Unless I'm doing something wrong you can SELECT English in game but tons of stuff still has no translation so basically impossible to play

it has.
click the 4th tab in menu, then click the box at the right side of Fullscreen/Window. then u will see 'English'

The method used to crack games is similar to the method used to code malware! Anti-virus programs will detect the crack as a virus and delete it, even though it isn’t! :)
