I already requested the update in the Game Request section but other peeps should request it as well to increase the chances that it will be posted as soon as possible in order to avoid a prolonged wait.
I didn't request a scene group crackfix. I had requested the officially released Steam update. I understand your logic but unless you're actually in a scene group, you can't really speak for them on their behalf. Who really knows whether a proper crackfix will be released by any one of the groups to fix this problem. In the meantime, there is the official Steam update.
It is probably like that game Death Come True and they never bothered to test if it works on Windows 7 before releasing it despite claiming it runs on Windows 7 and up.
Forget Windows 10. Windows 11 is going to be released soon this year -> https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11. MS had said that Windows 10 was going to be the last version of Windows since it was going to be a service instead of a product but look at things now! LOL!
