If you install the game and go to Add-Ons and then exit Add-Ons it will tell you it found new DLC installed and Do you want to activate it now? Choose NO. If you choose Yes, the game will crash on start, forcing you to reinstall the game. The DLC is pre-activated, no need to allow this crippling function to run.

According to Bethesda, the game only has traditional Chinese text. There is no voice translation for Chinese. Best guess: look for mod/patch on Nexus that adds Chinese voice.

This error is usually caused by incomplete files during download. If you downloaded each file individually then there's not all that much you can do except redownload the whole thing. Torrents usually work better for this kind of thing as you can re-verify the torrent and it will check for corrupted/missing data and fix it. TLDR: Just redownload all the files. i do suggest you install the updates but your pc might be just shit, updating it only repairs bugs and makes modding more accessible for example if you don't update it only like 3 mods would work :D so do update for great experience
Can't use Nexus unless we get the 1.10 update; many of the best mods are updating to require 1.10. It's not like we want creation club, we just need the rest of the patch, even if creation club is rendered non-functional.

You may be able to download the 1.7 update tell it to install to your desktop or something then copy the files into your data folder in fallout. I'm not sure though so i would back up the files.

hello, i have a problem, i installed everything as in the instruccions, after i install the updates i could play fine, but when i installed the updates and the language pack in the menu i cant press anything, its says press any boton to continue, but in the menu it just dosent work.
so i reinstall everything and test the game with each update, the problem was the language pack, i have to install the language pack before the updates? or dosent matter, was the spanish pack btw.

To apply 1.7 to the game, download the 1.7 update, copy everything in the update folder you just downloaded, then paste all of it into the Fallout 4 folder. Do the same thing for the other updates

This is how it works: The first 13 files are the base game (version 1.1.???) the 13 PARTS are all one file, a single archive split up for a few reasons. they contain an installer so you can install the game and a crack. And yes the game is just that big (about 25GB) each update is the same way, they are each one file split into 1GB parts with an installer and a crack. you MUST install them in order 1.7 1.8 1.9. Again the game really is that big (about 50GB). If you only download one of the parts you won't have a complete file and it won't be usable in any way
To answer both your questions: yes you must install all updates and in order. As for being sent to the steam page you must crack the game, the simplest way to do this is rename all the folders next to the installers that say "crack" to "CODEX" and when installing select the option "copy contents of CODEX folder?" also make sure when updating to select the same install directory every time

I didnt apply the updates cz idk how to, I did extract all of them together as well. What should i do? If you want to check yours specs go to control panel, then press system and security then press system and check your cpu (Processor) and press device manager and there press display adapter to know your GPU
This cracked version doesn't work for everyone. Especially the menu bug. For what i have seen, the problem is not the configuration in some files and not the controller problem. the problem is the crack itself cause when i downloaded the cracked version of noSTEAM (updated to 1.8 with all dlcs) i had 0 problems. Ok, maybe i have generalized a little too much saying "who is interested in playing the game", but if im right and this cracked version is bugged, well...there will be A LOT of people having problems. But i already know that igg won't change crack, so idc ^^

Ok i fixed it. First UNINSTALL Fallout 4 completely. Then REINSTALL it, and UPDATE the game with 1.7 AND 1.8 version. It will work EDIT: 1 more thing: If u download a language pack (it doesn't work anyway -.-) DON'T put the crack AFTER 1.8 version or u will fuck the game (menu buttons won't work)

If u updated the game with version 1.7 AND 1.8 the only thing i can suggest to u is open fallout4prefs.ini (in mydocuments/my games/fallout4 folder; if u don't have the folder in mydocuments, then go into the game folder and then fallout 4 folder) and put [General] bGamepadEnable=1 to bGamepadEnable=0 IF it doesn't work, i have no more other solutions, sry. (u can try to see some posts on steam. Lot of people have the same problem)

After updating the game to v1.8 (1.7.9) and after installing the language pack (in my case italian pack), i launch the game from Fallout4Launcher.exe (as said above in description). The menu is in italian, but it doesn't ask me which language to use. Infact, when im in game everyhing is in english. In italian is ONLY the launcher.

Apon finishing installation, I started the game. It said I was missing flexRelease_x64.ddl. I went and got this from a reliable source, and put it in the C:\Windows\SysWOW64, as it said I should. Rebooted my PC, and it says the same error. If somebody could help me fix this, that would be great. -Edit 12/18/16, I put it in the C:\Windows\System32, and it says I need other ddl's. So word to you guys, just put it in there, not your SysWOW64, regardless of a 32 bit or 64 bit, apparently.

Okay I downloaded 16 gig of UPDATE v1.7 and DLCs. I then ran the setup. The Launcher.exe worked properly but then the program reported that half the .dlls were missing.I loaded them from another source. I then ran Fallout4.exe and the program CTD. I then ran DXSETUP.exe and vcredist_x64.exe (missing from the download allong with the .dll files) and the program still CTD. Any advice on what to do now?

Did you crack it? If yes, WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO? If no, find a folder named Crack and open it. Then, copy everything inside it into the folder for the game and replace everything it prompts you to.

when these "Application error" occures, basically it has something to do with the runtime... Check inside the update & dlc folder weather there are any DX and/or Redist packs to install... Secondly, if you have any AV installed, disable for a short time your firewall and the AV such as the DeepGuard from FSecure (which causes this error) Thirdly and lastly, add the Application-Steam-x64.exe or Application-Steam-x32.exe to f-secures scan exclusion list. Hayden download the DLC / update 9 parts alone that should crack and update your game, if the installer cannot then you might need to download the whole game

yes after the 13 parts highlight all of them extract with winrar or 7zip run setup crack, run make sure it works, then download the 9 parts, repeat, then if that works if you want download a language pack and do the same thing hope this helps
A had a lot of the issues listed below, a fixed it by uninstalling nexus and cleared fallout 4 in my documents and under local in users-APPDATA and reinstalled fallout 4, for some reason the update/dlc installation keeps placing pieces of data across 2 of my hardrives a fixed it by selecting my main harddrive and it worked a can play fallout 4 with mods, dlc and everything, hoped this helped you guys too

