even with the old dll files the game still needs gog to function on my pc. no way around it. however, gog thinks i own the dlc and syncs my games to the cloud (CP2077)
Ok, for me it worked for about 15-20 minutes until i got a crash again, and when i try to start the game it crashes exactly at the beginning. Is anyone having the same problem after following the 3 steps? And before you tell me to go buy the game, i bought the game for the PS4 until CDPRed decided to screw people who had that version, so...screw them too!

is setup_cyberpunk_2077_redmod_build_4902785change_6408866_1(64bit)(67690).exe needed, first time i played the game i downloaded it from here but avoided installing redmod
his "fix" works. im now a few hours into dogtown dlc. owning the base game of course. i applied this fix yesterday but everytime i was "omw" to go to the mission start for dog town, someone kept having me do a mission that i hadn done prior in my other play throughs lol so i did those. either way, it worked. crashes here and there but not anything other than my oc being slightly unstable for CP2077 2.0update i do believe on the gpu side. as prior i never had crashes using the oc i have. never the less, it works. (p.s. those crashes were present before using their fix.)
If you use the dll's in my comment somewhere below, you can treat it like any other pirated or GOG game and there will be no need for these workarounds that require you to install a new application (launcher) to your PC. Soon I hope to see instead of that list of steps... just one step, "download these files and copy them to the correct folder replacing the files already there", like you would with any other normal crack. Please mods listen to @Craxton and all sailing the seas will have a less windy time. GL & Happy gaming all <3
Did you ever get an answer? Or did you try? I hopefully will have finished downloading all update parts upon my arrival home tonight. If I manage to get it working, I'll come back and say so. But, I'm pretty sure it's not possible.
FYI I'm only using the files provided here for base game & DLC this. dll fix works perfectly no crashes for me, but I have a diff PC of course, so I imagine they are fully game related as you mentioned.
ahhh i crash (alot still) but its due to my gpu oc as i think i stated already. just finished the DLC 40 min ago. may go back and take the other ending. either way if you go to where roosevelt is telling you. then this is what theyre referring too.

@rob Conner this guys "fix" 100% makes my "legit real" copy work with "cracked" phantom liberty update. using it now (thru GOG no backup offline installer, so.... PIN (or add this) comment to the pinned one (his ORIGINAL comment that is with the "link" that isnt directly a link but is a link if your "reading" it right.
Did you (or anyone else) manage to get this fixed? Every time I run it I get "Error modifying [...] \Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\CrashReporter\ [...]" for every file in that folder.
The base game itself works fine but I can't patch it or install the DLC because of that error. Followed all the listed steps too, even tried reinstalling, no clue what's wrong.
This is how the error disappeared. The order goes like this.
Install 'setup_cyberpunk_2077' in the steam path (...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077 )
Copy one more 'Cyberpunk 2077' folder installed to another folder.
Execute and patch files 'setup_cyberpunk_2077_redmod' and 'patch_cyberpunk_2077_2.0', respectively.
I get an error message when I try it. Don't be disappointed, delete the files in the folder '...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077', and paste the files copied from number 2 above.
Reboot the computer.
Run Cyberpunk 2077 as a test. (Important: Fail if you get an error here...)
If no error appears, install the file 'setup_cyberpunk_2077_-_ep1'.
Now the error will not appear. Enjoy Cyberpunk_2077!!!!
Since I don't know which VGA you are using, but you can search google "how to download and install latest VGA drivers"
Several people have reported this issue, and most were able to fix it after installing the latest version of VGA drivers. On the contrary, if it's still not possible for you, I guess we should wait for an update fix from the developer.
I mean I'm assuming you are talking about graphics drivers (I have an NVIDIA GPU), but my drivers are up to date since yesterday and I'm still crashing so I'm just incredibly confused

I have no idea at this point what will happen. We may get a whole new release because the version up here doesn't have a patch, OR, we may get the GOG version because of its availability. It's not my call. We'll have to wait and see. I presume we will get the version IGG can acquire. I have NOT seen any patches.

is the "update" for phantom liberty a gog version? also, say i "own" the base game (for whatever its worth) on GOG, can i use this "update" cracked version with the paid version? unlikely im sure, but its something i must ask before spending 30 bucks more and waiting dam near a day for the game to up date.
yes, im aware that you were going to upload the dlc only, however. my question is "i own the game thru GOG legit" can i download the cracked copy and "apply" it to my "none cracked legit" copy of the game? lol im unsure if this is possible, im leaning towards a big hard "no" but still something i must ask.

