nah man my pc isnt a potato the game actual crashed a lot because i downloaded it on igg so i actual bought the game normally and who would have thought; It doesnt crash
I had the same application error, but the game ran fine doing what I said. My last tip is: go to HotlineLauncher, choose the "original" game as well your PC resolution. See if your DirectX is up to date! That's all I can say.
Is there like some online tutorial on how to get the games from here to work, because each one i've tried it doesn't work properly and i need to find out if i'm missing a step
Redownload with google drive, that's what I used and it worked fine for me, if you have a save or whatever just transfer the file to the new exe's folder

this was after i installed OPENAL32.DLL and still didn't work, any suggestions?

and put it in hotline miami directory. (Replace the old OpenAL32 with this)
everything work but the music is broken .
I failed at one single enemy in I wanna be the boshy 6.500 times until i passed it so i dont fear this game.