I have had version 1.4 prior to this 1.7 update, I downloaded all the 9 parts of the DLC, installed them correctly, placed the crack in the folder, and game launches just fine, but when I press New Game or Continue or Load Game, it backs me out of the game and the game closes. All of them. Start from the top and work your way to the bottom, be sure to not to miss a step, and apply the respective crack to each one as you go. This is the most sure fire way of avoiding mistakes. It's tedious, but it's worth it.
Iam pretty sure that Vault - Tech worksop is out now for wuite some time, and if i read it right the 28.8.2016. Nuka World was relased as well. Or do you think that now we wait for final edition of the game. and than they upload the whole package at once.

actually, is the setting. it wasnt the crack. next time it happen, go to "Documents > MyGames > Fallout4". Fallout4Prefs .ini file in here has gamepad options, [General] bGamepadEnable=1 [Controls] bGamePadRumble=1 Set them both to 0.
Solution for d problem Open the file location Right click on fallout4.exe and click on properties. After the dialogue box opens click on compatibility tab Select run this compatibility mode for and select either Windows 8 or 7. If you have Windows 10 then select Windows 8. Then apply Now repeat the same with fallout 4 launcher .exe. Now run the game as administrator. Hope it works.

well, fallout game has issue with crashing your graphic card. you can solve this easily by down clock your pc. install something pf a overclock software like the "MSI Afterburner" and set the core clock to "-20"(previously, my game crash every 5 minute. now, it crash every 4 hours). also, what pc are you using and on which OS?
didnt matter. my friend got double titan and still crash. he have to downgrade the graphic card by 20%(using MSI afterburner) to run without crash. its like having free memory(or graphic capacity) for it to run without risk of crash.

I went ahead and cracked each update since IGG released the game on this webpage, but that's just me. Everything is working great and just as it should with my method. I say crack each one; it is proven to work and cannot hurt. Good luck.

I tried to download this a few weeks ago, and whenever i selected "new game", I would 3 minutes of broken-audio loading screen. Then the game closed. I have also noticed that in the main menu settings the audio option is loading continuously. I am no expert but I'm pretty sure the audio does not work. I don't know how best to go about fixing this though, as re downloading the game would take my computer hours. Any suggestions?

Anyone know if I install all the updates and extract the updates with the game? Or do I extract the game then put the updates into the folder to replace and place files.
i've had these same problem and i reinstalled all workshop dlc and it worked, but when it won't work for you reinstall whole game and then all updates from 1.4 to 1.6.9
When I get to the Main Menu after starting the game, it shows me in the Add-Ons tab that I got Nuka World, Vault-Tec Workshop and Contraption Workshop installed. But Nuka and Vault-Tec don't show up in the game. So why does it keep showing I got the two dlcs? I already checked for quests, too. Nothing. I can only use the contraption items at the workshop.
It's a glitch, in the real Fallout 4 it will say they are coming soon or available to buy, but because of the nature of the crack it will say that you have all of them.

In the 1.4 update folder should be a crack folder. Copy the content over and there you go. If you want to play with the latest DLCs you have to update from 1.4 all the way up to 1.6

no. you need to download 1.4 then 1.5 then 1.5.4 then 1.69. just go from top to bottom. if you just update to the latest one, you might not be able to play the DLC like far harbor and contraptions workshop.
Guys who never update any of these updates like me... its better for you to update to the latest version if you play with mod especially if the mod need F4SE. 1.6 is ok with mods BUT you have to see what mod you have. mod conflict AND huge script mod can corrupt save file. and major graphic mod with low pc can cause CTD.

My anti-virus claims that the "UPDATE v1.5 (Automatron and Wasteland Workshop DLCs are included)" is contaminated with a virus. I can't find any others to download that don't have some virus of sorts. The anti-virus claims that it is in the setup.exe and deletes it before I can get my mouse on it. You can try go to that path and see if Fallout4.exe is there. If its not, look for it and change it to that correct path. If it is, make a shortcut to it and put it on your desktop and try running that. (Taking a guess here)

You can run it if you are lucky... barely (it need's to use the hard drive which is WAY slower so about 5-6 minutes loading times every time something needs to load like looking to another direction it needs to use the hard drive and it's going to lag a lot beacuse of this ) if you wan't smooth gameplay invest in 8gb ram

download all but language packs, than install in the order you download them, main game > 1.4 update > 1.5 update > far harbor > contraptions workshop > 1.5.4 update than crack it with crack files from 1.5.4 update (aka copy files from CRACK folder to folder where you installed the game)
I am about to extract the files but was wondering if there is an update required to run Far Harbor? I have update 1.4 but not v1.5 because I don't want the expansion material. Has anyone had success running Far Harbor with update 1.4?
Since 1.5 is before far harbor in terms of download order on this website, I doubt it will work without the update. I also believe that far harbor came out after the update, so I would say with some certainty that it will not work without 1.5. You could always try though.
When you say launcher, you don't mean the second .exe file called fallout4launcher do you? You are suppose to run the normal .exe that is just called fallout4. Run it as administrator, and if that doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you except that your pc might not be up to specs.
you should be able to install it onto the external hard drive, just make sure you change the directory when you install. It should work, abiet slow, as external drives are usually not too great for speed.

Hey I'm still trying to figure this out myself; maybe we can work together on this? When you have installed the v1.4 update, you will get a folder called CRACK. Copy the contents and paste them into your game folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Fallout 4 as default). Beyond that; I can't get the game to work from the main screen. When I select "new" I get a loading bar and the game closes after a couple minutes. Anyway, I'm around for the next few hours and I'm down to figure all this out

You only need install base game, then install step by step Update/DLC. Only need select path to base game dir. Dont care about DLC folder or something, bro. (ONLY NEED SELECT PATH TO BASE GAME DIR again) :D

NB: Game CTD upon loading game (on all saves) after Update 1.5. Replacing the crack (.exe and .ini) with those provided in Update 1.4, fixed the crashing. However, no Automatron add-on seems to be present.
Dude, then just download the game from here and you won't have that problem. Most people don't own the game so it does not make sense to remove the installer.
It doesnt make sense to allow the installer to just extract the files and trust that the user can figure it out? Just like the OTHER DLC files on THIS SAME PAGE? Far harbour does it just fine, whats so fucking special about Wasteland workshop or The contraptions one that it needs a fucking MD5 Hash check on the FO4 files? Atleast be fuckign consistent. The far harbour download goes in whatever fucking folder i want, let the other DLCs do the fucking same.