I installed the game first place. Then I download that registry file. I modify it with my game path in "startmenulink" error when I open first patch, to 1.61
So i open registry. I check that the path is mistaken, so I change it again from the registry. Close registry. PATCH 1 (to 1.61) same error.
Same to me, same mistake, I read the responses and I don't understand the solution... what do I have to do to install the first of the patches? download in the registry file and execute it, adding it to my registry? If I do it, this is what happens!
I made a mistake, so if you downloaded v2.0 a few days ago, you don't need to download the whole game again. You just need to download the DLC (and small update), as image below:
Sorry I won't continue uploading the GOG version, because GOG's "update only" is really too big in size. Specifically, GOG released an "update installer" ~3GB (https://www.gogdb.org/product/1423049311#changelog), but it is only a base game update, not DLC. And to use the DLC in the newer version, we must download DLC v2.01 (more than 30GB). I don't know if it's a bug, or maybe I installed it incorrectly,... but I checked on my PC, it is like that. After installing "update only v2.01 (3GB)" from GOG, the DLC does not work in-game. Found a solution on reddit from a user called quarrelau. I just needed to download two files and paste them in the right directories. It worked for me for now at least. The files are: /r6/cache/tweakdb_ep1.bin (43.4Mb) /archive/pc/ep1/ep1.addcont_keystone (16b)
it worked for my GOG version, to test if the patch worked I tried to see if the police are not bugged but they still are. But the exploit for the Drama Trauma arcade game was patched. So idk. Maybe I have to restart my playthrough for it to take affect.
thanks for the info sir, doesn't matter for the file to be replaced, but i haven't found any torrents that shared the all game files, only Installer(GOG) and Zip file this version(Steam). Recently i found the P2P version torrent steamrips shared the torrent all game files so it doesn't required to install or extracting again (it's the 2.0 with Phantom Liberty version by the way)

GOG version 2.1 (with the version before that as R6 folder) with a legit base copy of the game. i REFUSE to remove the game and use steam.
also, if your not on the gog version. DO LET ME KNOW! so i can remove this...or add the other folder (30 some gb that one is) so im able to "test" updating to the latest version as i have not played since gog force updated to 2.1 cp2077 pl.
im on the latest 2.01 version using the patch igg had posted for 2.0 with the legit gog version (paid base game) along with the 22gb R6 folder and archive folders from 2.0) thats how one gets it to work.

So first of all, in my first install i have the similiar problem with other people. But, i have an odd way to install this, and it's always work i dunno if this is work with the you guys. Here how it is :
Install it like usual.
After first install complete. DON'T CLOSE THE WINDOW.
Continue to update the others and wait a few minutes, AND MAKE SURE DON'T CLOSE THE WINDOW!
Continue to update with folder name "Cyberpunk_2077_Edgerunners_Update_v1.62_PathTracing-DINOByTES" install the patch first. Here in this folder, we see DLC on it. So install the patch first, then the DLC. This DLC is for modding.
Install the last. Make sure don't close the window.
WAIT UP! Some user from Nexus give this link for the Final update for GOG Version. The page in Russian. So use that Google translate.
Uff, the 800mb hotfix takes very long to update. Anyone else having this "problem"? Seems it modifies a lot of files and archives. Just curious if it's only me.
after you update 2.0.2 make sure you delete the Backup, Bonus Content and CommonRedist files. This helps save more space in your storage. hope this is helpful
Guys, if you experience crash to desktop when u start the game (at the logo screen) DO NOT start the shortcut the game provides you,
WHY? it points to REDprelauncher.exe which this one then starts the cyberpunk2077.exe but for some reason the game crashes, so i managed to bypass this crash by going inside the game folder and executing the cyberpunk2077.exe DIRECTLY!!
FIX for those who stuck at the update to 1.61 in the installer/ "Error modifying" fix:
STEP 1: If you forced the patcher to close via the taskmanager then you probably need to reinstall the game! BUT you can try to skip the reinstall and just start with STEP 3. If you waited 30 to 60 minutes and nothing is happening AND you still get an error log.txt file with the "Error modifying" message, then you have to reinstall the game.
STEP 2: Install the game as administrator (right click on the setup and then "Run as Admin". Dont launch the game after the installation.
STEP 3: Run the updater/ patcher as administrator (You dont have to put it into your game folder, RUN IT FROM YOUR DOWNLOAD LOCATION)
STEP 4: DONT DO ANYTHING NOW AND WAIT TILL ITS FINISHED. It will look like its crashed but its not crashed at all. You just have to wait 30 to 60 minutues and then it should finish the update and you will see a green text saying you that the update was successfully installed/ updated ^^

