an issue of not having those items in the first place, rather than it being added in the HD texture pack.

According to SrrDB, Empress released "Far Cry 6" on August 21, 2023 (See here and the first screenshot below). According to Steam, the base game (See here) and its earlier DLCs including the "Lost Between Worlds" DLC (See here) were released simultaneously on May 11, 2023. However, the Empress .NFO file does not mention that the release includes the earlier DLCs (See the second screenshot) and only states the name of the game.

Thus, it can only be inferred that the base game was included in this release but not necessarily any DLCs including the "Lost Between Worlds" DLC. Based upon Empress' past behavior in the P2P community, it can be concluded that unless someone also pays Empress for cracking any DLCs along with a given base game then only the base game will be cracked and included in a release. If any DLCs are found in any of Empress' releases that are not mentioned in a given release's .NFO file then chalk it up to Empress being "generous" in that given release.

Also, if you get this exact, same Empress release from IGG-Games.com or any other warez site, the results will be the same. This site does not purposefully exclude any "part(s)" [DLC(s)] of a given game release. Whatever is released by the Scene or P2P is exactly what will be listed on this site as well.

All of this is moot though, since you've already purchased the entire, legitimate [retail] Definitive Edition package that includes the base game and all of its DLCs.

Well, like the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for" [Especially with Empress]~! In all fairness though, Empress is not known for having a "Day job" and only does what she does [cracking warez] "for a living" (Read her entire .NFO file), so her behavior might be understandable, given the circumstances.

Hello,
I'm having trouble running the Nancy Drew: Secret of the Old Clock game.

Crimson tried it on his end and it works, but I'm getting the "Unable to open CAL or CIF TREE file: Unable to open CAL or CIF TREE file: . Check the path in your .ini file" Error. He suggested these steps which I followed but no luck:

1 - Uninstall and/or delete everything from this game (and re-download the original ".rar" file from IGG-Games if you no longer have it).
2 - Create a unique folder on your drive's root (example "C:\NancyDrewGames").
3 - Decompress the game from the ".rar" mentioned on Step 1 into the folder you just created.
4 - Right-click the main ".exe" file and choose "Run as administrator".Uploaded Image

I searched the 'Net for any user reports of this error and found a page on "Fixya" where user "justijl" reported that she/he had encountered the same error when trying to start the game (See here).

First, try to ensure that your machine meets the minimum requirements to play this game. The game's minimum requirements as noted in this game's Steam page (See here) are:

OS: ................. Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista
CPU: ............... 400 MHz CPU
Memory: ....... 64MB RAM
Graphics: ...... 16-bit DirectX compatible video card
DirectX: .......... version 8.0 or higher
Hard Drive: ... 300MB of free space
Sound: ........... 16-bit DirectX compatible sound card

If your machine does not have the required minimum hardware and support software then try installing this game on a machine that meets the minimum hardware and software requirements.

If your machine has the required minimum hardware but not, or if you're unsure about, the support software then try to ensure that you have the latest driver for your graphics card (Visit the official nVidia site here or the official AMD site here), the latest version of Microsoft DirectX supported by your graphics card and for your version of Windows (For DirectX 11 and below, see here. For DirectX 12, see here), the latest version of the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime (See here. Scroll down to where it says "Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022" and then click on the appropriate download link for your version of Windows) and the latest Microsoft .Net frameworks (See here) installed.

If you do not have a dedicated sound card, do not worry. Most modern computer motherboards have a built in audio chipset that emulates at least a "SoundBlaster 16" 16-bit sound card. Check your motherboard's manual for detailed information and check your motherboard manufacturer's website for the latest available audio driver download for your computer's motherboard.

If your machine has the required minimum hardware and support software then try checking the quarantine section of your AntiVirus application and see whether any new files like the "CAL", "CIF TREE", the cracked game executable and/or any cracked support files (eg. - library files [".dll"s] like "steam_api.dll", "steam_api64.dll" or any other executables [".exe"s]) for the game's executable that were originally located in the installed game's folder, are now being held inside. If they are then temporarily disable the real time protection of your AntiVirus, restore each file to its original location in the installed game's folder, add each file into the exclusion list of your AntiVirus and then re-enable the real time protection of your AntiVirus. Also, try checking your firewall to see whether it is blocking access to or from the "CAL" or "CIF TREE" file. If either one or both of those files are being blocked by your firewall then grant full access to and from the affected file(s).

Afterwards, try running the game again to see whether the error still occurs.

As the first step towards possibly resolving your problem, I hope that this helps you~!

In the future, please ensure that any text within any comment that you post is in English as English is my first language and I need to first translate the given text that is in any other language, into English using Google Translate. This results in unnecessary delays towards possibly resolving your problem in an expedient manner (Please see the section called "Optional" here).

I understand your legitimate concerns about protecting minors from the unwanted exposure to the R18, mature, adult content that can be found in games that are tagged as belonging to the "Nudity" genre.

Perhaps a new setting, facilitated by a checkbox or some other GUI control, in the "MyAccount" page of the third party, "FastComments" user commenting system that this site uses, can be created that will allow any registered member to legally self-signify that they are over 18 and can thus legally have access to view the R18, mature, adult content in the games that are tagged with the "Nudity" genre (Once a member has self-signified that they are over 18, the site would not be legally held responsible for the display of any R18, mature, adult content). The "Nudity" genre games could be automatically hidden from any visitor who has not logged onto this site (i.e. - Any unregistered, "outside" visitor) or any registered member who has logged onto this site but has not self-signified in his/her FastComments "MyAccount" page that he/she is over 18.

The other part necessary to implement this feature would require the contracting of a web developer to enhance and modify this site's code base to read the new setting in FastComments saved for each logged in member's "MyAccount" page and then either display or hide those games that are tagged as belonging to the "Nudity" genre (Unfortunately, no one on the staff is a web developer and funding for the creation of this new feature depends upon the variable, remaining monthly revenue generated from the displayed ads after the monthly, server maintenance costs, third party file hosting costs, Cloudflare internet security costs and FastComments services costs have been covered as well as other minor, monthly costs).

You can contact IGG-Games.com [admin] and inform him of your concerns about this issue for his consideration. In your message, be sure to include a link to this possible solution, if you find it satisfactory or if you have another solution then by all means, let him know about it (To a link to this possible solution, mouse over to the Datetime stamp in this reply message, right click and then select the "Copy Link" option in the shortcut menu. I tried to update the Artifact Seeker game to version 1.1.2, I downloaded the file and updated the game correctly via TENOKE, the game starts but a bundle repeatedly appears that says "remember to update the game to the latest version". I've tried several times but it keeps giving me this problem and I don't know what to do, please help me, thanks.

ps. the problem must be with updating to version 1.1.2 before the game ran.

I gave it a try, and it worked just fine.
all i did was ran the "base" then
ran the game itself to see if it opened.
took the update, ran the patch installer,
and allowed it to find the place i installed
the base game bc without doing so, its
installing an update to nowhere!

then opened the game, and found it had been
updated correctly. so, when your updating
make sure you hit "browse, then manually select
where you installed the base game!"
also, keep antivirus off, and add an exlusion
to where cracked games are installed
and downloaded.

Do you mean this game here? In the future whenever querying for information about a game or asking for help with a problem encountered with a game, please also include a link to the page on IGG-Games.com where the game which you are inquiring about or experiencing a problem with, can be found (aka the "game page"). This is to help me to better help you by expediting the process for me to try to answer your query or to find a solution for your problem. Please see "item 1" here for more information. Also, did you mean to write "window" instead of "bundle"?
😐❓

According to the mirrored download links listed in this game's page, this game is a Scene release from the Scene group, "TENOKE".

It is usual practice, after installing a given game (Some games may require installation while others that are already pre-installed before being packed into a WinRAR archive, do not) or game update, to copy the contents from the game's or game update's cracked files folder (If it exists, it may be named as "TENOKE", "crack", "fix" or yet something else. It is usually a folder that is separate from the game's or game update's installer and its support file(s) [eg. - A .bin file]) into the installed game's folder. If asked to overwrite any files, click on the "Yes" button. Afterwards, try running the updated game again.

I hope that this helps you~!

Try disabling your ad blocker before visiting this site. Ad blockers, whether built-into your browser, third party add-ons like Adblock Plus and UBlock or one provided by your VPN (If you use a VPN, it is probably built-into the VPN client application. Check your VPN's support site on how to disable their provided adblocker), tend to prevent this site or parts of this site, like the search engine or "urlbluemedia.shop", the ad server that this site uses, from functioning or being accessed properly (Also, the ads help to pay for the continued operation of this site. If you enjoy using this site and want to continue to see it remain online then please disable your ad blocker). You can always re-enable your ad blocker once you're done with your visit to IGG-Games.com).

I hope that this helps you~!

I'm sorry but somehow I missed noticing your belated reply three days afterwards down here (The traffic of new questions from other members above in this FAQ section kept me busy and sometimes replies to past, already responded to [by me] questions from the OP that do not immediately follow my reply after more than a day, tend to get "Lost in the shuffle" during the busy chaotic period that follows afterwards. BTW, you should not have to disable your AntiVirus or firewall whenever visiting any site. Those actions are not recommendable as it would leave your machine vulnerable to attacks from viruses and malware that can be found on any infected site that you may happen upon (Not that this site is one of those sites)!

Anyway, I see that Craxton was able to assist you in my stead (I'll show him my appreciation for his assistance down below). I'm glad to hear that your problem is now resolved.

what browser are you using?
if you are 100% sure you disabled
adblock (and not just saying so)
your browser depending on what
it is
may have a heavy ad block built in.

i.e. brave will block ads on its own,
unless you turn it off or tell it to allow on
specific pages.. either way, if your blocking
ads on bluemedia url youll never
get to the link. if your already downloading
stuff, and utilizing most of your bandwidth already,
then youll wanna try again later.

as it wont be able to load it fully.

load the link incognito mode
that should bypass whatever
you installed, and if it works.
disable 1x1 each extension you installed
until you can see the link proper.

this is what you should see without
having "adblockers" turned on.