Ok, let me get this clear, so you install the base game and then the updates right? Install the first 13 parts, then install automatron and workshop then far harbor, and the codex will wind it all up in the end? Just making this clear, reply if i'm wrong.
I would install update V1.4 first, then V1.5. Just in case some update components that are not present in V1.5, are in the V1.4 update. And yes, you basically got it right. But after you install the base game, you should copy and paste the cracked files into your game folder before you install any of the updates/DLCs. After every installation, you should always copy and paste the cracked files into your game folder, unless the steps listed tells you that it does not need to be cracked. Repeat this process until you are done installing everything. Then your done.

I use Geforce Expierance too I do not optimize since my card is factory overclocked (special edition 660 that can play 700 and 800 series compatable stuff) but yeah Nagara is right it works

I kinda feel like an idiot here- I read all the comments and I still have no idea. I mean, the installer didn't even put an icon on my desktop, so I found the one in the iso file and got some errors talking about missing dll files. I know you need to crack it, but I don't know where the crack is.
Download ALL the game parts and then extract them at once using Winrar or 7zip and install the game and copy the crack. Then if you want the latest patches you download v1.4 and install the patch and copy the crack. Do the same thing for v1.5 and Far Harbour. (place crack from the game/updates everytime (except for far harbour it makes the game crash when you load a save)). There you go. Hope it helped ;)
i had the same problem before i think, i cracked the game with the codex and installed everything but after you do this you need to put the stuff togheter in one file and then launch the game because the dll files are the game files wich arent in the crack folder

Thing just doesn't go further than ad fly ... it loads up ad fly but doesn't do anything next . There's a blank screen. Been waiting for hours and there's still a blank screen. Even the page doesn't load.
I downloaded all 31 parts of gta V and it works PERFECTLY you can also download mods for it and it still works. Took me 35 hours to download but it was worth it.
Was talking about the base game the dlc and the update those were unzipped no problem, had to download the base game from a torrent and then fiddle around with the stuff before applying the update from here and the dlc

depends on your graphics card, you might be able to handle it, but expect low fps, probable lag in game. you definitely won't be doing anything else simultaneously.

I reviewed it, and your should be able to handle it, but you'll need to tank your video settings for better results, if you don't the game will crash. I see no harm in downloading and trying it out.
So, this might sound a bit odd, but is it possible to download updates prior to 1.4? I've tried updating to that one multiple times, but every time, it seems to conflict with some of my mods and crashes to desktop near instantly. I had no issues with 1.2, and I am currently running 1.1, but the loading times are abysmal.
Antivirus picked up a trojan in the steamapi64.dll code in the update's CRACK folder. Might want to check it out, scrub it, and re-upload it if possible. Edit: Sorry, not the DLC. The update.
Had the same issue, said it was missing flexRelease_x64.dll. This happened to me when I checked the "do not create any system specific information" box before installing the base game. It worked fine until I applied the update. I reinstalled, without checking it this time and the update worked fine.

Might be a bit late, but after you have extracted all the download files at the same time, you should have a folder for Fallout 4, right? Within that file, you should see something called a .iso. Rick click on that with something like winrar or 7zip and you should see the crack folder. It should be named something like Codex, Prophet, or just Crack.
Every time i try to run it trought the launcher it crashes...but i need to load it up trought the launcher for the language pack. By just running the Fallout4.exe it works. Any ideas?

don't crack the iso file. install then where you installed add crack. take out of easybake oven. set timer on c-4 for 5 min. wait 6 min to cool. enjoy.
youre supposed to download them all and then put them all in a folder. once youve done that, extract the first part (fallout 4 part 1) then mount the .iso file (use poweriso) and then open the folder that poweriso has mounted and run setup. once youve downloaded it all just run fallout 4 from the folder that got created when you ran setup and youre good to go :) hope this helped a bit

This game has a roughly 26GB size just to download the game so its split up in a zip through 13 ~2GB sized encrypted files.
AV is off check is a must (No Viruses don't worry [Have Malwarebytes, so I would know.])
Put ALL 13 files into a folder so when you extract the first the extraction software can take all the data between those 13 files (The files are all part of one giant rar file, you can't skip any of these downloads and hope it works.)
Sound issues are fixable, Reddit post I think I used here fixed this for me, "Had this problem with Skyrim when it came out. This MIGHT fix it - Right click the speaker icon in the bottom right on Windows, and press "Playback devices" then highlight your speakers (will probably be one with a green tick) then click "properties" in the bottom right. Head to the advanced tab and change the "default format" to 16bit 48000 Hz (DVD Quality) or any of the other ones See if that works! Another thing I read was to reinstall directx. Theres a directx folder within your "steamapps/fallout4" and you should be able to run direct x there to do a reinstall. Give it a whirl. "
Lastly if you get directed to the steam page then you missed a step somewhere in downloading and inserting the cracked info over to let the game startup normally w/o steam. If anything else pops up then I can update this with an edit lol.

I have tried several times to get Fallout 4 up and running. Do I need every single one of the 13 parts extracted beforehand? I know that you extract the first one, but beyond that, not sure. Mounting the disk, I can do. I also believe that the .iso file may be corrupted in the original upload, because every time I try to get it up and running, it says that the.iso file is broken, and I have tried redownloading it several times. No, I do not have my anti-virus on. I am utilizing the Mega downloads website torrents. Parts 10, 11, and 13 are especially being troublesome, as they are constantly giving me the errors that state that the .iso file is broken. I am utilizing 7zip. I have checked the FAQ board too, and it doesnt show any kind of repair option to be able to fix either my archives or files. Please help? I can give PC specifics if need be.
You have to download all the files. Make sure that they are in the same directory. After that, ONLY extract the first file (part 01). Then the extractor utility will automatically retrieve data from the other files you have downloaded.
I torrented it from the 'official' page where pretty much every game has a CODEX installer. I also tried a version from pirate bay. Both bought me to steam. Sadly, I think you have to buy the game or edit the code so you can bypass steam. It seems like it's in the code, somewhere... Anyways, not much we can do, sadly. Good luck... -iPhynx
so when you open it with the setup open the codex/crack file it may say something else copy all the files in the codex/crack file, then find the file where the games file should be (should be in the program86x) and paste the files you copied in there hope i explained this the correct way and if i didnt check the tutorial lol
Same process as if the game wasn't cracked. Head over to http://nexusmods.com. They have a mod manager for fallout 4, or you can always just do the whole process manually. I actually prefer using the mod manager though. Oh and they also have tuts there too. It's a very straight forward and easy thing to do once you know what your doing.