watch out for megaup first part link, after i closed all fake downlod links, i got an zip with an setup file, after i did a installer started after running the file. multiple ones started doing cmd commands and other stuff, after some seconds i realized what happend. it was a token grabber for discord. my discord was linked with my paypal they sended themself a discord nitro gift (10€) i am appealing a refund atm with the discord support watch out guys dont get scammed like me i defintly learned from that mistake

I have a working fix straight from GOG support:"The developers suggest that using the older .dlls might cause crashes with the game BUT seeing you have not experienced any then that is great (and lets hope it stays that way!)

Welll this update 2.0,its ok but of course they had to nerf/take out skills i liked 😥with the new skill-system,hihihi 😥😄🤗 But Cyberdeck itself + all the augments, implants whatever you call it,are cooler now because you can upgrade them(4-5 times),every one of them.So this makes the walk to Ripper-Docs more interesting/rewarding,combat hacking is now more interesting,you can learn to queue your hacks,i like it. This Update makes the game more accessible imho,even with loosing some of the skills....👍😎

Thanks IGG for this great Game which i finally can play. After long time of Hestitation,i added Win10 soon 11(damn it,lol) as 2.partition for dx12 feature. I think starting/playing this game(Version 1.5) so late, helped to enjoy this game,too.Damn and i enjoy it alot.😄😈😘 It has this oldschool Deus Ex 1/System Shock 2 vibe on much bigger scale(open world)+mixed with GTA Sci Fi,lol,it scratches this itch for this particular Genre(Sci-Fi 3D RPG)but without the Horror(System Shock). does the update have just a "copy" contents? or does it have an installer? i own this game so i wont be trying to test it for you. but in theory you could just download the version u want and copy the contents of the crack etc into the game folder...
disquise or whatever its called, has been removing ALOT of my comments lately like 70% of them. If i say "FUCK" or "SHIT" or "your teash" in the comment, its instantly removed. (mostly on movie sites) but still.
igg has a "history" from the pirate scene that gave them a bad rep. although, ive used IGG for 5 years now and havent had any issues with my pc, security, or none of that b.s. nor do my comments get removed. even mentioning a "competitive" site, it was indeed allowed to be commented. (although not wise as they dont allow it with links so keep that in mind)
either way, i still only use igg and FGRP for all my pirated games, and steam/gog for paid (epic for those "used to be" decent freebies, which have long since vanished.

