Make a new folder and add it to the exceptions list of your firewall then unzip the game into that folder. That error comes from a missing dll file which is probably deleted by your antivirus/firewall.
I've downloaded it, even sent it to friends and it works. Are you sure your hardware is enough for this game? The store page says minimum gtx 1060, it's very demanding. There should be a game update soon(tm) so just check back another time, I'll be sending new content updates as they come out.
That's just one planet, each planet seems to have its own anomaly, some you trigger, some just happens like that. The water rises every minute, theres a lil timer in the middle of the screen. This game isn't obvious and imho requires patience, i'm not surprised not many people get along with it which is fair enough. For myself though, I love space exploration and discovering new things. Dying isn't game over for me, it's learning what to avoid next time. It's not a game you play to win xP

Yeah man, I agree with this statement. Trying to explain to my GF the difference of why d/l torrents can get you busted while d/l from sites don't. She just hears "Downloading" and doesn't take in account that torrents also SHARE the files you're actively downloading. Honestly, I liked NMS at launch. I didn't read all the hype and articles about it, I simply saw the first trailer and then a few years later I played it. So since I didn't hear all the lies, I just got to enjoy a sort of mellow, open-ended exploration game. Then they started updating it to be like what everyone else wanted and I lost interest.

Yeah, I think I can agree on that. I played NMS after the beyond update or something (don't remember its name) and the only fun thing in the game was the spaceship/character upgrades and the visual effects for space travel. I am biased though, I am a sucker for games that let you upgrade stuff.

I am replying because I just watched the video you sent on "astronauts being in a pool and the whole deadly nuclear radiation in space". I knew about both of the matters before this, but it still gave me a thought on the matter. Why do they show us these spacewalks/ any space cam-related stuff at all if it is fake?
Is it to keep hope in the supposedly future way of space travel and as sort of a fake "escape earth plan B" in people's minds because we are ruining the planet daily and nightly?
If space travel at all is impossible because of the radiation and maybe the fact that we can't develop any realistic way to travel safely in space then isn't it possible that they are lying about that to keep people from panicking and from stopping any true public outrage at companies and the amount of waste and pollution we spew while destroying any and all resource we come across.
Also, is the whole alien shtick we see in the media and witnesses, and is other alien prooving material fake too? Because if we cant enter space at all without being surrounded by a 10-meter thick box of lead. How is it possible that aliens managed to make these ships to come here? Also what if all the spacewalk footage is fake then maybe they have real tapes (or don't depending on if we can even bring a camera and protect it from radiation) of the supposedly real events and they are secret because of real aliens or something else involved?