you download all of this 1 to 13,then you extract the first part (it shouldn't tell you that when you open the downloaded part) just extract if it's ok

Fixed - Reinstall directx by going into the Fallout4/_CommonRedist/Directx Folder. Find the DXSETUP app and reinstall it. Once it's done, play the game and all audio will work.

when using the installler im about 3/4 of the way through the installation when i get an 'is done.dll error box with black in it. I press ok and it rolls back the changes and says installation failed... any ideas
It should on low or medium settings, but I would look into getting more RAM. The game will run just fine on even an i3 processor, though RAM is where the performance comes from. I believe 8 GB of RAM is the standard.
So everything works. I've both tested and played this cracked game from IGG since it was uploaded. I've updated the game when the new update came out, and I've beaten the main storyline twice. Mods work, Settings work, Damn near everything works except for two quests that I cannot complete. The Brotherhood trail and The Coffee Machine quests. However, I think that it is a bug for the pc version of Fallout 4 and not because of the crack. Overall, I give this crack a 4.8/5. Thank you so very much, IGG! Oh yeah I forgot to mention that this game can be ran on an i3 pc, for anyone who might have doubts. I have an Alienware Alpha i3 with 8GB of RAM, and the game runs just fine at around 30-50 FPS. Only issue is when I go inside of a building and turn on my Pipboy light; then the game runs slower. My fix was to simply reduce the games resolution to lower than 1080p. Worked like a charm. Now I'm always getting more than 30 fps no matter where I go or what I do. Unless your worried about not getting perfectly crisp GFX, turning down the resolution and getting an i3 will work just fine. Have fun.
Yeah Fallout should work just fine for you. Just make sure to turn down the resolution a bit to fit your expected FPS. Intel is a computer processor by the way not a certain computer; my Alienware has an Intel i3 processor in side of it. Check above my original post for more info; I replied to your post from 5 minutes ago as well. And if for some reason Fallout 4 doesn't work on your computer, at least it's a free download. =D Good luck.

Hey, Why does my Fallout 4 crash when I run it? I tried installing it then playing it. Doesn't work. I tried uninstalling it then installing it again then played it. Still nothing. I did the same thing but this time updated it but still nothing. I screwed around with the files. nothing. Tried other help. Did nothing and still crashes upon startup. I even moved files such as (Fallout4.cdx, steam_api64.cdx) into the data folder and replaced it. That's what I thought I was suppose to do. Mainly I did almost everything and you are pretty much my last hope of playing this game before just deleting it. Is there anything else I have to do? or is it just the game not wanting to work because of my computer specs.
FIXED Just find the process TipTap.exe in task manager. Close the process, and run the game again. It works for me. The same problems to me, every 10 or 20 minutes crashed and closed.
Chances are it's your computer specs. Did you even look at what the min is to run it? Did you read other post further down? Because I know for a fact there are three different web sites provided (two by me one by another mod) for people to go to that will see if a game will work on your computer or not.

'Can't Draw weapon and/or attack' bugs can be fix with (just follow the instruction i found in some forum,it works): "Found a console command that fixed it for me! Here it is During normal gameplay (not in VATS, a terminal, a conversation, a menu, etc.) , open the console and run the command 'DumpInputEnableLayers' If you see a Layer there, note it's number. Have you experienced any crashes? Seems like silver shroud quest causes crash whenever i want to move closer to the spot where is guy called "Northy" and since then the game have been crashing in almost whole cambridge.
do U know what to do by sound problems? do U have some? sometimes sound goes and comes back poor quality but mostly it isn't there... and sometomes only by game beginning sound is ok and always when I stop game or I go read some stuff... but by open world sound sucks
you have to open the codex file that you extracted and you just move the files in it into the file with the executable fallout 4 that lead you to steam, i don't know if i was clear enough sorry
The game is in English, but when I put the patch in Spanish I only change the interface language Fallout4Launcher, when I start heading still all in English.

run on lowest settings...focus on Performance .. maybe its not compatible maybe? and remember to manually set system to run the game on the right graphic cards.. in my case i configure it in NVIDIA control panel

I downloaded the game fully and installed it correctly and then I made sure that I had all the required drivers and stuff and that all of my drivers are up to date and I installed the crack correctly, but the game still only runs for about 5 seconds with a black screen and then it goes back to the desktop and closes. I followed all of your instructions properly but it still will not work AT ALL!!!! and I am getting very annoyed.
ok installed it, MANUALLY placed the crack, and I'm in the game playing now -edit- My suggestion to you is to mount the disk, go inside the disk, select everything inside the CODEX folder and drag it into the directory of where ever you installed the game. and have it REPLACE everything. Then run the game. Get into the habit of running the install and NOT telling it to auto apply the crack and do it your self.
When it loads go into the disk Thats where you double click on My computer. On the left hand side you see My computer. C: drive and any other hard drives or DVD burner/player listed there. You will see the virtural drive located there. Click that to see the contents of the ISO
There will be a CODEX folder go into that.
Select everything in there
Hold down the CTRL key and hit C
Go into the game DIR (In my case F:\Fallout 4)
Hold in CTRL and hit V to paste the crack into the folder.
Launch the game. When you installed the game it showed whats in the pic. In the rainbow letters it says COPY CONTENTS OF CODEX DIRECTORY TO INSTALLERDIR. Never put a check mark in there. You want to install the crack MANUALLY you want to learn doing it manually because not every crack is the same and will simply place the crack in the folder for you. This way you LEARN how to crack a game correctly.
Well here is the issue to why the game won't work, and NO ONE here can help you. Thats the problem right there. Minimum: OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required) Processor: Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent Hard Drive: 30 GB available space Thats the bare min what you need.... NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M is way old compared to the 550 TI card. Upgrade your video card ALSO Processor: Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 You have a dual core. You need a quad core. So you also have to update your CPU. Lesson to learn...and to all the others as well that are going on about the game not working. Make sure you are able read the required specs to play the game BEFORE you download the game and waste all that bandwidth. In short sorry man but you wont be able to play the game until you upgrade your computer. Also if you do upgrade the two parts, you are also gonna need a better power supply as well to be able to run the card most likely so that's another thing your might have to upgrade as well.
Well chances are its because of your hardware. Check your rig with the min requirements. If you don't know if they are up to par or not just post your computer specs...