Uploaded Image

even if i cut the image to block
my bookmarks and adblockers
you should still see the ads
at the side. so, would you mind
showing a screenshot of the full
image?

one question, may be I got it wrong, when the countedown goes to Zero where should I look for the link (in the past the link was auto matically relfected after countdown ends)?

the links there, look close behind the top ad
at the bottom of the page.
click around on the page to allow it to
do its "ad thing" then close out the
page it opens in a new tab.
then hit "THE X AT THE TOP RIGHT"
of that AD. youll be happy after that ;)

PS forget edge, chrome, and firefox.
get brave and make it your own.
i suspect youll thank me for suggesting
it ;)

According to the mirrored download links listed in this game's page, this game is a release from the venerable Scene group, "Razor1911".

I'm not aware of exactly what you've already tried but you can try creating a batch file in the installed game's folder and inside of the batch file, type one of the following commands:

START < The full name of the cracked game's executable with its file extension > -vr -HmdEnable 1
OR
START < The full name of the cracked game's executable with its file extension > -vr -Hmd=OculusHMD

, save the batch file and then try to launch the game using the batch file. You can also try to make a shortcut to the cracked game's executable and in the shortcut's "Target:" textbox, type either one of the above commands without the "START" command. Afterwards, try launching the game using the shortcut.

Also, I'm not sure whether the problem might originate with the USB 3.0 to USB-C cable that you're using in place of the official Occulus Link cable (I don't have a dedicated VR headset and any official or not, USB 3.0 to USB-C cable with which to experiment) - Some people say that any generic USB 3.0 to USB-C cable or any specialized, "Link" compatible cable will work while others say that it will work instead of the official, expensive "Link" cable but just not as well [In terms of compatibility with some legitimate (aka. retail) games] (See the post by user "Kercheiz" and the post by user "Dunx" here. Just search for their usernames on that linked page. I can't link directly to their posts since FastComments has reserved the hash tag character [Number sign] followed by any alphabetical character, for use by other client companies as an actual hashtag word. Devon, the FastComments admin, has allowed any hash tag character followed by any numeric character to be used as a reference link in the comments on this site though. Unfortunately that forum page uses a hash tag character followed by "comment-" and then the number of the post, as a reference link).

Alternatively, you can try to launch this game and stream it wirelessly to/from your headset/PC using [commercial, not freeware] Virtual Desktop Streamer (See the following article here. At the time of writing of that linked article, the application was freeware but is now commercial - You'll have to try to find a cracked version on a warez [appz] site).

I hope that all of this helps you~!

EDIT: for those who may be smart enough
to search this page, and have "VR" issues
with Quest 2, or otherwise. Make sure
you add STEAM VR app to your steam
library otherwise......youll end up not
running it in VR (as the commands mentioned
did not work (for me). but i did end up
in the game with "TRUE" VR via steam.
dont remember how i did it, as i got
lucky
either way, doing it wireless drains
battery FAST! (reddit is where i got
the info to help me.) to which, you must
read further down in the comments
to find the answer to get it going
proper. as this was my first time
using a PC game for VR!

i tried "part" of the options you gave
here although only half were used as
some of the "command" were not
mentioned from where i obtained the info
to try launching this game.

And although my cable isnt a link
cable, i did indeed manage a cable that
has 3.0 capabilities. but i was still only able to
see the game in vr (in desktop link mode)
and not actually play proper. not with controllers
nor did looking around with the headset do anything.
So id have to assume its from not having the full
command you mentioned in your batch file.

ill indeed give this a try, and update this comment
to if it worked or not. for atm, im not home so
i cannot try and see if itll work proper.

unless im supposed to use KB&M and just
use the headset as a monitor and that is the "VR"
experience for this game.
although that would be
strange. anyways, thank you for the options
to try, and your assistance Rob.

Looking at your folder name, I guess you downloaded the version a few days ago (currently I have re-uploaded the TENOKE version, offline).

But with your version, you have to start Steam before starting the game, because you can play multiplayer (BTW, I'm not sure if this version still works now, since it connects to dev's server, so if they fixed it, it doesn't work)

Hello, I want to know in what folder goes my saves.

There is no universal filepath for where the save game file(s) for any given game may be located.

Both IGG-Games.com [Admin] and SCPInfinty are correct in what they have noted. The save game location depends upon the given game. The save game file(s) for a given Steam [and any other game store other than GOG] or GOG game may be located under a subfolder under the "\Users\ < Your Windows login name > \AppData\local\ ..." filepath or it could be located in a subfolder under the installed game's folder (Not necessarily directly under the installed game's root folder. It may or may not be buried under a lengthy filepath).

You can try searching sites like "Trainers City" (See here) for the possible save game location (Note: More than one Scene group may release different or in some rare cases, the same, versions of a given game but the save game location in each group's release may be different from the other as the Scene groups compete against each other for status and fame in "The Scene" and thus do not share any information like the save game location of their cracked game releases prior to the time of the cracked game release with any other groups) of a given cracked Steam, Epic Games, Ubisoft Store, ... etc. [Not GOG] game (e.g. - The location of the save game file(s) for the cracked version of "Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous" can be found here).

For Games sold on GOG (Note: All GOG Games are DRM-free so, there is no copy protection that needs to be cracked in order for a game to be playable), you can try to search "PCGamingWiki" (See here) for the save game location for any given legitimate (retail) GOG game (e.g. - The location of the save game file(s) for the GOG version of "Resident Evil" can be found here).

I hope that this helps you~!

The vast majority of game saves will saved in appdata "Local" (You can type Windows + R to open run, then type in "%appdata%" to head to the "appdata" folder, then go a folder backwards and find Local).

Some other games may save their files into the actual game directory themselves. For example, games that use Renpy will often save their save files into Game Directory > game > saves, and you can edit the file by putting it into an online save editor, such as the one Here

Keep in mind that not all save files are able to be edited if that is your goal, as they can be encrypted.
For any other questions, feel free to ask

it depends on each game, or each crack used for that game... In general there is no general formula at all. You can post questions in those game articles, or here. If anyone has played the game they can tell you

In reading your posted comment, it appears that you actually have one question on your mind and two statements which you have voiced. I'll try to address each in turn as it appears that you have hastily written your question and two statements in a moment of frustration which unfortunately, makes some of them appear unclear.

"Do you guys plan to keep the request section for the sake of keeping requested games? because most of majority of the requesting are frequently being ignored a lot ( including me ) , ..."

While it may appear to you that your and some other members' requests are being deliberately ignored, that is not the case. You may or may not be aware of the fact that IGG-Games.com [Admin] is solely responsible for reviewing requests. However, he can only do so within the varying, limited time that he has available within sporadic days of each given week (Please see here for more information about what is involved within his weekly schedule). If he does not reply to your request the first, second, third, ... Nth time around then do not take it as a personal affront towards you and instead, try posting your request again 24 hours after the posted datetime of your previous request.

Please realize that not every member's request at any given time whenever requests are reviewed, will actually be reviewed. Just because a member posts a request does not guarantee that his/her request will definitely be reviewed, as the sheer volume of requests posted within any given 24 hour period is just too great for any one person to process. Like the old saying goes, "Nothing in life is guaranteed except death and taxes."
😐

"... I feel like we needing more than having 1 section for issue a certain can solve one's problem so i keen on to have more than one section for keeping tab of thing such as , corrupted links , old dated games ( circa 2014 or so )."

I'm unclear as to what you are actually stating. It appears that you are actually making two statements that are somehow merged together into one large incoherent statement.

Are you stating that in your opinion, there needs to be another FAQ section for members to post their questions [concerning problems with a game that is listed on this site or with how certain aspect(s) of this site is administered] in the hopes that such problems can be resolved? Are you also stating that this site needs a section devoted for keeping track of "things" such as corrupted [Did you actually mean to write down/non-working/dead instead?] links and old, dated games circa 2014 and so on, going forwards or backwards in time?
😐❓

If this is the case, then you can contact IGG-Games.com [Admin] and voice both of your concerns to him directly. His Proton Mail address is listed on this site's donation page. If this is not the case then please re-word both of your statements in a reply comment so that they are clear.

I hope that all of this helps you~!

Please see here for all that is known about this subject thus far.

As for the "who" part of your somewhat unclear question - Are you asking who among the staff members are awarding the new badges or who among the non-staff members have already been awarded the new badges? If you're asking about the former then see the previously linked comment again. If you're asking about the latter then I don't know whether a list of such non-staff members will ever be compiled and made public somewhere on this site as maintaining such a dynamic list would be a time consuming task that the staff probably does not have the free time to undertake in addition to their current workload.

As for the "why" the new badges are awarded, only IGG-Games.com [Admin] knows and has not yet seen fit to having that information publicly released. He will probably release that information whenever he feels the time is right for doing so. As I wrote in the previously linked comment, you can try to ask IGG-Games.com [Admin] via email for the reasons "why" each new rectangular badge is being awarded. If you do find out then please let the rest of our community know here in this FAQ section.

I hope that this helps you~!

Also, do you actually mean that you have a problem launching the game rather than installing the game? You mentioned "launchpad" and "2KLauncher" - Never use the game dev | publisher's launcher as it will detect that the game is cracked.

I always can't find the game I want on this website. Do you have any search techniques?

VIPHelperRob Conner
Aside from performing a search by game title via this site's search engine, you can also try searching for a game by its genre as well using the "GENRE" dropdownlist located at the main menu on top of any page of this site (Note: The new genre of "Virtual Reality" games have their own menu option, called "VR", that is located to the right of the "GENRE" dropdownlist [option] on the main menu. Also, a given game may be listed under multiple genres, so you may have more than one opportunity to search under different genres for a given game which you are trying to seek).

While not as accurate and expeditious as an exact search based on a given game's title, a quasi-manual search based on a given game's genre may prove useful for locating a given game in cases where the game's exact title is not known (eg. - In cases where a game's title may be a combination of English and another language's characters arranged in any possible order or in cases where you are unsure as to the exact title of a game but have a general idea of what the title might be). Besides, you may come across other games belonging to the same genre as the given game which you seek that may also peak your interest - IMHO, it's a "fun" and possibly beneficial way (If you find even more games that may also be of interest) to try to find a given game which you seek, if you have the time to spare!

