My game was doing great till today, when I try to launch it it just crash just after 1 or 2 seconds of black screen, someone could help ? I was at 36+h of gameplay I dont want to start over
The OG PC version from 2002 is it's own thing with H scenes. In 2006 a japan only PS2 version came out that lacked H scenes but was mostly based on the 2002 PC game, but was also tailored for the PS2, not much later in 2009 a japan only PSP port came out. Fast forward to 2018 they remastered the PS2 game and brought it to PS VIta and PS4, english version of those 2 came out last year. This is that version, but with fixed english translation (different publisher for PC version compared to Playstation variants) and autosave. Anyhow this is based on that 2018 remaster, it's that japan never got that remaster on PC, also for people that wonder yes this version also lacks the H scenes like all the console versions (which I don't mind, the story is very solid without them)
There's quite a few small changes, mostly the additions they made in the masks duology. Equipment now exists, you can replay older maps and there's even quite a few additional maps added. BP effectively becomes unlimited due to being able to replay maps. You can rewind turns if you make a mistake. There's quite a bit more variety in skills, Eruruu for example has a whole host of buffs and debuffs at short range. Offhand those are the major gameplay changes I can remember at least, there might be more that I do not recall as it's been years since I played the original game.
For those who hesitate, give it a try. Yes the tactical gameplay is starting slowly because of the story, but play it until the end of the first arc when Benawi joins your team, you will understand better why. The game lacks of some 2D CG but i think it's to follow the original's game arts. Since the story is really well made and immersive it's okay. I usually don't like galg games but this one took my interest even if some names of characters/divinities/lands are a headache to remember because of their phonetics. It reminds me of playing my first Fire Emblem on GBA and it's pretty rare a game catch up my curiosity that far. For me it's a hidden gem to be played once in a lifetime.
all newer leaf game i.e utawarerumono and tear to tiara have its adult content removed. if you want the smeagol there is audio patch for the original utawarerumono that inject the audio from the remake into the original game. everything beside few line exclusive to original cough smeagol part cough is fully voiced
Only the japan only 2002 PC version had them. The PS2 port from 2006, PSP port from 2009, PS Vita and PS4 remasters from 2018 (2020 english) lack them, this is based on the 2018 remaster but with better translation than 2020 english versions (PC port has a different publisher) and autosave. I played the OG game, and this is one these rare cases where the game has a very solid story and the H scenes felt like filler.... not to mention how annoying it is to get the OG game running at all nowdays. Also for those wondering there is and porbably never be a patch, but if people want to play this for the H scenes, there are better picks because this game is mostly a solid story with some SRPG elements.
... Only the old original have the pronos ... This is Remake version which don't even have it at Console ... (and this only ported to PC, nothing more) don't even have pronos patch either ...
(I'll say it again, since the reupload(?) removed the previous comments) This is a port of the console version, so no H content to be found here. But honestly, is not that big a deal, the H content in the original is pretty bad, and almost all of it is shoehorned in the game for no reason. The lack of H doesn't really affect this game that much.
Ignore the other comment by doctorwings. It's wrong. There's 3 games in the series and this is a remake of the very first game so this should actually come first if you're trying to play through them chronologically. As for anime versus the game, they cover the same events (mostly, the anime abridges some stuff from what I remember) so watch whichever medium you prefer. Fair warning if you decide to go look for the original game instead, it does feature sex scenes.
Oh wow, i never imagined it would have sex scenes. Since it's the same story, I guess i'll play the game first. I remember playing World Destruction before watching the series, they kind of butchered the main character on the anime version.
yo just asking a question, I'm having a problem opening the game, just wanted to know if any of the moderation team know how to fix or what's causing the problem (games instantly closes when I open)
Sorry for the late answer I'm a bit busy these days, anyway I have not tried the game so I can't really tell, some people reported the same issue but others haven't so it makes me think the "issue" is on your machine, the crash could be due to the crack not having been applied which usually either makes the game close or open steam or an issue on the video requirements
well My machine is not potent at all (intel graphics video card unfortunatelly) but when the game does not run on my machine I always get a message saying that my machine does not support the game, that not happened in this case so I was thinking the error was in somewhere else
Aquaplus is the publisher
Leaf is the VN studio under Aquaplus