sites like that arent always right. it says i cant run it on minimum settings. but im playing on minimum settings at a stable 47fps but it drops to 3 when i fire the mini nuke gun (forgot its name XD)

Base building and micro managment customization of armor and weapons. awesome character customisation Cons: Very poor graphic optimization. Bugs, quest related and quest breaking bugs Horrible main-story, and mostly bad side quests mainstream companions. (Except Dogmeat and Nick Valentine)
1 .search the dll file you are missing @ dll-files com 2 .at the bottom of the page click the blue download button 3 .unzip and drag .dll file into game directory(most of the time where the executable is) 4 .run game and repeat if it is missing more hope this helps

How do i solve the lock picking bug for a monitor aspect ratio of 4:3 and resolution of 1024x768. The bug is that you can't see the lock picking process at all. all you have is that water blur effect screen. Please help.
@Raffoly if you baught the game why are you downloading it here? BUT since you have :) Go to the save games folder of your purchased game and copy it to the save game folder of the downloaded game (I believe its in the documents/games folder or just documents) it may even just use the save game you had before anyway :) I'm not sure that last part but that is how you would do it. Also check Nexus for mods for this game theres always something to help with that :)
i found out how its not working so you download the update inside the update is the crack folder copy everything in there not the folder but the contents inside it and paste it into wherever you installed fallout 4 and start it again from the shortcut or launcher
Run the game as admin or do a clean install of it should fix it :) if not theres mods now out there that can fix many MANY of the issues including yours :) try there too
well,you probably have 4gb ram,increase the ram to 8 or 12,ram are very cheap.i'm sure it will solve your lag problem.i'm also going to do the same thing
if there is empty slot in your laptop then you can add extra ram in it ,just make sure what is maximum amount of ram is supported in your laptop.i have two ram slot ,1st is equipped with 4gb ram and 2nd is empty and maximum ram supported is 16 gb .what i am going to do is- place a 8 gb ram stick to 2nd slot.there is a free software CPU-Z ,install it .it will tell you if there is empty slot or not and the other usefull information and if you want to know something more then comment
yes u actually can, there are usually 2 slots, mine has one with 2 gb and the other with 4 gb (6 gb total) , so if u replace ur ram(or add one if u have extra slot) with 4gb or 8gb ram, it is possible. BUT.. laptop ram is more expensive than desktop ram, so if ur graphics card and cpu as a whole is old(low specs), upgrading ram wont really work. thats all i'll say.
laptops typicaly can NOT run fallout 4 because they have not caught up to the pcs specs yet. BUT let me ask you this how new is your laptop? :) I can tell you why from there also what graphic card does it use.

I have a problem, yesterday i saved my game, now it seems to be corrupt. Because everytime i open the specific file, the game crashes, but whenever i try to play a new game, it works perfectly. How do i get my old files back though? I had 2 X-01 armors and finished the game :(

Does it open the fallout launcher first? Did you crack it with the files in the codex folder? Did your antivirus confiscate any files when you tried to start it? Normally, it will grab the cracked steam.api file. If you could provide me with information about this, I could provide much better assistance.
yeah it opens the fallout 4 launcher first,i click play and the fallout 4 launcher closes and then the cursor shows the loading sign but it doesnt open the game,i updated my drivers as well
I've had the same problem with a different game; never found the issue. It could be hardware incompatibilities, program interference, other random crap. Did you install the update and not crack it again, perhaps? If you want to go really hardcore if you have done that, you could try a clean boot (Google it if you don't know what it is) and then start up Fallout 4. If it starts and works fine, re-enable groups of programs at a time and keep starting up Fallout 'till it no longer runs. Once it starts doing the thing that you mentioned, the interfering program will be one of the ones that you started up.
i did the clean boot and it still does the same thing,please help i had to wait for thirteen parts to download and it doesnt work please make the wait worth it
I am no professional. My advice right now would be to go back onto IGG and find the support area and report your problem there. Don't delete or reinstall the game or anything other than that, there's most likely a fix that I don't know of yet. One last thing: Does your computer fit the minimum requirements?
update:i opened the setup(codex) from the mounted disc this time and when i clicked play the game started but when the please standby thing came up it sent me back to the desktop and disappeared
This is a bit overkill, but fine. It's not displaying an error code, aye? Try right clicking on the start menu icon in the icon bar and open up "Event Viewer". You can do this in Windows 8 versions and Windows 10. Once you've found that, look for a drop-down sub catagory labeled "Application". I can't remember what the main category is currently. Upon reaching this, look for any critical errors within the recent time frame that you started Fallout. If you could give me the details or a screenshot of what is in there once you click on a specific error, I can most likely guide you to a potential fix.
Drag and drop the crack to the actual game files; where you installed the game. That's just where the the files to install the game are, not the actual game itself. When you installed, it should've given you an install directory. Follow that and you should find your files. Drag and drop the codex files into there.

Do you have at least minimum hardware requirements? Check that you have all drivers updated and software (Like DirectX) and make sure that you have downloaded the crack into the game directory.
wow you are going ham on the comment section lol. But some computers have issues with fullscreen so if the game wont launch go into your documents/mygames/fallout 4. open falloutprefs.ini with notepad or something similar. edit these 4 lines https://gyazo.com/2c08bf948bc8ae51d0f9d49111c15996 and make sure borderless is set to 1 and fullscreen is set to 0 as for the height and width that depends on your monitor/pc.

When I upack the 13 parts, it says "Failed to check CRC", I even tried to mount the .iso anyway, but at 1/4 of the installation it crashes and reports "Failed to check CRC". If it can be helpful, I download the http://Mega.co parts

To all of you who might have unexplained crashin/closing up upon starting the game try update your graphic drivers. it worked for me. One more thing. Fallout4 dosen't support 5:4 aspect ratio and some others . But, the there is a mod that fix that. To the some level at least. When I installed the X3D... file from another site the game runs, but with NO SOUND I was downloading and making this work for like 3 and half hours and it dont works properly...