I hope that this helps you~!

I usually download from this website and have no detection scanning files and exes on virustotal.
this time I downloaded Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy and one of the crack dlls looks suspicious (never seen this much detection) so I want to know if this is false positive or not? https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/89ec842cd6d57d0d9df242f059449114e60e5450bbea51ce48fc4fd00e67fa39/detection

First, you should learn how to use virustotal again, do you see it says "Generic" , "GameHack"? It's a false positive, the method used to crack games is similar to the method used to code m-a-l-w-a-r-e! Anti-virus programs will detect the crack as a virus and delete it, even though it isn't! :)

***
Second, Is this your first time using pirate? It's okay, everyone has their first time, even me more than 10 years ago. I will be happy to guide you. You see the name of this release "Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy-CODEX", it's not mine, I just re-uploaded it from SCENE, in this case the CODEX team (you don't need to search their website, since it's not public on the internet, websites you find are known to fake and use the names of groups at SCENE).

What is Scene? you should search the wiki and google about this, they will explain it better than me. In general, the scene is decades old, certainly older than you (and me). It is completely safe. All the pirates you download from the internet, including movies, games, software,... are mostly leaked from the Scene.

When you download a game (or anything that comes from Scene) from sites like IGG, you can easily check the legitimacy of the file you downloaded. By using database sites taken from the scene, for example https://www.srrdb.com/browse/category:pc/order:date-desc/1,... You use tools like 7z, to check the file's HASH code, and match it with information from those web pages. If the hashes match, you are completely safe, and vice versa.

It has been known for quite some time, you are using ublock right?

That damn ublock is simply trying to stop pirate sites by blocking cloudflare (most websites use cloudflare these days). Ublock does this sometimes, then they turn them off, then on again,... simply to frustrate people from using sites like ours.

If you do not believe, try turning off ublock, you will see the website works completely normally. Or simply try complaining to them, they will say "ah, we made a mistake, we fixed it...".

although this is not my post,
it goes with whats being spoken on.

i have to disagree in some extent.
while i indeed use Ublock, fastforward,
and disconnect none of which are turned
on here anymore. and searching
for games like Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
come up a blank. searching in a private
window indeed yields the same results.
(i have 0 extensions allowed in private)
just for cases of "extensions breaking"
a site so i know where to look.

There are several assasins creed
games for instance that have this issue.
using the game list feature is one of the
only ways i could find AC Valhalla, syndicate,
and rogue was strange that it couldnt
be missing the apostrophe in the assassin(')s

there are others that dont come up in search
as well. but the assassins creed games were
the last thing i searched/downloaded.
so they were fresh in mind.

are there tags that are input when uploading?

The new, rectangular shaped badges (Or banners as you refer to them) like "Trusted", "Helper", "VIP", ... etc are manually awarded by the staff (Currently by IGG-Games.com [Admin] and supposedly, eventually in the future, by the Moderators) rather than automatically earned whenever a member reaches a certain criteria (i.e. - The "Citizen" badge is automatically awarded by the FastComments, user commenting system, to a member for posting 50 approved comments).

As for the exact criteria used to determine why you deserved to be manually awarded your new "Trusted" badge, you would need to consult with IGG-Games.com [admin] as the information concerning that and the other new badges has not yet been publicly released as the new badges are still being "Rolled out" (His Proton Mail address is listed on this site's donation page). If the information is revealed to you before any official announcement then please let the rest of our community know here in this FAQ section.

I hope that this helps you~!

Hello Rob,

thanks for telling!
I clicked on the tag and all it said was what you posted as a screenshot (badge can only be earned manually etc.).
I was just curious about it.
Better a "Trusted" badge than a ban, right? 🙂

Kind regards -

farm together 2 "save game wolds removing"
again with latest update.

the fix i shared 5 weeks ago no longer works,
per all the hate i got from a "user" claiming
i faked it or something..

considering i hadnt updated since the first
release, and i still had the first version that was uploaded
i shared the (original) game files, with the fix
i initially shared with it. via gdrive

as thats the easiest way to play without the game removing
your progress.

it seems every update creates the check
for cracked coding which from what i could understand
checks for "online play" to be working.

i do know "how" to remove this check,
but again. upon every update this will need
to happen unless online fix is implemented
as again, the only way to avoid the games "detection"
scanning is to have it "online/tricked" into thinking
its online.

Meh, don't get stressed over one "ingrate" after all of your hard work - There's always going be one of those among the legion of grateful members who appreciate all of your efforts!
🙄

I'm not surprised about what you're describing. If any dev studio strongly desires to protect its "intellectual property" then it will stop at no great lengths to do so. Look at the example in the applications market with Malwarebytes Anti-malware. The application is so highly sought after to be cracked (Any group that can create a "stable" [persistent among update versions] crack will earn great status like Gods among the cracking groups or individual crackers in the warez scene) that its devs regularly update the application, changing the code in its main executable with every new, frequently released [monthly or bi-monthly?] update so that cracking Malwarebytes for long term use is practically useless as each new update makes any previously working crack useless (A new, working crack may arise and last for a short while but it won't last long after a newer update to the application is released soon yet again - The frequency of updates is relatively high so as to allow the devs to stay "one step ahead" of the crackers)!

Also, Malwarebytes checks for cracks (See here) which includes ones made to crack Malwarebytes, itself (eg. - If you have a crack for Malwarebytes that turns the "Free" [shareware] version into the "Premium" [full] version, exclude the cracked application itself from malware scans and then perform a full scan of your machine, it won't detect the crack directly and then try to "call home" if you've blocked Malwarebytes with your firewall. However, by blocking it in your firewall, that means that you can't get any future malware signature updates which effectively renders the application useless over time as new malware is released.

In addition, there can be code inside the application that checks to see whether the application itself is excluded from scans and then tries to "Call home" once the application has been unblocked [eg. - You want to get the latest malware signatures, so you temporarily unblock Malwarebytes in your firewall in order for the update process to succeed - That leaves a "window" of time to allow it to "Call home" before it begins the actual update], so that Malwarebytes can get your actual, not VPN provided, IP address which they could then provide to your local authorities)! It's the dev studio's way of saying "No means No!" to those trying to crack and use its full version software without paying for it! There's nothing stopping any game dev studio from taking up the same "sneaky" practice, if they're really serious about protecting their software from pirating (Don't worry though, from what I've seen over the years, most game dev studios usually either don't have or want to devote the resources into making frequent updates just to protect their games from piracy and usually give up after their game has been cracked once or twice)!
😀 😉

i wont lie, he got under my skin
pretty hard for a bit. i later
after giving him a piece of my mind
shared a "working" version of the game.
but, even then. he refused to acknowledge it
By simply looking at this guys profile, his comments
mostly show the same thing thru out his time here.
being mostly negative towards cracks, releases, people
and or otherwise.

although this is a great example. i believe the code
is embedded into the game as the line needed
to be changed is the same line. it just reverts each time.
or i may had misunderstood what i was reading/studying at the time.
but it was stated that each time the game was updated
that the same line hexadecimalin the coding
was the same and the same line needing changed.
therefore making "online playability" the possible
solution since it would believe its online.

i tried but was unable to get the online functions
to work, then again. i never use online features
for cracked games anyways. but thats what i
was gathering from the info i was studying.

i do hope games dont take the same route
as malware bytes. although i dont use malware bytes.
it wouldnt be good for any of us pirates.

From your screenshot, I can see that the file name of the WinRAR archive is the same as the name of the WinRAR archive that is on the mirrored third party file hosters, "Rimworld1.5.4104.REV415.rar" , so it appears that you have the right game that's listed on this site. Inside the archive, those look like GOG version offline installer files as they follow the standard GOG file naming convention for a GOG offline installer: ("The title of the base game or DLC") + ("The version of the base game [DLCs have the same version number as that of the base game]") + ("The GOG version of the game's GOG installer which is the same for each DLC, enclosed in circular brackets") + ".exe". So, it looks like the torrent page for this game has the torrent for the Steam (P2P) version of this game while the Direct Download page has the GOG version (It's not the first time that such a thing has happened with a game listed between the two sites).

You wrote previously that you had disabled your Windows Defender AntiVirus and that you "... got an error 5 when trying to install ...". Did you also make sure that your firewall and | or anti-malware's real time protection are or is also disabled or turned off during the base game's and each DLC's GOG installation process? Your firewall and | or anti-malware may be blocking one or more of the installers.

Try to temporarily disable or turn off your firewall and | or anti-malware and then try to first run the base game's installer followed by each DLC's installer to see whether the error occurs again. An "error 5" thrown by any GOG installer usually means that something (For example, an Anti-Virus, a firewall and | or an anti-malware application) is denying access to the currently running GOG installer.

Also, for confirmation purposes, please provide a screenshot of the error messagebox with the exact "error 5" message that you're encountering during the installation process.

If temporarily disabling your Windows UAC (Which you already tried), Anti-Virus, firewall and anti-malware still doesn't fix the problem then read the following possible solution in the GOG forum.

Why are you asking all of this? Are you one of those DMCA enforcement agents? I only ask in fairness because your account is newly created with only one comment, making this all suspicious.
😐❓

In all fairness, I can tell you that most of the games listed here and stored on off-site, third party file hosters (There are no actual files on this site for download) are acquired via the 'Net from the Scene or P2P, same as on any other game enthusiasts site. For a better understanding of how the Scene works, see my comment here which provides a detailed explanation. Sometimes, members donate their old games. Over the course of many years, the "library" of games accumulated, builds up (No surprise there).

As for the members of the staff, you need not look further than directly above in this page where it says "LIST CURRENT MODERATOR" (Note: No one on the staff cracks games). I, myself am just a regular, non-staff member (I have no "label" that says "Moderator") who helps out in this FAQ section by trying to answer inquires about or resolve problems with games.
😐

I hope that all of this helps you~!

