Played until random level 4, got interesting but for some reason I got a bug that after killing enemies with the arcana rod they still remained there. Not my tastes for a roguelike, passable at its best. Not sure if it's because it's a platformer feature but maybe there should be some levels that make you choose a harder door with better rewards or an easy one with cheap sht. I don't feel like playing it over and over because got this error and forced to quit the game. Found a cat and killed it, so it's random lol. Forgot to say it needs to include an option for text display to faster/instant. Also, Tallowmere ( the witch) don't have big tits, maybe she need some big tits like some secret of clearing the game many times, for the coomer audience
yeah, im getting that "enemies keep existing as husks after dying" bug too whenever i kill enemies with any other weapon then the default axe they just kinda keep being there and i've had to literally restart my game several times to try again
also, you can duplicate keys by going through one room with one in hand into the previous room, then going back to the other room and bam you now have a second key
Tallowmere 1 – cover was made from in-game pixel sprites due to a shoestring budget at the time. Tallowmere 2 – I decided to get some art commissioned. Would you prefer sprites up front? Promo illustrations are not a new thing...
I had to play the same game over and over (and over) hoping to unlock a different ending or something, and Arcade games was daily routine for us that we used to come and play after school. Now, I don't even complete a game to its end, unless in specific games that are story based, but the rest, no, and the new generation doesn't appreciate what they've, and I don't mean "Lots of Games" but I mean "Cracked Games" where games in the past had demos for 1hr that to play the game multiple times, I had to reinstall windows 15 times a day. I'm in my twenties, and I'm called a boomer...
Oh absolutly spoken out of my mind, right away from your mouth(fingers 😂 ).Exactly thought the same.but even when covers didnt match the expectations,it didn´t matter back in that days, isn´t it?I myself enjoy pixel-art alot(especially when it is art),not only by nostalgic reasons.🤗😍Hello Miss, well,Delphine, kinda tempted to type Ms.Lily😀.Hugs🤗and Kisses😘 for you, wish you some wonderful time with the coming xmas(if you celebrate).Barely, rarely see you(figure of speech🤦).Hope you doin allright🤗
Oh, of course, don't worry. I don't mean to make fun of old games, I still play them a lot, including some which look even older than Double Dragon 2. lol But recently, I played an incredible forgotten gem on PS1(and PC too) : Lomax. If you like art, as you say, then you will love this. he he The pixel art is really marvelous, and it's the same artist who worked on Flink on Megadrive, Henk Nieborg.(picture below) You can check more of his work here : https://www.henknieborg.nl/ And yeah, Merry Xmas in case I don't see you again before the holidays! (For you, I can be your Lily!😍😘)
It's tough. I could either call the game "done" and then keep adding updates... Or, go for this alpha / beta model, where the game still has more to be added, and I welcome feedback along the way to help shape the dungeons. Tallowmere 2 has been in development since 2017, so I don't know if the word "Early" quite fits properly, but it's an indication that changes will still be happening!
So legit that you're on a pirating site where people are stealing your game and you're asking kind and honest questions... Legit dev right here. Ill eventually buy your game. Thanks for being a cool dude
My future self thanks you. Piracy is nothing new. Issue a takedown notice and it just pops up somewhere else... 😅 People have different reasons for pirating – lack of money, or just don't want to pay for something... But with games, especially Early Access, there's upkeep, bug-fixes, new features... Is it worth downloading from some file-sharing platform, assuming things are virus-free, and keeping up with latest versions by trawling through manual lists... versus showing your support with a few dollars and getting all the latest features with ease using Steam or other commercial platforms? Everyone has different motives and priorities.
Yep, it's me. I'm here because, well, discussion! Not about to go all anti-piracy crazy, but since the game I've created is being discussed, thought I'd chime in and say hello.
You are right , but others gamers want to know if the game is finished or not , so this Blue mark was made for explain that matter for Them . For the game I wish You all the good luck in completed it . If any gamer is interesting in try it then They will feedback for You . Thanks for clear the matter of development , for this game , for Us . For Me I like it so much and really hope that You will finish it soon and then make some DLCs for it in the future . Hope that a lot of gamers will buy it for support You to do that .
I really like this game so much.

Most covers back then were masterpieces, but not exactly representative of the actual game...😂