There is no bad reputation from IGG at all, it's all just scams by the moderators of some subreddits, they are simply a group of people, running dozens of pirate game websites. And they deliberately spread false rumors to the biggest websites at that time (including IGG and multi other sites), to scare users, and use websites promoted by moderators there :D...
We have been uploading for over a decade, from ThePirate, KAT, ExtraTorrent,... 1337x, Torrentgalaxy,... all of them are big names in the pirate world. It would be surprising if igg, which has a bad reputation, cooperates long-term with these websites... Meanwhile, we all loathe those damn reddit subs, those places should be called "dramawatch" , instead of being a pirate game community, because as far as I can see, most of the users there don't even know how to install the game, and use cracks. I have stated many times in that sub, if they can list 10 games/links uploaded by IGG that contain viruses, out of the 150K+ releases I have uploaded, I am willing to pay them $10K, but all of them can't do it. Meanwhile, just quickly search that subreddit, there are more than 100 posts saying that IGG contains viruses :D
i know all to well about the "issues" with GOG and IGG and DDOS issues that were claimed. as i stated, what they state, vs what ive experienced are neither releated nor accurate. the source i obtained from is reddit and as reddit is reddit for a reason, its not a creditable source. never the less, i use IGG and FGRP quite literally the only two.
im 100% positive they cant find a virus (non false positive) as again, 5 years here. not sure if you can see how far i go back? my username changed from britches to craxton/kraxton. ive defended IGG in that subreddit thread time and time again. my PC (5800x 4070ti, 32gb, 4tb nvme space and more ssd storage) would be a target to "infect" for crypto miners if that were indeed the case. I 100000% believe whoever started that mess are one sided. in my opinion if any parts of the "he said/she said" mess is true, you dont poke the eye of a tiger, and expect it not to bite back.

But we soon realized that they deleted posts too quickly, those days they really worked very hard, seemingly 24/24, they deleted positive posts about IGG very quickly, leaving only negative posts/comments about IGG. And that's when we knew that it was their playground, the rules were theirs.

IGG has always been my go to site for years and only seldom I go to fg and dodi, when I download files that I see here and looks interesting, exceeds 40gb even though it's outdated. Would be great if IGG also implement compressing huge games.
sure af is. i mentioned IGG-GAMES the other day, insta deleted. but i copied it, and pasted it back removing -games from the title and then it stayed. several others had mentioned IGG as well (still mentioning) the drama they have no proof of. whilst naming sites IGG runs/are a big part of. Not a content creator at all. I watch alot of youtube, but i dont upload. uploaded one vid about horizon new dawn when it came out on PC and how to "enhance" the color with gsync overlay. 300 people within an 1hr came to that vid with me posting in one place. most were good comments, the rest were not. i personally just removed said video as i couldnt deal with "criticism" at that time. (now) would be a completely different story. (ex female relationship) had me second guessing myself at every step.
never the less, i dont 'buy' to be proper nor be right lol. i buy bc sometimes updates on cracks dont come, or mods dont work. or because said game was 50 bucks, and hits a major sale for 10. thats when i typically buy. (some i did pay full price) which i regret now since they set still and do jack in my steam library. starfield being one of those. 100hrs on crack copy, 20 on the legit. only my 2nd play through. the story just wasnt there. but the side story was rich..until it too wasnt.
Help i got an error after installing the patch 2.11. Everytime i tried to launch the game its says "Unsupported 16 bit Application: Redengineerrorreporter.exe cannot start due to incompatiblity with 64 bit version of windows.
Have you found the issue? Does anybody else gets the same message? I'm afraid of upgrading the game now, don't want to to have to redownload the whole thing to reinstall it if it breaks my current instal.
Game works. Unfortunately, I have only German text for the Dlc, but no German voice output, but only English language output. Have set everything to German when installing, but unfortunately without success. As soon as I set in the game itself in the voice output to German, and then start the DLC, I have only subtitles and no sound.

After updating, the game crashes. Found it was linked to Cyberpunk 2077/bin/x64/GameServicesGOG.dll - i deleted said file and game started up without crashing, but Phantom Liberty still shows as buyable option. The game isnt recognizing the DLC and im wondering if its because of a 32KB dll

As im actually curious, when downloading from "megaup" and keeping the adblocker off, does popup blockers mess with the ad revenue? as its not intruding enough to make the full screen "clickable" to pull you to an ad, or ad page. may not be the right place to ask. but it pertains to any game thats uploaded by igg on megaup host servers.

No disbelief, just as stated from now on this IGG steam version should have an "update only" download for it. Download, extract & play. It is just far easier than whatever the current GOG version method is available, FYI I have unlimited data bandwidth, I know not all have that luxury.