In retrospection it kinda looks like i'm some kinda fed XD i've been used the site for a good bit a while ago (and i had another account but forgot the username and the recovery site looks broken) but kinda stopped on account of reddit not really liking the site.
I was looking for some newer versions of some games (enshrouded and timberborn)and i wanted to maybe give the site another go and was wondering why igg is so up to date compared with other sites. I guess it was a quantity over quality deal or just a large team and figured the moderators are for moderating comments and not adding games to the site (i know you don't crack games).
Also sorry if i spooked you i'll try to recover the other account to "clear the name" of this account :p.

I'm not very good at English, @rob answered quite fully. I don't quite understand what you mean, but I can add a few comments:

  • If you mean where do I get the games from, and why are there so many? then I will answer that, many years ago, IGG (the real admin) spent thousands of dollars to buy games. After he quit his job, there wasn't much money left in the fund to buy games each month, because he didn't provide much money anymore. Currently, we own several Steam, GOG,... accounts with a total of over 20K games. We source games from everywhere on the internet, and regularly buy new games if they don't exist anywhere.

  • About the subreddit hypocrisy: you can read it in the comments below. Years ago, a group of members of that subreddit started creating dozens of pirate game websites. They couldn't compete with IGG, so they spread false rumors to us. You know why they can't compete? Because they never take the time to help users, while this community actively helps each other. Because they don't buy any games, while IGG spends thousands of dollars to buy games. They stole the game from here, causing IGG to create a watermark, as well as a dll to check if their websites did not steal the game => they spread the news that IGG added a virus to the game -_-, so IGG did not use this method anymore, soon after, they continued to steal again :)). Ironically, they had to put some of their owned websites on the unsafe list themselves, for some undeniable reason, that they stole from IGG :)). In general, there are dozens of information left, but I'm too lazy to write, you can in the user's comments below you (there is a link there).

In case i get neither an email or you don't find Boyos Boyo I guess I have no proof and you can assume whatever you wish.

In either case, thanks for the games and assistance provided !

Okay. Everyone deserves "The benefit of the doubt". If your "original" account was created under the FastComments (FC) user commenting system and not the prior system, "Disqus" which is no longer used by this particular site, you can try to open a ticket in the FastComments Help Center (See here) and explain your situation. As long as you still have the email account that you used to create your "original" FC account which is used for all intents and purposes, as the account "password", you may still be able to have the FC staff try to retrieve your "original" username on your behalf. You may be asked other questions to verify that you actually are the owner of your "original" account.

You can perform a search for the games which you've mentioned to see whether the latest version of each game possibly listed here meets for what you're looking (Please remember to disable your ad blocker before visiting this site.

There is both quantity and quality in this site and the games listed within this site. Whether it is one above the other or vice versa, is a matter of each member's personal opinion.

The moderators work hard to maintain this site and to "Keep the peace" within our community. They may number in the few but they accomplish many things through sheer perseverance (A few of them have not been active recently due to semi-retirement, medical or other kinds of problems but the remaining staff has "shouldered on" the extra workload left behind due to the others' absence, without any complaints).

Well, you'd have to admit that for a "newly" created user account with only one comment to its name, it was a highly unusual "First comment" to make.

Anyway in the future, if you have any inquires about or a problem encountered with a game listed on this site, please feel free to always ask in this FAQ section and someone will try their best to assist you in any way that's humanly possible.

I hope that this helps you~!

The "No license" error usually means that either a separately provided crack was not applied by a user or in the case of this P2P released game, the pre-applied "crack" failed. I'll inform IGG, the administrator of this site, about the failed "crack" and he will try to fix the problem.

First of all, what game are you talking about? Whenever querying for information about a game or asking for help with a problem encountered with a game, please also include a link to the page on IGG-Games.com where the game which you are inquiring about or experiencing a problem with, can be found (aka the "game page"). This is to help me to better help you by expediting the process for me to try to answer your query or to find a solution for your problem. Please see "item 1" here for more information.
😐❓

Are you asking for instructions on how to play mods that are already downloaded (and installed?) in the given game to which you are referring, with your friends via Steam? If so, then I would need to know exactly to which game that you are referring before I can investigate the matter. The instructions, if any are available to be found, might not apply to all such Steam games (Note: Even if the instructions are found, the cracked game might not support the playing of [user made] mods online. Game cracks are usually only for playing the offline, single player mode of a game. The online, multiplayer mode would not covered by a game crack as you would need to connect to a legitimate server in order to play a game [session]. There's usually no way that a game crack can get you pass the authentication process on a legitimate, online server (eg. - One owned by Steam, Epic Games, Ubisoft, ... etc). It would be possible to play online if you can find a pirate server to host online games but those kinds of servers might not remain online long once they've been discovered by the authorities who would then usually shut them down quickly. Unlike a legitimate server, a pirate server might not last for a long time as its fate is always uncertain).
😐❓

As the first step towards possibly resolving your problem, I hope that this helps you~!

How do I play the game on Steam so I can download mods from the Workshop and play with my friends?

You can try to download Steam Workshop mods for legitimate or cracked Steam games by logging onto Steam via Steam CMD anonymously and visiting the "SteamWorkshopDownloader" site. After that, you would need to manually install the downloaded mod into the correct sub-folder in the installed game's folder for whatever game you have (You'll you need to do a little "Trial and Error" to try to find out the correct sub-folder into which to move the downloaded mod).

However, as Rob had already explained to you in his reply, the cracked game with any installed mods would still not have support for the online, multiplayer mode. You could still play the game with the installed mods that you downloaded but only in the offline, single player mode.

I checked the game page for "Girls and Dungeons" but do not see any comment posted by you (see the first screenshot). I can see "saddas"'s comment and "Lovemaster"'s conflicting comments (The former says that the downloaded game is not the same while the latter says that the downloaded game is the same as that listed. The YouTube link provided by "Lovemaster" is now dead).

I checked the MegaUp link and it appears that the game is indeed uploaded on the third party file hoster's server (Please see the second screenshot).

Can you please provide a screenshot of WinRAR with the archive of the game which you downloaded, opened up within WinRAR itself for verification of what you've described? I'm running a bit late on my location (I'm usually not online here at this time) and it's not safe for me to download any warez at this particular time in the afternoon as the "Internet Police" in my location are now active during this part of the day [I only download late at night]). Also, please provide a screenshot of, if applicable, the installer prior to the beginning of the installation process or if there is no installer then the execution of the downloaded game.
😐❓

I checked the game page for "Cherry Kisses" but do not see any comment posted by you (See the third screenshot).

Can you please provide a screenshot of the error message, if any, that you are encountering while either attempting to install or play the game? Your description of the problem, "The game doesn't work" does not provide any details for me to investigate.

The link for this game and the WinRAR archive with the game on MegaUP is still up/working/alive. You can use MegaUp to download this game (See the fourth screenshot). IGG-Games.com [admin] does not re-upload a game until all of the available mirror links are down/no longer working/dead due to the demands of time upon him from his busy weekly schedule (See the second paragraph here to get an idea of some of the tasks that he must handle within a given week).

As the first step towards resolving all of your mentioned problems, I hope that all of this helps you~!

The game is supposed to be a 2d H game ( what the igg page show ) and not a 3d game.
As for the comment I did not commented and actually both "Saddas" and "Lovemaster" seems to say that the game isn't the right one.

For "Cherry Kisses" I can't provide screen of the error message since the game just doesn't open at all so I can't provide any additional information or proof, only the comment that are validating that claim :/

Thank You so very much for providing the two screenshots for the first problem. What is the process to save a steam game to send for donating? Just save the entire folder in the directory? Thanks (windows 10)

You can try to "backup" your Steam game via Steam into a folder on your local hard drive (See the step by step instructions here) (Note: This process does not remove any DRM (Digital Rights Management | copy protection) like "Steamworks"|"Steam Stub" or any third party DRM that may be protecting the game. This process only makes the game "portable" so that IGG-Games.com [admin] can restore it on his Steam Client and attempt to "by pass" (Not crack) the DRM using Steam Client emulators like SmartSteamEMU (See here) or the Goldberg Emulator (See here). There's nobody on the staff here that cracks games. Also, some Steam games may be 100% DRM-free.

Once you have backed up your game then follow the instructions (See "jON dOE"'s stickied comment) on this site's donation page on how to donate your game.

I hope that this helps you~!

Hello, I ask here now. I got rimworld game, zip file, I unzip the game, I open it and there is only setup files ( for the game and the dlc ). I run the program and the game run just fine but not the dlc. any luck helping me out?
also I appreciate the work you do, but I am under suspicion that the games you provide are linked with "viruses", I personally never had viruses, at least not that I know of but there were some reddit posts.
gl to all thanks a lot

In the future, for the sake of clarification, please also post a link to the game's page like this or this -> https://igg-games.com/rimworld-free-278188075-download.html.

Are you sure that you downloaded the version of the game from one of the third party file hosters that are linked to on this site? All of the games that are listed on this site are compressed into WinRAR archives. There are no listed games here that are compressed into WinZip archives. If you didn't download the version of this game that is listed on this site then do so.

Once you have downloaded the version of this game that is listed on the game's page, make sure that your Steam Client application is not running while you are running this game (Read XRRoy's comment, "EDIT 2", about the DLCs in the game page).

Don't be mislead by the false rumors that are spewed on the Reddit or SubReddit pages about this site (Read what IGG, the adminstrator of this site and my friend Rob have written concerning such rumors). Those users on Reddit who are trying to defame this site are actually the owners of competing sites who are trying to drive people away from this site with all of their bullshιt!

hello again, i sorry, i meant rar not zip.
I still have problem, although I believe I didn't explain correctly or maybe I didn't understand.
The setup files, are my problem. I can run the setup file just fine for the main game but when it comes to the dlc, they are just running in the background after I run them and they don't do anything.
I will look back on the @mentions you made previously.
Thank you sir good luck

When you were running each DLC's installer (setup.exe), did you make sure that your Steam Client wasn't running at the same time? Based on the various comments in the game page, the DLCs are cracked and compressed into the .bin file that setup.exe uses but the Steam Client can detect whether each DLC is legitimate (Purchased from Steam via the Steam Client) or cracked, during the installation process (Possibly via a file checksum comparison). Supposedly, whenever it detects a cracked DLC as it is being uncompressed, it will try to prevent its installation. That's why I instructed you to make sure that your Steam Client application was not also running at the same time.

