i just tried to run the Deeper Dungeons content and after a bit of looking around as to why it wouldn't work i found this thread: https://www.gog.com/forum/dungeon_keeper_series/how_to_get_deeper_dungeons_working/?search=deeper apparently the download here is one of the early copies from GOG as newer versions no longer have the deeper dungeons content nor are they officially supported (which raises the question: why include them in the first place if your just going to pull support for them and remove them entirely later?). so yeah, apparently you're gonna have to do some work on your own to get the expansion content to work with this game. welp, i'm gonna go ahead and test the method shown in that thread. will edit this post to say if it works or not. oh and deeper dungeons DOES boot up normally from the start (gotta use the shortcut for it in the install directory) but it closes automatically when you choose a dungeon to start. edit: darn...still didn't work. i clicked a dungeon from the list and it went to the loading screen and...nothing. the game still closed out on me. the DEEPER.exe IS in the installation directory however so the expansion IS there but i can't figure out how to access it without the game closing out like above. edit2: oh, just an FYI but the old modding method of editing the CREATURE text file (in still works like it always did so theres still that you can mess around with.
o.O what game are these screenshots from? cause, while they look to be a game LIKE DK, they're clearly from a different newer game. this original dungeon keeper game, while good and all, doesn't have graphics anywhere close to that high quality plus the HUD is completely different. especially the 2nd pic on this page. if that's a dungeon heart with the stairs leading up to it then that is definitely not THIS game. all that aside... OMG, the black flickering of the screen is actually fixed! SWEET! but...is it the same with the 2nd game you have up for download here as well? cause i've tried a GOG download of that before and it always kept flickering among a few other problems.
I understand that this comment is well over a year old at this point. But I had the sudden urge for Dungeon Keeper and saw the screenshots on here and was confused like you. And if you still don't know. I did a tiny bit of searching and the game that the screenshots are from is Dungeons from 2011.
When opening the exe, did you get a rar file, or am I missing something?
