gonna need some help here, 2nd time i've reinstalled this and still encountering the same problem. trying to launch Prototype 2 from the exe or shortcut will launch it for a few seconds on a black screen before crashing with no error message. Crack's installed and that HID Device fix thing i've tried with no success

It's not a problem with this download but the game itself.
You use daemon tools to mount the first iso and run it, install as usual and when it asks for disk 2, mount the second iso file. After that copy the contents of the crack folder into your Prototype 2 install folder and select replace when prompted. Congrats, you can now enjoy prototype 2 in all it's performance issue ridden pc glory. :P Great game in all seriousness and I hope my explanation helps anyone who has issues installing/cracking this game.

I was stuck there for a second too, all you have to do is click browse when that window pops up, then you'll see that Prototype is mounted onto a disc, there should be a second disc drive under it that's empty, just select that, then click okay and it should continue.
You have to crack the game. First off, open the crack folder, select everything, right click, click "Cut", go back to your main game folder and CTRL+V.
I download all 10 parts. After I extract all files i have a folder. With DVD1 and DVD2 and a Crack folder, Can you tell me next step ? I am new at this.
mount dvd1 in a virtual drive (download via google search - clonecd is easy), install it, then -after a while it will say "insert disk2" or so. double click on DVD2, and continue installation. after all that is done, copy all files inside the crackfolder with ctrl+c, right-click on the desktop link of the game, choose "open filepath". it will bring you to the main game .exe - then just paste the files with ctrl+v. overwrite "everything", open the skidrow.ini, change username if you are a streamer and select your favourite language. NEVER CHANGE THE GAME ID !!! your done, have fun.