Another possible cause, if you're running Windows 11, is that this old game which was built for Windows 7, according to the game's Steam page, may be incompatible with Windows 11 (During the game's installation process and/or execution). If you do a browser search for "Windows 11" where any Windows 10 or Windows 7 game is involved, you will see that the new architecture of Windows 11 may not be compatible with the old Windows games (See this example and a possible workaround for the problem).

Please let me know whether either possibility is or both are the case for you.

Hello good sir, glad to see you're taking the time to respond accordingly. I am grateful.
Neither the steam client is running nor do I use windows 11.
I can't express how frustrating this is to me, I've had this issue with the prison architect game and all of the dlc that it has.
I use the task manager and I don't see anything unusual. Altough the UAC says that the setup is not allowed access or entry or whatever. I am not that proficient in tech and don't know a lot, but I am eager to learn about it all since I find it very interesting.
Anyways, forgive my babble. Do you have any other solutions?

Try setting your Windows User Account Control to "Never Notify" you whenever any program tries to make changes. Reboot your machine. Next, try to install one of the DLCs. If successful then install the remaining DLCs. After that, try to run the game with the DLCs. If successful then exit the game and set your Windows User Account Control to its previous settings prior to the DLC installations. Try to run the game again with all of the DLCs. You may need to tweak the settings to suit your needs (For example "Notify me only when programs try to make changes. Don't notify me when I try to make changes to Windows settings". If need be then set the Windows UAC to "Never Notify" permanently).

Hmm ... You can try asking for help in the unofficial Rimworld Discord server as recommened by "Ramsis", one of the game's Community Managers (See his comment in the game's page). Try to describe the problem in general terms but don't mention that the game and DLCs are cracked as that is against their rules as per Ramsis' comment. According to Ramsis, they will try to help anyone (Including a pirate) that has encountered a problem with the game (This may also include problems with the DLCs).

Good day! I have some clue as to why this is all happening. No rights. Basically, when I setup the main game, I get an error 5 which states that a directory named GOG wasn't able to be created inside the rimworld data directory. Without it, you can't download the dlc. I know that, because when I uninstalled the main game, I had one of these setups already running and it said that no GOG directory was found so it cant install it.
I DISABLED THE ANTIVIRUS, I ALLOWEDD IT THROUGH THE WINDOWS WLL DEFENDER I GAVE ADMIN ACCESS.
just stating what I did, am not angry or anything.
ANYWAYS, with all that, can you help me, please?

Sorry, for my late reply. I didn't see your previous reply all the way down here in the FAQ page.

According to the torrent page for this game, this game is a P2P release by an unknown P2P group or P2P cracker. I don't know why any of the DLC installers are asking for a GOG directory (Presumably one with the installed base game). They shouldn't since the base game listed here is a Steam and not a GOG version game. Can you provide a screenshot of the WinRAR archive opened up in WinRAR (Maximize WinRAR to fullscreen so that all of the installers and support files (.exes and .bin files) for the game and each DLC can be clearly seen. It is possible that the wrong version of the DLCs (GOG instead of Steam) were accidentally packed into the same WinRAR archive as the Steam version base game.

BTW - Your previous message did not have a "Reply" link at the time of this writing. I had to use a workaround in order to reply to it (Right click on the datetime stamp, select "open link in a new tab", go to the new tabbed page and you should see this comment of mine with a "Reply" link at its lower right corner. If the workaround doesn't work for you then just create a new comment and in it, write that your new comment is a continuation of an old chain of comments below that have now hit the FastComments limit for the amount of replies allowed in chain of reply comments. Also include a link to this comment in your new comment.

Root DLC does not work after logging in to the account.

I don't know if this problem happened because I missed something during the download process, but when I wasn't logged into my account, the DLC still appeared. After I logged in, it forced me to buy it to use. Is there any way to solve this problem?

First of all, what game are you talking about? Whenever querying for information about a game or asking for help with a problem encountered with a game, please also include a link to the page on IGG-Games.com where the game which you are inquiring about or experiencing a problem with, can be found (aka the "game page"). This is to help me to better help you by expediting the process for me to try to answer your query or to find a solution for your problem. Please see "item 1" here for more information.
😐❓

It is usual practice, after installing a given game (Some games may require installation while others that are already pre-installed before being packed into a WinRAR archive, do not), to copy the contents from the game's cracked files folder (If it exists, it may be named as [the same as the name of the Scene group, P2P (Peer to Peer) group or individual P2P cracker that released the game] (eg. - "TENOKE", "RUNE", "Razor1911", "FairLight", "SiMPLEX", "PLAZA", "Empress", ... etc), "crack", "fix" or yet something else. It is usually a folder that is separate from the game's installer and its support file(s) [eg. - A .bin file]) into the installed game's folder. If asked to overwrite any files, click on the "Yes" button. Afterwards, try running the game again.

Also, the cracks for games (If a given game is not pre-cracked before being packed into a WinRAR archive) only support the single player, offline mode of a game and not the multiplayer, online mode. You should not have log onto any account on any server to play in the single player mode if you have already applied the separate crack file(s) to the installed game's folder.
😐

As the first step towards resolving your problem, I hope that this helps you~!

Issue with steamAPI in wraithbinder.
was mentioned on "UPLOADS"
page, i just figured id help the fella out and
bring it up here. he mentioned that the dll from
the "gatekeeper" upload worked so he is good.
i checked the game myself before posting this.

i tested this fellas mention of pasting
"gatekeeper" steam api in the game
by downloading gatekeeper, etc. and
it worked just fine. i can upload this on the
games page if need be. but that would mean
the game is broken if one does not see the comment.

edit-this fella mentioned is GibMeGame

If I understand you correctly, you wish to have IGG-Games.com [admin] "sticky" your yet unposted comment , in the game page for "Wraithbinder", that has your proven confirmation about "GibMeGame"'s posted solution to the "... entry point SteamInternal_SteamAPI_Init not found ..." error that was encountered and resolved by "GibMeGame" as mentioned in his comment (See here) in that game page, correct? First off, I'm glad that the solution (ie. - Replacing the "Steam_API.dll" and|or "Steam64_API.dll" that was packaged with this game with another respective copy from another game, namely "Gatekeeper", worked in both of GibMeGame's and your cases for this game.

However, I just want to caution you and everyone else that this solution may or may not work in all cases for any other given game as I had offered the same solution to "Play" and "Silvexx" recently when the same error had been encountered in "Flying Tank", only I had recommended that they download copies of the respective library files from the "DLL-Files" site (See my reply comments to "Play" and "Silvexx" here). Sometimes, as in the case with "Wraithbinder", replacing the corrupted "Steam_API.dll" and|or "Steam64_API.dll" files with "working copies" from another game may resolve the problem and sometimes doing so may not for another game.

Again, I'm glad that you, "GibMeGame" and any other member who may encounter this error message in "Wraithbinder" now have a working solution for this problem!

You can try to contact IGG-Games.com [admin] via email and inform him about the solution posted by "GibMeGame" which was confirmed by you as a "working" one. He will then decide whether your confirmation post, basically the comment that you just posted in this FAQ section which you would want to post a copy of in this game's page, should be stickied. You probably already know the following information but just in case you don't, his Proton Mail address is listed on this site's donation page.

I hope that this helps you~!

man, the way you put that seems like im being
slimy as hell. and i had no intentions on being perceived that way.
(by slimy, i mean like "i fixed it, its my credits"
due to lack of name at first.

i have posted "a fix" perhaps it doesnt work
for all, but in my experiences here. sometimes
thats the case...
before making the initial comment.
i checked, and the game wasnt working. i then tested
"the fellas" fix. as at the time, i had 30 tabs open.
and even upon finding his name in the main games
page, i failed to realize it was him that had found it
and requested for an upload. this is quite possibly the
only time i hadnt mentioned someone by name. either way,
my goal was accomplished. i got it posted, and attention
was grabbed, i also hadnt realized another
instance with a situation like this had already happened.

never the less appreciate the info. as next time
ill grab the file directly from the proper place.
or try too.

Gib, yes. games are donated mostly. donating
doesnt mean you give up being able to play

and donating doesnt actually make it playable
unless its crackable. you can also crack it yourself
and email it in. this FAQ page has alot of info
your asking in this comment here. check here

I apologize if my reply could be and may have been possibly misconstrued in the way that you described it but I assure you, that was not my intention. All I was trying to convey was that GibMeGame had indeed found the [possible] solution but it was yet unproven until another party, namely you, had downloaded both "Wraithbinder" and "Gatekeeper", switched out the .dll file(s) that was | were in "Wraithbinder" and then replaced it | them with the respective .dll file(s) in "Gatekeeper" and then successfuly ran "Wraithbinder" without encountering the error. Before all of that happened, it was still an unproven solution for "Wraithbinder". IMHO, GibMeGame definitely deserves credit for finding the solution but he didn't provide any proof that the solution works (A screenshot showing "Wraithbinder" running without this error would have sufficed). So, until you came along and performed all of the "grunt work" including the testing (You have successfully executed games in the process of testing possible solutions in various game pages before, so you do not need screenshots or any other kind of visual proof that a game which you say works after applying a given possible solution, does actually work, to back up your words). Thus you deserve credit for providing the proof that the possible solution indeed works for this game!
🥴

But as I noted in my first reply, this possible solution may not work for all games with this error and instead only for some wherein this error is encountered, so it is not a "universal or standard solution" that should be offered in all cases. You're most welcome for this information!
😎👍

That's all that I meant to say with my first reply. Nothing more, nothing less.