I have no sound. When i install the game i have to add in the X3DAudio1_7 and the xinput1_3 dll file to get it to run. i hear the beginning sound and the intro movie but i dont hear any actual gameplay sounds... Can anyone help me?
If you Google the .dll files, then add "download" onto the end, you should get a link on Google to download them. Once downloaded, put them into the main dir of the game, or you can Google where to put them and fix it for the whole computer.

You can't save it because it is in Read Only mode. Right click the file you are trying to edit and go to Properties. Uncheck the box that says Read Only and click Apply and Ok. Then you may edit the file, but when you are done you must put it back into Read Only or else the settings will not stay how you changed them.
To anyone facing "Fallout 4 has stopped working" crash right at start just install older nvidia driver...my 358 [latest version] didnt work, after installing driver version 347 it works now and in fullscreen without problems!!!

Idk whats happening. I install spanish leanguage pack and open the game from http://Fllout4launcher.com. I have menu text, cinematics, items and all in spanish but not the voices of characters ingame. Someone knows why?
After the installation, i just copied the content of the CODEX folder (the one from the mounted ISO) and pasted it in my fallout 4 folder installation (where exe file of F4 is).... That's what i did but maybe you already did.. if it's the case i don't know why it doesn't work.. sorry!

It looks like you stacked the game with the RAR files. How did it work? What! You can put the RAR files in a "Downloads" folder just in case something happens.
donno why you're posting this when it's actually a simple problem...if you're experienced or familiar at downloading pirated games, this isnt a problem at all... are you new to the computer?
It means to not create registry entries on your PC where you uninstall stuff in add/remove programs under control panel. I mean, you can just Shift+Delete the folder that way right? However, some folders are created on your PC when you launch the game like your save files under Documents/My Games/Fallout 4 and you won't know where they are if you want to fully uninstall the whole game. So basically just install the game on the PC you're planning the play the game on and let the game create the uninstaller. There's a bunch of other technical stuff I could explain, but I don't feel like typing it out.
This is the crack. If you don't want to manually move the files yourself, then check this option. This is essential to being able to play Fallout 4.
Did you shoot one of the Defense turrets or guards around Diamond City? If so, they will become hostile, but I loaded from a different save from before to fix that.

There is a certain mission within the game that makes the game crash, if you're at this mission, then I suggest you get a patch for it. A patch can be found if you go to Nexus and then onto the Fallout 4 section.
the game works perfectly without the update, but when i install the update and move the codex crack into the install directory and try running the game it no longer works, know any reason why? when trying to start with the update installed it just gives me a black screen then brings me to my desktop.
Did you install the update and crack manually? Or did you let the installer automatically install all the files? I personally just checked the "move codex folder", and let the installer do it automatically when installing the update; not sure for you, but it worked fine for me. Just make sure its the same Fallout directory folder as your game install, and it should work.
for the update i ran the setup and after it finished i manually moved the crack into the fallout 4 directory, after it finished i tried running fallout and the black screen popped up. and do they have the copy codex option for the update? i thought that was when you install the game.
There is indeed an option to transfer the codex folder during the update installer. Where it asks you for your directory, there is a little box that says "move codex folder"; select that, and it will do it automatically for you. From the sounds of it, you may have misplaced a file... Its ok though, I'd simply run the update again and allow it to install... only this time, select the little box and let it install by itself...See what happens... The worst comes to worst; you may need to reinstall the game completely...
Hold on; I forgot to mention that I actually got my update from another source... since both are Codex I thought they would be the same, but obviously not... I'll share with you the source, but I don't know if it will be looked upon as appropriate here. But w/e it's obviously different and therefore needs attention... No problem man, just let me know how it goes for you. If it doesn't work, I'd just recommend completely uninstalling, then reinstall and use the update I provided (letting it do everything automatically)... its the same process I did, and the game runs flawless with update.
Well, good luck to you... there is some seriously game breaking issues that were covered by the update which included loss of audio, graphical glitches, saves not being saved... pretty much a shit storm. Personally, I'd take the precaution of keeping your saves backed up to another source on your PC in case something gets messed up later on. Have you tried running it as administrator? #Correction... I noticed the game should automatically run as admin; so my question to you is; Have you made sure its running as Admin? Does it prompt you for admin approval after you start it?
Thank you so much IGG; seriously... The google links worked perfectly maxing my download speed to 7.8 mbps. I tried using the Mega links as usual, but the download speeds were excessively slow (below 1 mbps); which is probably caused by the increased traffic. I've installed, and updated to the 1.1.30 patch and the game seems to be playing perfectly without hiccups so far. Since its clipping season, its going to be a bit before I'm able to play completely and test for myself the areas mentioned by others as causing their games to crash and so forth. Its already well covered elsewhere, and I'm sure its been mentioned here, but for those who are unaware; there is currently no way to change certain settings within the in game "Video settings" menu. To alter these other options they must be changed via the games .ini files located within the Fallout folder that resides in the "documents folder" as well as within the location that the game had been installed. Some of the available options include and are probably not limited too...
FOV changes for first and third person. (this is a complete game changer)
Mouse acceleration (This as well makes all the difference IMO)

Correct, but by changing the FOV via the console, it supposedly only changes the Weapon FOV, and not the world FOV. In other words, it will look as if you are seeing more of your left forearm (if you are holding something double handed) and more of your weapon on screen, but you won't actually see more of the world from left to right as with normal FOV... This is where you must change the ini files... Increasing the console FOV to higher numbers will essentially make it look like your sticking your weapon out further and further away from the 1st person camera... I'm sure you already know this; I just wanted to make it completely clear in case others read our posts...

your resolution is not supported. currently the game does not support 640x480 and 800x600 resolutions. Those are the 2 that i currently know but i think there are more resolutions that cause that issue.
the minimum resolution that causes no issues is 1024x600 anything higher should be fine. also if you use a resolution where the aspect ratio does not match your monitor/tv it might cause issues with lockpicking (at least for my friend but not sure about you) if it doesnt work even when using a higher resolution in fullscreen or windowed then you just have to wait for a patch.

