I had to download a couple small files in a package (xlive.dll and xlive.ini) to get the game to run, to circumvent GFWL. It was a package meant for Bulletstorm, but someone said it would work for any game that used GFWL. It worked, so, just posting my solution for getting it running (the crack alone was not enough).