I hope that all of this "clears up" any misunderstandings~!
🙂

BTW - Games can also be acquired by IGG-Games.com [admin] via the Scene or P2P. For a better understanding of how the Scene works, see my comment here which provides a detailed explanation. And finally, games can be purchased by IGG-Games.com [admin] from online retail platforms like Steam, GOG, "The Humble Bundle Store", "Big Fish Games" and a few other online stores - See the many "Upload" requests in the Game Request section. So, the games that are listed on this site can come from various sources and not just from donations (IMHO, most of the games come from the Scene or P2P as evidenced by the torrent link in the upper part of a given game page while some come from purchases on online game stores and some, to a lesser degree, are donated by members. Donated games usually have a "Thanks to [ member name ] for use of | sharing this game" notice posted in the game's page and in the Game Request section by IGG-Games.com [admin] (Not many games have this kind of notice within the game's page). Otherwise, a given game may have come from one of the other sources that I have already mentioned).

I'm glad to see that all of that misunderstanding is now cleared up! For a brief moment, I felt like I was answering comedian Groucho Marx's famous psychological, "No win, Yes|No question" - "Have you stopped beating your wife?". No matter what answer is given, the person answering that question is made to look bad as part of a comedic sketch! Groucho is so famous that there's even emoticons that have been created to honor his famous comedic, facial image (i.e. - The bushy eyebrows with a thick mustache)! LOL~! Please don't worry about everything that has happened concerning the problem with this game - "Lack of sleep" affects me as well on occasion!
🙂 🥸 😀 😉

It's also good to see that the problem with this game has now been resolved!
🙂

In addition, I'm glad to hear that in the future, you will use better judgment as to when it would or would not be appropriate to offer the advice about swapping out the "Steam_api" 64|32 bit library files in order to attempt to resolve the "Entry point not found ..." error.
🙂

It's no problem, about GibMeGame's inquiry concerning from where are the games listed on this site sourced. I'm glad to have been able to help~!

Groucho Marx was way before my time as well. "The Marx Brothers" comedy trio (Wikipedia says that there was a fourth brother who performed early on but then left the group after 1933) of which he was a part of (I think that he was the team's leader but I could be wrong) predated "The Three Stooges" [One of my favorite classic comedy teams] by about two decades (More info here). I enjoy the "Slap-stick" comedy of "The Three Stooges" (IMHO, Curly was the best "third" stooge - Nyuk, Nyuk~! Shemp was funny at times and Curly-Joe was mostly a "stand-in").

I only know about Groucho, Chico and Harpo from old historical footage of their movies and animated appearances in various cartoons like Bugs Bunny animated shorts that pay homage to them. But many older generations fondly know of the "The Marx Brothers" in full detail. I actually saw Groucho ask a guest the "Have you stopped beating your wife?" question on his TV show in some old documentary footage about his life. He was famous for roasting guests with psychological, no-win questions all for a laugh from the live audience. LOL!

Thank you, I was not expecting such a thorough answer. Hey, if its okay to ask- how do games get like... 'here'- like on the site lol. It's hard to explain what i mean- I've been hoping for a game to get uploaded (spellshot) and made a request- i'm not the only one either. is it literally just waiting for some generous person with $10 who frequents this site to take the time to provide the files?

See the "BTW" note in my reply above. IMHO, your "Best bet" for obtaining a $10 game is to wait for it to go on sale (From 60 to 90% off would not be unreasonable to IGG-Games.com [admin]) and then post an "upload" request for it in the Game Request page. Or there may still be a chance that the game that you're interested in may get donated by some kind soul in our community~!

how do most of the smaller titles get on here?
1
Hide Replies 1
Avatar
VIPHelperRob Conner
I wouldn't say "most" but rather "a substantial majority", since I've never conducted a formal poll or tally of all such games that are listed on this site (That would be a huge task to undertake, given the sheer amount of such games that are listed on this site). If by "smaller" you actually mean "less expensive" games as opposed to high priced, "AAA" games then first see the first two paragraphs here for more information concerning any given request.

The cost of a game which is not available from any other source other than a retailer like Steam or GOG (e.g. - No one in the Scene or P2P has already cracked it or no member here has donated a DRM-free [Digital Rights Management | Copy protection scheme] game), is one of the factors that determine (As IGG-Games.com [admin] sees fit at his discretion [which only he knows about]) whether a game is accepted | granted in an "Upload" request. Another factor is availability - If a game is already available [cracked] for IGG-Games.com [admin] to acquire ["download"] from the Scene or P2P then he will usually do so (This usually applies to newer or fairly recent officially released games that have been recently cracked) rather than purchase a given game from an online store.

Older games, especially those released many years ago, might not be as readily available [scarce | not easily found] and thus may be, but not always, refused since they may require more precious time for him to try to locate them for download, while yet another factor has to do with a game's protection scheme [DRM]. While some of the "bigger" games are protected by strong DRM like "Denuvo" or "UPlay", some "smaller" games may still be protected by DRM that are weaker than Denuvo but still stronger than the fairly weak "SteamWorks or Steamstub" DRM that can usually be "by passed" (Not cracked) by Steam Client Emulators like SmartSteamEMU (See here) or the Goldberg Emulator (See here). [Note: There's nobody on the staff here that cracks games. Games are cracked by the crackers in the Scene or P2P groups or individual P2P crackers who are not affiliated with any group]. Those "Medium strength" DRMs which can't be so easily bypassed by a steam Client emulator include VMProtect or hybrids of many different DRMs that may or may not include Steamworks/SteamStub as a part of themselves. "Smaller" games protected by such "Medium strength" DRMs are not accepted | granted in an "Upload" request.

Thus, multiple factors may "Come into play" in determining whether an "Upload" request for a "smaller"game may or may not be approved (Or put in another way, a "smaller" game must satisfy the factors in favor of and not meet the conditions of the factors against it being approved within an "Upload" request in order to be a part of the games listed on this site).

I hope that all of this helps you to better understand this topic~!

First of all, you should not have any ad blocker enabled immediately prior to visiting this site. Ad blockers, whether built-into your browser like the Brave browser, third party add-ons like Adblock Plus and UBlock or one provided by your VPN (If you use a VPN, it is probably built-into the VPN client application. You can always re-enable your ad blocker once you're done with your visit to IGG-Games.com.

A filterlist like the "FMHYFilterlist" for ad blockers, can be misused by any party (eg. - Rival site owners, disgruntled former members of a site or just plain vicious, maleficent hackers on open forums like Reddit) to try to discredit, through reports to filterlists like "FMHYFilterlist" via that filterlist's "sitelist.txt", any other party which in this case, is this site, for their own intents and purposes (Anyone can add any website into a copy of that "sitelist.txt" text file, run that project's "build.py" Python program and then submit the generated report to that project's Github page. Whether any newly added sites are thoroughly scrutinized or just taken verbatim as an unsafe site is unknown except to those responsible for the project's continuation).

If you honestly feel that this site is unsafe for you to use then you should try to delete any bookmarks or manually saved links within any text file that are associated with this site's URL and not visit this site anymore, otherwise, just disable your ad blocker immediately prior to visiting this site.

I hope that this helps you~!

Try to disable your adblocker temporarily before visiting IGG-Games.com. Adblockers, whether built-into your browser, third party add-ons like Adblock Plus and UBlock or one provided by your VPN (If you use a VPN, it is probably built-into the VPN client application. Check your VPN's support site on how to disable their provided adblocker), tend to prevent this site or parts of this site, like the search engine or "urlbluemedia.shop", the ad server that this site uses, from functioning or being accessed properly (Also, the ads help to pay for the continued operation of this site. If you enjoy using this site and want to continue to see it remain online then please disable your adblocker). You can always re-enable your adblocker once you're done with your visit to IGG-Games.com. Once you have disabled your adblocker, try to connect to IGG-Games.com, "urlbluemedia.shop" and subsequently, the third party file hoster via redirect by "urlbluemedia.shop".

I hope that this helps you~!

According to the torrent link for this game (See here) this game is a release from the Scene group, "RUNE".

It is usual practice, after installing a given game (Some games may require installation while others that are already pre-installed before being packed into a WinRAR archive, do not), to copy the contents from the game's cracked files folder (If it exists, it may be named as "RUNE", "crack", "fix" or yet something else. It is usually a folder that is separate from the game's installer and its support file(s) [eg. - A .bin file]) into the installed game's folder. If asked to overwrite any files, click on the "Yes" button. Afterwards, try running the game again.

I hope that this helps you~!

What's game, bro?

BTW, because you still not crack it before start game. After install, you must open .iso file, you will see "RUNE" folder, copy all files in that folder and paste to your game's dir, enjoy ;)

You can see tutorial here too (it same for almost games):

Thank You for providing the screenshot. In the future though, please ensure that any text within any provided screenshot is in English as English is my first language and I need to spend some extra time manually typing in the foreign [to me] text into Google Translate to translate any other language that I'm not familiar with, like the French in your screenshot, into English. This results in unnecessary delays towards possibly resolving your problem in an expedient manner (Please see the section called "Optional" here).
😐

According to Google Translate, the text in your screenshot says "Dedibox dedicated server under maintenance. Error 503 - Service temporarily unavailable during maintenance."

I'm not sure whether the ad server that this site uses is a Dedibox server and whether you are trying to convey that the ad server is now temporarily down for maintenance as the error message states.

I'm able to connect to the ad server from my location without encountering that error message. A HTTP 503 error can be caused by either a server being down for maintenance OR a server refusing new requests while being currently overloaded (See here).

Since I'm able to connect to the ad server from my location error-free, the ad server appears to be "up and running". It may be that the ad server is overloaded with requests from your location and has limited the number of requests from your location that are served (Locations with more traffic may have a higher priority for service than other locations that have comparably less traffic).

Try waiting for about an hour or so until the period of heavy traffic from your location to the sever may possibly be less or even over and then try to connect again to the ad server.

I hope that this helps you~!

Hi Rob,

Thanks for always helping me. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

To cut to the chase, I was finally able to install Windows 10 on the new partition, but I still can't launch Samurai Shodown.

Your vast knowledge never ceases to amaze me. I didn't know terms like PCIe, SATA, or RAID, but searching them led to a breakthrough.

First, I checked if SATA mode was set to "AHCI." In the UEFI/BIOS settings, I found the following:

Non-RAID Physical Disks:
PCIe 0.0, WD PC SN560 SDDPNQE-1T00-1002 23020D801764, 953.8GB

The presence of "Non-RAID Physical Disks" suggests that AHCI mode is likely active.

