when i get to the screen when i pick a language i cant control the game at all, cant even use my keyboard or controller, it wont work, is there anyone else that has this problem?
Hopefully some easier instructions if you are having issues:
download the game as usual, extract, run the installer
Next you also need to download the crack fix (under this page's instructions) and extract that. Move that "Kingdom.Hearts.Melody.of.Memory.Crackfix-CODEX" folder into the folder with the actual game application.
WIthin the crackfix folder, there should be a folder titled CODEX, select all the files (3 if I remember correctly) and move them into the normal Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory folder. It will ask you if you want to replace, select yes, move and replace. Now hopefully the game should work As someone who loves the Kingdom Heart music and rhythm games, this is really enjoyable to play! If you are using a controller like me (I have a cheap xbox-style controller) it seems that on occasion the game may not recognize the controller (some buttons may not work). It happened the very first time I opened the game (I just restarted the game and the controller then worked fine) and randomly when I went to the options menu the controller didn't work (I just replugged it and pressed random buttons and it started working after a minute or two). Either way, it runs surprisingly well on my HP laptop (8gb ram, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-5300U CPU @ 2.30GHz, AMD Radeon R7 M260X). I definitely hope to buy it if it gets cheaper :P
it show up the loading screen but the game don't launch and then epic games start launching is this link helpfull?? and where to paste when downloaded??
im stuck at the part where you have to attack three enemies at once during the tutorial, does anyone have a clue as to how to get past this? ive tried both ctrl and h+g+f, as suggested by the game popup
With a derpy sora face pop up that disappears immediately, tried launching it from the folder instead of desktop shortcut created by codex, tried launching in admin, did not work
Loved playing this game on Nintendo switch, Nice 2 see that many others will now be able to experience it on PC. I say it's a pretty nice average game for rhythm game lovers. Very challenging levels as well (Mainly the boss fights)
im glad to see this is now available here. I like rhythm games too but i just dont see the reason why i should spend on them (given my history of playing f2p rhythm games on my phone). So at least i can save some money and buy some more important games