(21 gb takes an hour if latency doesnt fuck around and make me find out) but no, your wrong. keeping the r6 folder and archive folders are a good trick to have backedup. that way, keystone file (one of the main files to "make gog think you own PL" is always present somewhere that your able to access. 22gb was ALOT easier to download than 89? idk 90gb?
so, in short....im 100% against re downloading the entire thing thru the steam version as it TOO HAD THIS SAME ISSUE but someone figured it out real quick and placed it with the released crack. then came those figuring out what was there. anyhow, what i mentioned is the fix. im sure itll be mostly the same in the future. if not, id way rather spend the 30 bucks for the shit already being mostly downloaded than re downloading the entire game again which (takes almost a week and having to constantly disconnect my vpn and re connect since somethin lags out my ISP side)

You're more than welcome friend, i figured out what was going on fairly quickly, and seeing these pinned fixes made me SMH since mine IS the actual problem solved, now if this is a bug/oversight on CDPR's side then it will be patched, if not we will see a new version of the DLC (on these sites or maybe just the files i provided to download) with the fix i discorvered implemeted. I only created an account on here to share the fix :-). Happy gaming.

Hey, I have a question, when will the language pack for the DLC be released? Because I would like to play in Polish, but it's impossible because there is no Polish audio, only English.
I don't know how strict this site is about links, but bassically the reason it's Crashing at startup is due to some form of DRM in the gog version that uses galaxy to check for legit version. all you need to do, it use the old dll's instead and it will work just fine, if you just remove them you wont have accsess to the dlc. I'll post a second comment with the 2.0 dll files without the DRM check. The files in question are "Galaxy64.dll" & "GameServicesGOG" GL all and happy gaming.
Then apply this fix for the steam version and it will work, maybe your firewall is blocking it on steam, so it doesn't check it propperly, if you're a legit customer it should work if the game can ping there servers ar start up. If not use the files i provided and problem solved.
But i had my challenges at first,CRASHES,NO.WHAT?To me who is so thorough?🤓 (Graphic Updated,etc etc.).So tried to new install/update the whole shabang. I tried a whole 30 minutes or more,haha...annoyingly slowly resignated..... one thing left to do..... "compatibility-mode?"i whisperly asked myself.... It worked! And found the reason : my WIN 11 ,unbelieveable had to start the game in compatibility-mode windows 8 !!?!!AND works.

the system requirements on steam with the storage size only lists base game with no updates, for instance Ark survival evolved on the steam page only says 60 gb but if you install everything it come to way over 200 gb
phantom liberty is 30 hours of gameplay itself. so, its probably best to wait. then again, if its simply added as an update, its not going to matter. as your gonna need this and the phantom liberty update as well to make it work. personally wondering if i can use the phantom liberty dlc on my paid version of the game... but im sure that may not work as i hope. either way, waiting is always an option.

I thought crack is already installed, but anyways i fixed it.. it turned out there is a file with 0kb size which is wrong so i asked someone on discord to send it for me and i replaced it it all worked well

STEP 1: If you forced the patcher to close via the taskmanager then you probably need to reinstall the game! BUT you can try to skip the reinstall and just start with STEP 3. If you waited 30 to 60 minutes and nothing is happening AND you still get an error log.txt file with the "Error modifying" message, then you have to reinstall the game.
STEP 2: Install the game as administrator (right click on the setup and then "Run as Admin". Dont launch the game after the installation.
STEP 3: Run the updater/ patcher as administrator (You dont have to put it into your game folder, RUN IT FROM YOUR DOWNLOAD LOCATION)
STEP 4: DONT DO ANYTHING NOW AND WAIT TILL ITS FINISHED. It will look like its crashed but its not crashed at all. You just have to wait 30 to 60 minutues and then it should finish the update and you will see a green text saying you that the update was successfully installed/ updated ^^

