It's possible for me to install the game but nothing no crack folder even if I disable windows defender. So the game open steam and it's not possible for me to play. does anyone else have weird lags between scenes or transitions? I get half second freezes everytime I reach the finish line. In the microsoft version the game was running perfectly fine without any stuttering or freezes.
If you do more research you will find that crack files often give a generic false positive from most AV programs because they are similar to how a virus would be distributed, but in this case its just a normal hoodlum release.
Anyone else having the game crash on the second portion in the intro? Just as I'm about to race what looks to be a trophy truck in the winter it freezes and crashes before giving over control of the vehicle. Any fixes?

if you have AMD try the driver from end of 2018. Add a rule in the antivirus to the folder. Turn off wifi, turn on lan even not connected to internet. Close every other application. Even with all that I could only play around 1 hour without crash, the game is filled with bugs, even the official version, Microsoft is lazy.

I can't travel to lego valley when I click travel the menu and ui disappears and then the game gets stuck and doesn't even turn off (I turned it off with task manager) any solutions?
this is a great racing game, really fun with friends. you guys should consider buying it when its on sale. i do not recommend buying this at full price as i heard rumors that Forza Horizon 5 is about to be released. but yeah, really fun game.
They should say this version doesn't work at all, filled with bugs and omission, thanks the all mighty Micro. It's a demo at best, 1 hour of gameplay at best without steering wheels, sounds half working, scene half loading, etc.

I used the link gofile option. extracted used and daemon pro to load the ISO, when I try to launch exe file I get error operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software. I cant by pass it, anivirus is turned off....anyone help?
ok so I managed to make it work. I disabled real time protection in windows. Go to settings > Update and Security > Virus & threat protection > manage settings and switch real time protection to off
The files are fine. When you download them and open the setup (the HOODLUM setup) just uncheck the "include crack", do it yourself by copying the files and pasting them in the game folder. And one more thing, don't forget to disable antivirus before starting the HOODLUM setup. Also, my windows version is 20H2 so I can confirm that it works.

Ran into a strange bug when I first ran the game. There was no setting for uncapped fps so I set it at 60. The first time I ran the benchmark, the fps was uncapped as I was getting 90 fps during the benchmark even though it was set for max 60 fps in the settings. Then I ran a second benchmark, this time it did cap out at 60. Afterwards, I went into the settings and the "Unlimited" option was showing where it didn't show before.

I found a way to do it. download HxDen (or other hex editor) open the file "steamclient64.dll" from forza horizon 4 folder, go to offset 009B1500 or CTRL+F and search for "gtg" and change HOODLUM to whatever name you want, it has available 7 characters, i dont know if you can write more, if your name doesn't occupy all characters you can press the space bar and it will appear blank in the game

I haven't downloaded it yet so I'm kinda running blind as to the contents. But I'll try and help anyway. Have you installed downloaded games before? Just in case you haven't, I'll go through all the steps.
Extract the archive. It's likely there should be an .iso file in there, around 100 gigs.
Mount the iso to your virtual drive. If you don't have one installed, get Daemon Tools or extract the iso like you would if it was a .rar, .zip or 7z file.
There should be a setup file in either the extracted contents or the iso file (if you were able to mount iso to virtual drive)
Hit setup and install as normal. Apply crack afterwards. Crack file should be in a folder in the iso or in the extracted setup folder. Disable all AV before Step 1 and then make an exception for your install folder before re-enabling AV.
Yes. it does work, like 90% of the games release on Steam u can also crack the MP, unlike what that guy said. Unless a game have a server side protection or a dev goes out of his way to prevent it, most releases on steam recieve an MP crack the same day that the game itself it's cracked. I have been playing MP cracked games on Steam since modern warfare 2.
They are not "cracked servers". but yeah u can only play wiith people that are also playing the cracked version but what was your poiint ? I Never saiid that you could play like u bought the game.... Sure u will have a lot less players to play with than the original, but it's a far cry than having no multiplayer ata ALL.

Everything works perfectly and flawlessly, I have windows 20h2 build and having no issues while launching game, windows detects installer as v1rus but it is safe to install, you might have some stuttering issues, maybe because it's first release on steam and need a bit optimization, but everything else works fine.

I see that's nice, because last time... I think it was march or may of last year update of win 10, the game will force quit after opening and others had the same problem too. I guess I will DL this again if I'm bored.
I wish I knew they were gonna release a Steam version like years ago before I bought mine. The Windows store games are God awful... Slow downloads, installation always gets corrupted one way or another which will need you to reformat the whole fucking drive because the game folder wouldn't be accessible to manually delete it and a whole load of other problems..
yeah ditto to all that, but you shouldn't need to format whole drive just gotta figure out MS stores setup game are installed a couple different places or hidden from sight to us users... something like spacesniffer program can help find "giant" size folders on PC which is likely where all the space goes, i had to use that everytime i "removed" a MS store game cause my space was still used up. i can't vouch for other MS store games, but Phantasy Star Online 2 both had performance issues, and took up more than TRIPLE (its ~80gb, was taking 200+) cause MS store BS. installed PSO2 from steam and guess what, ZERO issues and only 76gb even forza Horizon 4 i had on MS store game pass had been stil taking space when i removed it like a year ago.
I actually used a similar program to try and force myself to access the files but it just didn't work. Even tried opening the drive on Linux but still nothing. Total witchcraft I tell you. I also couldn't uninstall at the time because it needed to be installed again cause god knows why. I just went fuck it and reformatted every time it happened. I think my problem happens because I install it on an external drive with the rest of my games. I feel like MS games don't like that but damn is it inconvenient.

This error can be for multiple things, not enough RAM, a torrent that didn't download the 100% of the files, GPU driver, etc... Google is the only way.
add star to google drive do it quick before it taken down second make a new file for the game like he/she do third select all your file and drag it to your new file last one right click you new file and hit download it will take time but it will get a job done
