There is a game breaking bug in the game that prevents you from continuing. There is a good 7 - 10 hours of gameplay before reaching it but until it's been updated here you can't continue playing.
Could be because your using windows 10 the version of rpgmaker used to make this game isn't well liked by windows 10. Try going into properties and changing the compatibility to windows 7
I get we're all still nostalgic about the SNES era but is it not finally time to get nostalgic about the PS2 era as it's already been 20 years? Retro should now mean games similar to Dark Cloud, Xenosaga, Shadowhearts, Rogue Galaxy, Suikoden, Dark Chronicle and all the SMT classics. I don't believe there was ever a better decade for gaming and maybe life in general than the '00's. I still miss George Dubya.
I don't mind 2D or even RPG Maker but a lot of these devs are pretty lazy about it. They just use stock assets with loads of lighting effects and pre-made scripts then charge money for it. There are wonderful scripts out there that allow the game to look far more 32bit era along the lines of Grandia or Shining Force III with scaling and rotating but none of these cool systems ever find their way into a full game. This looks samey.