I have run the exe of the update v1.5.2, I choose the root folder of the game and continue BUT it says: Finishing the installation.... (this can take several minutes). French Italian German Spanish - Spain Japanese Korean Polish Portuguese - Brazil Russian Simplified Chinese And is not too big, now a big part of games size are made up of the multilanguages in reality, suppose a single language is sized 4 - 5 GB for a recent and big game like Cyberpunk and multiply by the number of languages of the game ( generally 5 but is more in certain games ) .
Go to "Windows Security" => "Virus and Threat Protection Settings" => (Under it) Manage Settings => "Real-time Protection" and disable it! Do the installation and enable it again after.
Try this: Right click, click properties, go to security, and click edit, choose "Your pc's name here" click on allow full control then apply, restart your pc and run the setup.
I can't use mods that require RedMod, because it's not install. When I tried to use REDprelauncer (as normal or admin), it just start the game without mods that require RedMod (others mods seems to OK, some don't) I don't have any expirence modding, there are some mods I want to use mod that require RedMod, to make gameplay less annoying.
I've re-downloaded Cyberpunk 2.1 10x now because the the updates are corrupting my entire game and can't even start it. Getting this error:

You need to have enough free space on your drive when updating. Since the updater creates a copy of the game as a backup in case anything goes wrong during the update process, it effectively more than doubles the size of the game. If there isn't enough space on your drive, the game gets corrupted, along with the backup, which is somewhat ironic. So, just free up some space, and you'll get there. Also, after the update, double-check if the game runs okay. After that, you can delete the backup folder, and then you'll have the space that was taken away from you back.
I had 500gb+ of free space, i don't think that's the issue, but thanks. I noticed that every time I reinstalled Cyberpunk and ran the updater, it would always freeze in the beginning and would have to end task in task manager to one of the children .exe so it could continue. But at the end it would always rollback the update after verifying hash. Or if I unchecked backup and verify hash, it would complete but corrupt everything

Impossible/no. implausible due to GOG putting "DRM" in the game/sort of. so they swapped to STEAMs release version instead. thus why an entire redownload was needed. if the OP wishes to "try" cs. rin. ru thats their best bet to get a GOG version. but considering there are so many different releases thru GOG on there and people messing with shit. its hard to tell if theyll get what theyre after.

I tried modding the game by using vortex but when i use vortex it immediately breaks my game and i cant play it even if i disable the mods. There's a notification that pops up when i try to launch the game. Any idea how to fix it? Btw i downloaded the game using the torrent link
When I reinstall the game and launched (no mods), and then I exit the game. I went to folder r6-cache I copied all (create backup and put them different folder), because sometimes I use mods game will refuse to start or crash, even after delete mods.
When the game encountered an error, corrupt or missing scripts, I went to r6 and then to cache and I will delete all of them, after that I put new one from my backup (from before I use mods, from the original cache). After few problem with errors I decided not to use Vortex, I just manually use mods. I just remember which mod is located and if I update mods I make sure delete the old ones.
I don't know if your problem will be solved if you tried it.
i'm getting errors with the patching tool for v2.11, i did save logs but don't know where these are saved (not in the tool's folder for sure). if anyone is experiencing similar issues or knows where to find the logs please let me know.
when i extract it says that p10 and p11 is the same thing, and near the end it says im missing p18, after all of that i can open the game and when i do i select dificulty click pay and then it just dosent load... I got a 4070 64g i11 so specs aint the issue and drivers updated

well, the solution i've found is simple. Just download the latest nvidea drivers from and thats it. I tried everything prior to this and none worked. Just downloading the latest nvidea drivers worked like magic.

No, these are from Nexus - you can see the 'last updated' date right on the site.
But I figured it out: You need to install them in the Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod folder, as opposed to the mod folder that is on the base directory or in My Documents (for some people). Now mods work perfectly fine.

The language pack corrupts the game, at least in the Spanish language, I haven't checked the rest.
The problem is in the name of the file, which says "lang_es-es_voice.archive" when it should say "lang_es_voice.archive", just like the rest of the languages.
You have to replace both, the one in the content folder and the one in the ep1 folder.
If it has problems you can also touch the steamemu.api and change the language to the new one.
If it also causes problems, you can change the name to "lang_en_voice.archive" and replace the one in English.

