What is the current trend? games that are not really games? for example narrative "games"? walking simulator "games"? artsy "games"?

Apparently the trend is:
"I'ma compile and rename my first attempt at learning Unity from 'My First Game' into something else and put it on Steam."
I hear it's quite popular!

So then, is it stereotyped bad to be a freethinker?
For example, most gamers praises Dark Soul. I think it is boring (to repeat the same enemy over and over and over it is not what I call fun).

The irony in the famous quotes is superb. Tbh, I always found boring the life the philosophers (ancient greeks) said we had to live to live a happy/fulfilling life. "Moderated life" my ass LOL
