Hello fellow players! Here is a way to fix your control problems! There maybe a problem with the input file. Going into RegistryEditor and deleting the "ConfigData" file at the address: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\EXP\SoA may resolve this issue. To do this: i. Open the Run dialog box (Win+R) ii. Type in "regedit" (without the "") and hit enter. iii. In the top white bar, you can copy and paste HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\EXP\SoA into the location. iv. Right click the "ConfigData" file and delete it. v. Try launching the game again.
I had to download this somewhere else because every time I tried to install it the GOG .exe is grey (after extraction) and wouldn't do anything when I click on it. You might want to check this upload (also I tried downloading it here on mega and google and both gave this result.) Also the GOG version that I downloaded elsewhere didn't have this issue. I figured out that for some reason, the file fixes itself once its moved out of the folder it's extracted to, probably has to do with how it was zipped. Either way, if it's blank then try moving it to a different location and see if that fixes it.
SOSCR: Save game before fighting respawned Lineages. The best reward is 1 Secret Tech V. Invincible trait is exactly the same at the passive Knights gain by level 21. But level 26 passive from Cleric protects from every status including insta-kill, paralyze (cannot use spells) and charm. Stun is called "K.O." and insta-kill is called "Critical" in this game. Changes in Revisited:
NG+ no more: dungeon included Replaced by stat potions and (super rare) slot skill unlocking potions "Secret Tech V.", maximum 10 each, starts with 3 slots Removed Mumic eating gear, can enhance at the base. Unlimited class change (but steeper cost)
Butterfly XP gain is nerfed, butterfly ambush no more
New debuff: Curse equipment lasting whole battle (devastating if armor is cursed)
Some bosses have a weird trick that fails and counterattacks repeated use of skills/spells.
If a enemy hit anyone defending with the right weapon (physical to physical, magic to magic) it'll be stunned.
Add Grimoire (XP book). Just a money sink, beside enhancement.
Lower difficulty: Beginner 3 "team wipe" saves until returning to base (very low level enemies - not recommended), Easy 1 "team wipe" save (lower level enemies)
New class: Puppeteer (meh), Clocker (x2 moves @ 28 - Master Cast casts 6 times, can be 12 with Fast Spell @ 14?) and benchwarmer
Hiding cost increases by 3 (instead of 15) every ambush
Deprived trait: less time rolling stats, got a 27 roll in 15 min (2 LP character). Note that the protag will have no vanish (Chosen One) buff instead.
I'm not sure if this is darksider fault or pc port is suck but whenever I quit the game even choosing quit option at main menu. the game crashes. well at least it doesn't crashes anywhere else but quitting game only. by the way, I only have 30 mins of combine both game and I think I enjoy enough. time to drop. gotta admit the only thing that caught my eyes is Saviors of Sapphire character design is so beautiful. I like Eraste. anything other than that. I'm not interested. I love to continue the journey (Continue to proceed with main story) so I can see Eraste again. but don't want dungeon crawler games.
Were you able to make it work? I cant find FF 15 A2 E6 16 00 and FF 15 9A E4 14 00 . I'm no hex expert so I don't know what those are supposed to be. Patch that you can download sadly does not work too so I'm kinda stuck.
can't install this. I run setup it says virus or malware. When i go to virus & threat protection it only has remove or quarantine but not allow on device. How can i run it?
I just tried the meganz link, disabled adblocker, and when I clicked on the download button, instead of sending the file to mega, like it SHOULD, it loaded up another page. I think its their ad provider has gotten a wee bit shady lately. It's not the time I've had a problem in the past month or so.
so uhhh, this is a download for an iso, that launches an installer that doesn't have ANY of the usual installer or darksiders stuff, and just goes "pick a folder>install"? also it seems like it just makes a couple of empty folders with VERY little in them anyone else concerned?
Stranger of sword city revisited is one of those decent dungeon crawler RPG out there. Recommended especially the vita version. Haven't tried the Saviors of sapphire wings yet.
I've played stranger of sword city when it first came out. It's a decent game, but it was hella hard if you didn't know what to do or which skills to pick. Also kinda grindy.

I have not been able to fix it yet. If anyone finds out how to fix it, please share your solution if you have the time to spare. This game piqued my curiosity.
On Steam store page it says that Windows 7 and 8 are not supported so if you are using win 7 like me it may be impossible to run it. Stranger of Sword City you can play if you download old version that is standalone but i dont know how many differences are there between this and the old version.
Thanks Kanzan. I am using Windows 7, which explains the error. It is such a shame that Windows 7 ended up limiting what I can use, but such is life. I'll settle for watching gameplay footage to sate my curiosity. This still beats struggling with all the idiosyncrasies of Windows 10, though I do admit I am surprised to see something support Windows 10 while it does not support Windows XP (These developers are pioneers).
The Options menu only show up after the first battle in Saviors of Sapphire Wings (type F for the menu screen), you can change the keybindings there and put the game in fullscreen. The games have gamepad support also. (I was struggling with the controls and such, so here it is a bit of unwanted help)
That way games are far more antivirus reliable.
