Trying to boot up the game by using the KH Birth By Sleep 0.2 executable, but I got the error saying "Unable to login. Returning to Epic Games Launcher." I saw I needed to have the Epic Games Launcher open while I did that, but it still refuses to work. Tried opening it with admin access, too. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Hello good. My solution to the game that does not start was to use the exe from this path. KINGDOM HEARTS 0.2 Birth by Sleep / Binaries / win64. I hope this helps someone.

for some people who cant oppened the game: go for epic web page download the launcher and install it login with you account or create one when see the main page load, open the game. enjoy. (thats the only way i play the game, without the launcher, crash)
Japanese voice is only available for KH3. The other KH games will require some modding for JPN voices which probably can be ripped from Final Mix versions not sure about Dream Drop Distance

i hate unreal engines,my only one laptop never can handle all games using unreal engines 4, always stuttering,lag and voice not sync...just like fragment,DDD can play smooth without problem but fragment....bruh...i hate unreal engines 4....its stopping me to play AAA games i want to venture....buys another pc or laptop with more powerfull engines is out of question...my monthly payment jobs is low that i cant buy another pc after working a year!!!

Among the kh2.8, I can play 0.2 Birth by Sleep but somehow the others are having frame rate problems the moment it launches, even in the opening cut scene. Any fix for it?

Get a program such as daemon tools lite or alcohol 52% that lets you mount a virtual optical drive. Mount the ISO, run setup.exe from the "disc", copy the contents of the codex folder into the game folder after the install is done. If you don't want to bother with a virtual drive, use 7zip to extract the contents of the ISO.
You actually don't NEED the physical cards. You can just look up pics of the cards online and those work just as well. I know because I did the same thing with my old 3ds. How that system was implemented into this remaster however...no idea
why dont make the Re-coded and 358/2days playable now? its greathe iff doing the same like chains of memories, and with that 2 games, the tactil screen not need it
On AVG Antivirus, so things are a bit different from Avast, but if you run into a problem with saving your game after the first run, on AVG I had to disable "Picture files" protection on their 'ransomware protection', since the game (and KH3 as well, so be aware) saves the game as metadata in a PNG file... and overwriting a picture's metadata is kinda something viruses and ransomware do... Not sure if legit copies have this problem, or if it's only because of the altered files in the crack. To be clear, I didn't have that problem the first time I ran the game, only on subsequent times playing.
