I've had that happen before due to a multitude of reasons. (I will also list the fixes for them in this format) Screen wasn't capable of displaying the minimum resolution. (If desktop, get a better monitor, if laptop, get a better computer) Something else is running ,such as an antivirus or antimalware that is conflicting with it. (Disable your antivirus) Your antivirus has removed a file the game needs to run, but the launcher doesn't. (Reinstall the game and add the game folder as an exception for the antivirus before first run) Computer doesn't meet minimum requirements to run it. (Get a better computer) Your graphics driver is out of date. (Go to your graphics manufacturer website and download the latest update) Some files got corrupted during install. (Reinstall the game)
hey i got black screen i played it for a while and now got black screen in main menu and the characters dont appear and tavern is all black plz reply me
I had a similar problem with another game, Postal 2. I tried running it as administrator, and it worked, I was able to save. So I would suggest running as admin. Hope this works for you as it did for me.