Select any ammunition type, and purchase merchant's entire supply of that type, Once you've purchased all the ammo of a certain type, sell back ONE of that ammo type you just bought. Don't finalize the deal, the however. After selling that one unit of ammo, then sell the full stack of ammo, again, without finalizing the deal. Somehow the game doesn't comprehend this and will let you keep the one unit you bought in your inventory, and you'll be able to sell it back infinitely, over and over.There are a few caveats to this glitch. First, you'll only be able to earn as many bottle caps as that specific merchant has on them at the time. If you want to earn more, you'll need to find another merchant. And there's the second, caveat: It sounds like this glitch is itself, well, glitchy, in that it doesn't work with every single merchant in the game. You'll need to test it out to discover who will and will not hand over their wallet full of caps.

I have a massive issue I need help with. Whenever I start up the game it gets through the little cartoons of SPECIAL and then the main menu screen but when I go to actually start a new game it crashes and in the bottom right of my screen it says: "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered, Display driver Intel HD Graphics driver for windows 8(R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered." I've updated all of my drivers, tried different methods of starting the game and whatnot but nothing works and it severely ticks me off. Please if ANYONE knows how to fix this I will worship you for life.

if you have unzipt all the files you get a iso with the set up end a volder called CODEX coppy the things in the map and paste then in the folder with the lounger and it should be good

to install the update::: right click the rar file and click extract here and it will make a folder with the same name as the rar file open the file and the open the folder named update then right click setup and run as admin thats it, also copy the contents of the crack file and paste them into your fallout 4 folder and replace the old crack files.(not sure you have to do this but i did anyways just to be safe)

If you have any software, e.g. antivirus, ad-block, it may help to turn those off while you're downloading, incase they're preventing you from doing so.
Yes, all the part. The game is 13gb, so it is easier to upload and download because if you fail with one part, you need do load only one part not the whole file.
Ok so I "patched" the game to 1.1.30.0, but basically the patch installer only changes the Fallout4.exe file from version 1.1.29.0 to 1.1.30.0. Ignore the patcher because you can just copy and paste the crack from the "CRACK" folder in the RAR file and it does the same thing. If you execute the Fallout4.exe file from the patcher then it'll launch steam instead of launching the game just like how people in the comments didn't copy the CODEX crack from the 24.4 GB DVD ISO under the CODEX folder. I tried launching the game using the new 1.1.30.0 Fallout4.exe file, but the game wouldn't launch (using the strategy that I posted 3 days ago) after repeatedly opening the game over and over 11~14 times. So I'm just going to use the old 1.1.29.0 cracked Fallout4.exe since I know that version works for my PC. I'm sure there's something in my PC that's causing the issue for me, but for now I'll just wait until the next patch comes out and I'll test that version too. Besides, the current patch just fixes some audio issue or something and that's not a problem for me anyway. TL;DR - Patch 1.1.30.0 crack might not launch Fallout 4 for everyone.
The 1st time I launched the game it worked, but then after that I started having the crash issue too. Here's a weird way to get the game to work. After the game crashes launch the game multiple times and EVENTUALLY the game will start. This takes about 2-6 tries, but it works for me at least. I don't think its the settings though since the game detected that my PC could run on Ultra. I did have to lower the settings later in the game though since the game has to render more objects in the world as opposed to just inside a building. Just to be safe though start the game at low settings. Also patch 1.1.30 got uploaded on the Fallout 4 page on IGG. Installing that might solve the game launch crash issue. I'll leave another reply about the results.
same problem with the launch of the game, and this is cause of the fullscreen but found a way to start it every time now.. first go to the launcher, put the option you want and quit, after go where the game is installed and launch fallout4.exe(NOT fallout4launcher.exe) as admin

For those who is lazy or just have problem cracking the game check the box "copy contents of CODEX directory to installdir" at the installer and it will crack the game for you. :)
Not the entire Codex folder - the content. You need replace the steam files with the cracked version in order for it to function, this includes the launcher itself. Does that clarify the issue?

Download necessary files listed on the above page (My particular install was done using KumpulBagi)
Extract files by accessing the first .rar file after they have all been downloaded.
After it's extracted you can follow one of several routes and use numerous software to do so.
After the game is extracted you should be able to see a "Codex" folder that contains the crack, as well as the installer. Use the Codex installer and install the game.
After the game is installed right click on the shortcut that appears on screen and click on "Open File Location" it should take you to the install directory where all game files are currently stored.
Use the files stored in the "Codex" folder and move them all into the location the game is currently stored (The Install Directory). Accept the replacement of the prior files for the cracked version. (Run as Administrator)
Have Fun! :D Note: The method above is tested on a Windows PC, this method may not be viable for MAC or Linux Users. It is not guaranteed, issues that might arise after installation might be either the game download itself or your system specs not meeting necessary requirements. It is barebones in that it does not use other software for installation besides Win Rar Archiver. Its not specs, its a bug in Windows 10 and for some XAUDIO users... There is a patch update that I wish IGG-games could issue as a single download patch...
For those of you having issues saving or running in full screen, run as Administrator. Also, I'd wait a couple weeks before downloading this or even playing it, as there have been some game-breaking bugs reported already.

I extracted all parts using WinRAR. Right click to "Extract Here" to extract all the parts. Open the folder and extract it. Go to the setup.exe to install the game. Put the CODEX from the folder before and paste it in "Fallout 4" thats in the install directory. Don't use the desktop shortcut from the installation. Run admin on "Fallout4Launcher.exe". In the folder where you have the setup file for Fallout 4, there should be a folder called "CODEX". Open that folder and copy its content to your game directory.

the only problem i get with fullscreen, is when I want to start the game, sometime it doesn't.. so i must play in window or try 15 times to open it in fullscreen
Make sure to check the box that says "Copy contents if CODEX directory to installdir". if you didn't check it and you already installed it I'm pretty sure you can just drag the contents of the folder to the game folder and it will work. :D

If no, find a folder named Crack and open it. Then, copy everything inside it into the folder for the game and replace everything it prompts you to.
So if you have an idea to repair that i will take it ....
Secondly, if you have any AV installed, disable for a short time your firewall and the AV such as the DeepGuard from FSecure (which causes this error)
Thirdly and lastly, add the Application-Steam-x64.exe or Application-Steam-x32.exe to f-secures scan exclusion list. That should do it.

install something pf a overclock software like the "MSI Afterburner" and set the core clock to "-20"(previously, my game crash every 5 minute. now, it crash every 4 hours).