Further search, I found some other people online having the same trouble with their NVMe SSDs not showing up during Windows installation. It turns out that when Intel VMD mode is enabled in the UEFI BIOS, Windows fails to recognize NVMe (PCIe) SSDs.

The suggested solutions were either to disable VMD mode or load the IRST driver while keeping VMD mode enabled. You also mentioned loading the IRST driver as a solution.

To check if Intel VMD is enabled, I opened Device Manager in Windows 11 and selected "Storage controllers." If "Standard NVM Express Controller" is displayed, it's disabled. If "Intel RST VMD Controller" is displayed, it's enabled. In my case, it was enabled.

I found a video that seemed to resolve the issue for many ASUS users: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuCY0ChsqAM

Following the video's instructions, I downloaded the latest IRST driver and installed it during Windows 10 installation using the "Load driver" option (This time, the driver was displayed and could be installed). However, my NVMe (PCIe) SSD still wasn't visible. I also had the option to disable Intel VMD, but I wanted to avoid that if possible due to potential drawbacks.

I decided to try a different approach (Screenshot attached):

Open Device Manager
Navigate to "Storage controllers"
Right-click "Intel RST VMD Controller A77F" (in my case)
Select "Properties"
Choose the "Driver" tab
Click "Driver Details"
Search for the displayed file names using a file indexing software like "Everything" (which indexes all drives connected to the PC for faster file searches)
Locate the folder containing those files
Copy the folder to the same USB drive as Windows installation files
Select the folder during the "Load Driver" step in Windows 10 installation

This method finally allowed my NVMe (PCIe) SSD to appear.

I was then able to install Windows 10 on the new partition! After completing Windows Update and installing the necessary game drivers, I excitedly attempted to launch Samurai Shodown, but it still wouldn't start.

I initially assumed that Windows 11 was the culprit, but maybe that's not the case. Silvexx successfully played the game on Windows 11.

I'm giving up on playing Samurai Shodown. Thanks for everything.

Thank you so very much for your kind words~!
😎👍

Also, Thank You for sharing the ASUS support video - It could be of great help to other members here who may also experience a problem with their newer model NVMe, PCIe SSD not being recognized by any Windows installation program during their efforts to install an older version of Windows in order to try to play an older game which was built for the given, particular older version of Windows! Technically, the method works but only IF you have the correct IRST VMD driver in a folder copied onto a USB stick with the Windows Installation files. IMHO, that was a clever move on your part by copying the correct driver that was already installed in your Windows 11 partition onto your USB stick and then using that copied, correct SSD controller driver to finally have the Windows 10 installation program recognize your SSD (It is also a good thing that apparently Windows 11 was using the SSD controller driver that was written for use under Windows 10, as opposed to a newer driver that was written exclusively for Windows 11, so that the Windows 10 installation program could finally, successfully install Windows 10 on your new partition)!
😎👍

One last thing about "Samurai Showdown" being able to be installed on your new Windows 10 partition but not being able to be played (I know that you already wrote that you have installed all of the necessary "game drivers" but the following advice is just in case you might have missed something):

Try to ensure that you have the latest driver for your graphics card (Visit the official nVidia site here or the official AMD site here), the latest version of Microsoft DirectX supported by your graphics card and for your version of Windows 10 (For DirectX 11 and below, see here. For DirectX 12, see here), the latest version of Microsoft DirectX supported by your graphics card and for your version of Windows (For DirectX 11 and below, see here. For DirectX 12, see here), the latest version of the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime (See here. Scroll down to where it says "Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022" and then click on the appropriate download link for your version of Windows) and the latest Microsoft .Net frameworks (See here).

Also, try to ensure that you do not have any AntiVirus or firewall enabled in your windows 10 partition and disable your network connection via "Network Connections" in your windows 10 partition all before running this game. Afterwards, try to run the game again.

IMHO, even if that last bit of advice doesn't help to finally get "Samurai Showdown" to work on your machine, you still gained some valuable knowledge that you can use to troubleshoot any future installation(s) of Windows where newer hardware exists or any hardware change occurs, so all of the extra time and effort that you used in trying to get this game to work on your machine was still well spent (It would be nice if the game does actually work after trying that last bit of advice).

What you deduced about Windows 11 not being the culprit responsible for the game not working may be true, in the case of your machine, as you have pointed out that Silvexx was able to run this game on his Windows 11 machine. Unfortunately, it may mean that something particular with your machine's hardware configuration is at the root of the problem, if no previously installed software can be found to be the cause. If you have access to another machine with which you can try to install this game, you can further try to figure out what may be the probable cause, with respect to your machine.

Take care for now, my friend~!

Once again, You're most welcome~!

If you have the opportunity to try to install Windows 10 on another machine (Maybe you can salvage an old desktop that's being stored in your closet that meets the minimum hardware requirements for this game and which can run Windows 10 or if you don't have one then perhaps you can purchase a vintage, near "barebones" system [Including a motherboard, CPU, RAM and IDE|SATA hard drive inside of its case] and a separate dedicated PCIe graphics card for cheap (Total of $200USD or less for everything) at eBay as a "test" machine for this and any other old game (See my eBay search results here. You may have to use eBay Japan for your search) just as long as it can meet the minimum CPU (Intel Core i5 - It could be a Second Gen "Sandy Bridge", Intel Core CPU which are now cheap), DDR2 RAM (8GB, 16GB would be better if included but you might have to buy the additional 8GB of memory sticks separately), 250GB (For Windows 10 and this game) [IDE or SATA] hard drive which are also cheap nowadays and an old, dedicated graphics card - See my eBay search results for the minimum required "AMD Radeon R9 280 card" (3GB GDDR is the default amount of memory installed on those now, lower end cards) here. The fourth listing here looks good. You can also search for its nVidia GeForce GTX 770 2GB equivalent) and this game on that computer, then ensure for testing purposes, that you only install the minimum required to run Windows 10 by itself on that machine [for testing and gaming purposes] (Do not install or enable any applications like a third party AntiVirus [Disable the default Windows Defender and do not set Windows to use Bitlocker], a firewall, an anti-malware (eg. - "Malwarebytes anti-malware"), ... etc but do install all of the latest "necessary" drivers as mentioned in my previous reply) as you want to ensure that nothing else might possibly interfere with this game's successful execution.

IF this game is successfully executed on that "test" machine then that confirms that the hardware configuration of or some piece of hardware in your main machine with the Windows 11 and Windows 10 partitions is interfering with the game's successful execution [on your main machine] (Of course, you could then just play this old game on the salvaged "test" machine and play other newer games on your main machine rather than try to figure out what in your main machine is preventing this game's successful execution. Note: I don't usually advise members to go out and purchase a vintage system just to play older games but do in your case, since this game failed to successfully execute under the Windows 10 VM in the Windows 11 partition and under the actual Windows 10 installation in the Windows 10 partition of your main machine).

I wish you [premature] good cheers (Banzai! Three times with arms up and down in the air) should you try and succeed with this final resort to get this stubborn [LOL!] old game to work for you on any machine that you may have~! Who knows? If it all works on that "test" machine then maybe you could even install Windows 11 (via an upgrade of Windows 10) later on in that machine (You don't really need a motherboard with an onboard or external TPU or a fast CPU that meets the official Windows 11 requirements (See video here. You can even use the same "MassGrave"'s (freeware) "Microsoft Activation Scripts (MAS)" KMS [Key Management System] utility that you've already downloaded and used for Windows 10 to activate Windows 11)!

Thank you so much for your kind advice. I really appreciate it.

I'm actually more curious about what kind of person you are. You have so much knowledge, and you take the time to share it with people who need help. It's amazing. Maybe I should consult you about my life plans too, haha. If I lived near you, I might ask you about every little thing every day.

Also, I really admire your persistence in finding solutions and not giving up easily. You have so much knowledge because you don't just leave things you don't understand as they are, but you search them.

I'll consider getting another machine.

Thank You once more, for your fine compliments! They are most appreciated! I'm just a simple, client-server programmer who is currently "in-between" jobs and who also builds systems [as a hobby]. I'm not some kind of priest or life counselor, so I wouldn't be of much help to you with your life problems (I already have more than my fair share of personal life problems). IMHO, the World would probably be a more livable place if people's life problems could possibly be more readily resolved like computer [hardware and|or software] problems but living human beings are not the same as cold, uncaring machines (Except for one particular T-800 in "The Terminator" franchise. LOL)!

I think you just need to organize your files so that they are manageable enough for you to avoid accidentally deleting files that you wish to keep along with files that you no longer need.

I usually have a "Downloads" folder that I use to temporarily store all of the [WinRAR archive] files that I download prior to backing them up onto an external HDD (I'm not suggesting that you go out and purchase a now expensive 8TB external USB 3.0 hard drive after the recent Worldwide inflation hit and drove prices up to insane levels). Within the "Downloads" folder, I have a subfolder called "Incoming" in which I use to extract using WinRAR, each further, separate subfolder [folder] that each contains the installation files (Or the .iso file to be mounted which contains the installation files) for each respective, given game that I intend to install. Once I have installed a given game into whatever separate location on my hard drive and applied its crack, I usually return to the "Incoming" subfolder and delete the subfolder with the installation files (Or the .iso file which contains the installation files) for that given game and just keep the installed game's folder intact. When I am done playing with a given game, I then either run the game's uninstaller or use a third party uninstaller like Revo Uninstaller Pro (See here for freeware version download) to uninstall the given game. For games that do not have any installation files (Some games may be pre-installed and "cracked" before being packed into a WinRAR archive), I would just manually delete the given pre-installed game's folder (Note: For such games, I would just move the pre-installed game's extracted folder (Or subfolder that is under the "Incoming" subfolder) into the root directory of my hard drive and then just play the game before subsequently deleting that folder manually).

In that way, I avoid accidentally deleting files that I wish to keep along with files that I no longer need (Note: I NEVER delete the "Incoming" subfolder, I only delete subfolders within it - If you're worried about accidentally deleting a folder like the "Incoming" folder then you can take some measures to protect it from deletion. See the following "SuperUser" page here). You don't have to organize your files in the same way as I do but just keep the subfolders (or folders) with each respective game's installation files (Or each .iso file which contains each respective game's installation files) separate from any other subfolder or folder, especially a given installed game's folder, in order to try to avoid your problem.