I have also noticed that in the main menu settings the audio option is loading continuously.
I am no expert but I'm pretty sure the audio does not work. I don't know how best to go about fixing this though, as re downloading the game would take my computer hours.

Firstly, I don't find any update.exe in the folder update.

the addons section now says installed for all BUT nuka world and it says comming soon now instead of installed, and its reading as v1.6.9 so thats good.. and it loads and everything so.. thankyou.. anything else anyone ccan think of that i may have missed in my troubleshooting and double checking ?

just go from top to bottom. if you just update to the latest one, you might not be able to play the DLC like far harbor and contraptions workshop.

It should work, abiet slow, as external drives are usually not too great for speed.
Fallout 4 can run with 6 gigs of ram.
Beyond that; I can't get the game to work from the main screen. When I select "new" I get a loading bar and the game closes after a couple minutes.
Anyway, I'm around for the next few hours and I'm down to figure all this out

I also believe that the .iso file may be corrupted in the original upload, because every time I try to get it up and running, it says that the.iso file is broken, and I have tried redownloading it several times. No, I do not have my anti-virus on.
I am utilizing the Mega downloads website torrents. Parts 10, 11, and 13 are especially being troublesome, as they are constantly giving me the errors that state that the .iso file is broken.
I am utilizing 7zip. I have checked the FAQ board too, and it doesnt show any kind of repair option to be able to fix either my archives or files. Please help? I can give PC specifics if need be.

My suggestion to you is to mount the disk, go inside the disk, select everything inside the CODEX folder and drag it into the directory of where ever you installed the game. and have it REPLACE everything. Then run the game.
Get into the habit of running the install and NOT telling it to auto apply the crack and do it your self.
When you installed the game it showed whats in the pic. In the rainbow letters it says COPY CONTENTS OF CODEX DIRECTORY TO INSTALLERDIR. Never put a check mark in there. You want to install the crack MANUALLY you want to learn doing it manually because not every crack is the same and will simply place the crack in the folder for you. This way you LEARN how to crack a game correctly.
Thats the problem right there.

You have a dual core. You need a quad core. So you also have to update your CPU.
Lesson to learn...and to all the others as well that are going on about the game not working.
Make sure you are able read the required specs to play the game BEFORE you download the game and waste all that bandwidth.
In short sorry man but you wont be able to play the game until you upgrade your computer. Also if you do upgrade the two parts, you are also gonna need a better power supply as well to be able to run the card most likely so that's another thing your might have to upgrade as well.

it's a beta update patch, normally found on Steam.
From the sounds of it, you may have misplaced a file... Its ok though, I'd simply run the update again and allow it to install... only this time, select the little box and let it install by itself...See what happens... The worst comes to worst; you may need to reinstall the game completely...

The google links worked perfectly maxing my download speed to 7.8 mbps. I tried using the Mega links as usual, but the download speeds were excessively slow (below 1 mbps); which is probably caused by the increased traffic.
I've installed, and updated to the 1.1.30 patch and the game seems to be
playing perfectly without hiccups so far. Since its clipping season, its going to be a bit before I'm able to play completely and test for myself the areas mentioned by others as causing their games to crash and so forth.
Its already well covered elsewhere, and I'm sure its been mentioned here, but for those who are unaware; there is currently no way to change certain settings within the in game "Video settings" menu. To alter these other options they must be changed via the games .ini files located within the Fallout folder that resides in the "documents folder" as well as within the location that the game had been installed.
Some of the available options include and are probably not limited too...

Ps; A lot of people are discussing their setups to know a bit more about what systems are running the game properly and whether it is due to the game or their computer when a crash occurs. I can say personally, that for as much as I have played so far, I have yet to experience any issues. Of course, my system is the base standard for what is excepted as being proper/recommended to run this title.

The game runs on max settings with a given 60FPS in 1080p. I set the first person and third person FOV to 100 from 80, and by changing the weapon FOV via the console I set it to 90 from 80.

quite simple, open Fallout4Prefs.ini(mine is called Fallout4_Default) in your documents
(C:\Users[name]\Documents\My Games\Fallout4) and under [Display]
change:
iSize W=XXXX
iSize H=YYYY
to
iSize W=XXXX-1
iSize H=YYYY-1
For example:

would be changed to

Select any ammunition type, and purchase merchant's entire supply of
that type, Once you've purchased all the ammo of a certain type, sell back
ONE of that ammo type you just bought. Don't finalize the deal, the

of ammo, again, without finalizing the deal. Somehow the game doesn't
comprehend this and will let you keep the one unit you bought in your

specific merchant has on them at the time. If you want to earn more,
you'll need to find another merchant. And there's the second, caveat: It

to discover who will and will not hand over their wallet full of caps.
The rar file should be in your download folder
Download the update.
open your download folder,right click the rar file and click extract here
Open the file named IGG-FallIVUpdate.v1.1.30
open the update folder
Right click on setup and run as admin.
click install on the box that opens. now its updated.
Also re crack with the files provided with the update folder.

I tried launching the game using the new 1.1.30.0 Fallout4.exe file, but the game wouldn't launch (using the strategy that I posted 3 days ago) after repeatedly opening the game over and over 11~14 times. So I'm just going to use the old 1.1.29.0 cracked Fallout4.exe since I know that version works for my PC. I'm sure there's something in my PC that's causing the issue for me, but for now I'll just wait until the next patch comes out and I'll test that version too. Besides, the current patch just fixes some audio issue or something and that's not a problem for me anyway.
TL;DR - Patch 1.1.30.0 crack might not launch Fallout 4 for everyone.
I don't think its the settings though since the game detected that my PC could run on Ultra. I did have to lower the settings later in the game though since the game has to render more objects in the world as opposed to just inside a building. Just to be safe though start the game at low settings. Also patch 1.1.30 got uploaded on the Fallout 4 page on IGG. Installing that might solve the game launch crash issue. I'll leave another reply about the results.

Okay I have already installed the game with no issues and want to aid the community in doing the same. The following is an installation guide:
Note: The method above is tested on a Windows PC, this method may not be viable for MAC or Linux Users. It is not guaranteed, issues that might arise after installation might be either the game download itself or your system specs not meeting necessary requirements. It is barebones in that it does not use other software for installation besides Win Rar Archiver. If it does not work for you I apologize, this is simply the method I followed for the installation and have shared it to give back to the community that provided me this game.