Like the old saying goes, "Do not put all of your eggs into one basket".

I hope that this helps you~!

According to the torrent page for this game, this game is a Scene release from the Scene group, "RUNE".

It is usual practice, after installing a given game (Some games may require installation while others that are already pre-installed before being packed into a WinRAR archive, do not), to copy the contents from the game's cracked files folder (If it exists, it may be named as "RUNE", "crack", "fix" or yet something else. Thank you Rob.

I'm in the middle of the procedure you taught me. I have a few questions.

I've created a new disk partition (screenshots attached).

Last time I downloaded Windows 10.iso and Virtualbox (sort of) automatically read the iso file and installed Windows 10.

This time, what should I do next to install Windows 10?

First, should I download the Windows 10 file to my external storage (USB SSD)?

And do I need to change the BIOS menu to boot from the newly opened partition(D:) and read the SSD?Uploaded Image

A SSD is not required for the installation of Windows 10. To install Windows 10 on the new partition, download Microsoft's USB installation media utility for Windows 10 (here). Install the utility on your Widows 11 partition, insert a spare USB stick (About 8GB or larger USB stick will do - Warning! All data on the USB stick will be erased!), run the utility, redirect the utility to the location of the Windows 10 .iso file and then let the utility copy all of the necessary files from the .iso into the USB stick (Note: The USB Stick will be made bootable by the utility. You may need to change the boot order in BIOs|UEFI so that the USB stick [Removable drive] is the first boot device).

When done, reboot your machine. The bootable USB stick will then run the Windows 10 installation program. When prompted by the program as to which partition in which to install Windows 10, select the new partition.

I hope that this further helps you~!

It's been technically difficult for me...

I changed the boot order in BIOs|UEFI and tried to install, but the internal SSDs do not show up (the main one and the newly created partition).

I asked ChatGPT about this and they said it was probably because the SSD was encrypted by BitLocker. So I unencrypted it, but the internal SSD still does not appear in the list.

My Question:
"In the screen where I select the disk to install, the new partition I just created is not displayed. What should I do?"

ChatGPT Answer:
If the new partition is not displayed, there could be several causes. Follow these steps to resolve the issue.

Install Storage Drivers:
The installation media might not include necessary storage drivers. Download the latest drivers from the motherboard or storage device manufacturer's website and save them to a USB drive.

Load Drivers During Installation:
During the Windows 10 installation, select "Load Driver" and specify the drivers from the USB drive.

Check Partition Style:
In "Disk Management", check if the disk of the new partition is MBR or GPT.
For UEFI mode installation, the disk needs to be GPT. If it's MBR, convert it to GPT.

Convert the Disk (if necessary):
Use Command Prompt to convert the disk to GPT.
Note: This operation will erase all data on the disk.

diskpart
list disk
select disk [disk number]
clean
convert gpt
exit

The above seems a bit difficult to me as a beginner, and I am afraid I might even delete important data.

Actually, there are only a few other games I can't play (Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, for example), and it's probably for the same reason as Samurai Shodown.

However, there are plenty of other games I can play, so I give up on these two games.

Thank you so much for all the help you have given me.

IMHO, MBR partitioning scheme is all you'll need in the near future since you only will have the two partitions, one for your existing Windows 11 and the new partition for Windows 10. MBR supports up to four primary partitions (See here). If your motherboard is using BIOs then you don't need to convert to GPT, so therefore you won't have to run the risk of deleting any data during any conversion from MBR to GPT (If your motherboard is using UEFI then you have no choice but to convert to GPT in order for the new partition to be recognized by the boot manager).

So, if your motherboard is using BIOs which uses MBR instead of UEFI which uses GPT then you should be able to install Windows 10 from your USB stick. You just need to download the latest driver for your ssd into your USB stick and run the Windows 10 installation program. When prompted by the program, select "Install driver", redirecting the program to the location in your USB stick where the ssd driver is stored (The new partition should be recognized once its driver has been installed) and afterwards, proceed to select the target partition in which to install Windows 10.

Going back to the Windows 10 VM, you mentioned that your [entire?] SSD was encrypted by Bitlocker [For all partitons? I'm not familiar with Bitlocker since I use Avira AV instead of Windows Defender AV] and that you have now unencrypted it. I wonder if Bitlocker's encryption on your Windows 11 partition had anything to do with why the game under the Windows 10 VM failed. You could try running the game again under the Windows 10 VM again to see if it now works without the "Unknown Exception Code c06d007e" error (If Bitlocker covers all partitions then you should be okay to try out the game under the VM again. If your Windows 11 partition is still encrypted then try unencrypting it and then try out the game under the VM again).

Please let me know what happens~!

Dear Master Rob,

Thank you very much for your continued support and patience with me.

BitLocker is a full-disk encryption feature included with Windows, designed to protect data by providing encryption for entire volumes. Now everything is unencrypted. While attempting to run the game within the Windows 10 VM, as you suggested, the error message unfortunately persists.

Following your suggestion, I have confirmed that my motherboard utilizes both UEFI and GPT.

I've asked ChatGPT again.

Question:
"The Windows 10 installation media usually includes the latest drivers, but if a specific SSD driver is needed, you can download the driver, save it to a USB, and select 'Load driver' during the installation screen to add it. Could you explain this part in detail?"

Answer:
If a specific SSD is not recognized during the Windows 10 installation, it may require a particular driver. Here's how you can download the driver, save it to a USB drive, and load it during the installation process:

Identify the SSD Manufacturer and Model:
Confirm the manufacturer and model of your SSD. You can find this information in the device documentation or by checking your computer's system information.
Visit the SSD manufacturer's official website to find the necessary driver.

Following these steps, I determined that my SSD is a NVMe WD PC SN560 SDDPNQE-1T00-1002 model manufactured by Western Digital.

Unfortunately, I was unable to locate a suitable driver on the official Western Digital website. Through a Google search, I discovered WD_NVMe_Driver_v3.3.2102.41615, a potentially compatible driver.

After downloading the driver, I extracted the files and transferred them to a USB drive.

Proceeding with the Windows 10 installation, I reached the point of selecting the drive for installation. However, my SSD was not listed. I then clicked on the "Load Driver" option.

Unfortunately, the system displayed an error message stating, "The signed device driver could not be found. Make sure the correct driver is included in the installation media, then click OK."

Encountering this new obstacle, I am unsure how to proceed. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry about my confusion with Bitlocker and Windows Defender - I don't use any hard drive encryption/decrytion protection because it would slow down hard disk access (And subsequently Windows) on my older machine with all of the "On the fly" decrypting and encrypting during READ and WRITE operations that Bitlocker performs. Bitlocker is good for security but only if your machine doesn't have to take a performance hit with Bitlocker's use (It's good to use with newer, faster machines like the one that you have, should you require such security).

Hmm, I see that you have one of the newer NVMe (Non Volatile Memory Express) SSDs that have a PCIe interface instead of an older SSD that uses a SATA interface. I found a page in the "SuperUser" site that may be of help (See here).
🤔

Try to ensure that the SATA settings in your mobo's UEFI are set to AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) (See the first answer in the "SuperUser" page). I realize that your NVMe SSD uses a PCIe interface and not a SATA interface but AHCI mode should be set in UEFI to be used as opposed to IDE or RAID modes being set, so that the Windows 10 installation program should be able to see your SSD and not be confused with matching up the possibly compatible WD_NVMe_Driver_v3.3.2102.41615 SSD controller driver that you found to the SSD controller for your WD PC SN560 SDDPNQE-1T00-1002 SSD. A SSD controller driver allows a SSD controller to control various models of SSDs. I believe that each SSD does not have a particular controller driver that is written for its controller to exclusively control the given SSD. Various different models of SSDs can possibly be controlled by a given SSD controller that uses a common driver, so the driver you found may still work [Be compatible] despite the Windows 10 installation program's compatible ["signed"] driver not found message. Afterwards, try to run the Windows 10 installation program again.

If there is no AHCI mode setting in your mobo's UEFI then do not change the SATA settings and instead try downloading the "Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST)" driver (Download here), extracting the folder with the controller driver's files into your USB stick, and select that driver during the "Load driver" option in the Windows 10 installation program (See the second answer in the "SuperUser" site's page).

If none of the above possible solutions work for you then try contacting (via phone) Western Digital's support site (See the "Consumer Product Support" section for the toll free 800 contact phone number - Be prepared for wait times for service) and try to explain the problem with the Windows 10 installation program not being able to recognize the WD_NVMe_Driver_v3.3.2102.41615 SSD controller driver during the "Load driver" option for use with your WD PC SN560 SDDPNQE-1T00-1002 SSD (If you have to go with this route then please let me know what the WD Help Desk technician says).

I hope that this further helps you~!

I don't seem to recall any conversation with you about Doom 4 (Maybe it was when we first encountered each other in this section) but that's besides the point. Please do copy and paste the contents of that "CRASHLOG.TXT" text file in a reply comment here (You don't need to DM it to me as the FastComments DM may be under the same character count limitation as the comments) or at either Pastebin sites (See my previous reply).

The "Entry Point not found" error may indicate a problem with your installation of the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime (One of library files could be corrupted). Try to uninstall it and then ensure that you install the latest version of the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime (See here. Scroll down to where it says "Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022" and then click on the appropriate download link for your version of Windows).

As for finding a legitmate [Genuine] installation DVD to purchase, you can check out various sellers on eBay (See search results here. The third result (See here) looks good though you may want to further "Shop around" for a lower price using other search criteria on eBay) as most of the "Big name" electronics stores like Best Buy, MEI MicroCenter and NewEgg are most likely to only sell Windows 11 Genuine Installation Discs (DVDs) now that support for Windows 10 by Microsoft will end in October 2025 (See here. Windows 10 is officially on its "Last legs" though many gamers will probably still support its use, especially given the problems that Windows 11 currently has with running old games that were built for at most, Windows 10).