El problema está en el nombre del archivo, que pone "lang_es-es_voice.archive" cuando debería poner "lang_es_voice.archive", igual que el resto de idiomas.
Hay que sustituir los dos, el de la carpeta content y el de la carpeta ep1.
Si da problemas también podeis tocar el steamemu.api y cambiar el idioma al nuevo.
Si tambien da problemas podeis cambiarle el nombre a "lang_en_voice.archive" y sustituir el que trae en ingles.

five days of playing with rtx3050 with 9100f budget setup I was very impressed by turning all the settings to Ultra/Dlss Quality/rtx off and the result is 60-80fps so far. I also saw that some visual graphics have been added to make them more beautiful. amazing

Guys, I need help, for some reason, my Phantom Liberty missions are just not working as should..
Basically I'm doing the Mr. Hands missions and they just dont work, it like they just dont trigger, I cant find Eron, I cant fight the robots, nothing from the missions from dogtwon are really working.
This update only work on "Cyberpunk.2077.v2.01.ALL.DLC" (if you downloaded it from this site). If that's true, then see if the following causes are present:
Make sure you have enough hard drive size. Usually updates will take up temporary space to "moidifile" your files, so it's best to have space equal to at least x2 the size of your game (I think 100GB in this case for sure).
Updates probably won't work if you're using an external hard drive, which sometimes happens with large games.
Are you installing the game in a long path, or does it include special characters (other than English)? Remember that Windows limits the number of characters in the path.
One note, make sure you have not edited the files of the previous version (for example some mod has caused changes to the files, like redmod,...).
=> If you still have the "Cyberpunk 2077 v2.01 (ALL DLC)" rar file in your PC, it's best to extract it again, and apply this update, your save files are preserved, don't worry.

I cant get the controls to work good. Just for walking. It keeps auto-running, and 2 second pause to respond... The Poles seem to have trouble with controller response. I have nothing but trouble trying to get Black the Fall to accept any controls also. They make beautiful games though. Good art.

I’m building my systems myself and I’m keen to configure them properly, thanks. E.g. games not starting does not happen here. The DLSS problem in CP 2077 is the only one issue I encountered in any game. I consider games from this site full game demos. Once CP is really cheap and completely patched, being the final version + all DLC, I will buy it. Until then, it’s saving up for even more top end hardware to take a bath in.
It was the same with v1.63. It has to be sth. else. For some a clean driver reinstall is not enough. Maybe I will try uninstalling with the tool "DDU".
if you own the gog version outright paid for, have iggs 2.0 pl "update patch" prior to the 2.01 release. save your R6 folder, and archive folders FROM 2.0!!! update using GOG then, PASTE those two folders BACK into the main directory! YW!

you need the R6 and archive folders too if your goal is using the paid gog version with cracked gog PL patch. i have both folders, but its 23 gb in size. so your SOL honestly. however, if you goto crack support on reddit and look thru cyberpunk PL crack issues etc your gonna find a dude who links it and thats where i got mine from. base64 decoder is what youll wanna use on google to get the link tho.
you dont if your on an IGG cracked copy afaik. you need to download the entire game again. or try GOGs update BUT KEEP YOUR R6 AND ARCHIVE FOLDERS FIRST! once your finished repaste those two folders into the games directory. assuming your running 2.0 with phantom liberty on GOG?

Im having an issue after downloading and unzipping the 16 parts, when i open "REDprelauncher" i get an error syaing, "Cyberpunk 2077 encountered an error caused by corrupted or missing archives and will now be forced to close". Im lost on the solution to this issue.
UPDATE: i found a way to check the crash report and see what files are causing the issue now im going to try to fish through the parts and find a good version of that file to replace it.
Pretty sure 1 of the winrars is corrupted. Maybe something happens during download, like lost connections in mid way can corrupt the file. Find which the corrupted files and download it again.
You need download again, bro. Dont have "update only" from v1.63 -> v2.01. Because since 2.0, the developer has almost completely remade the game, most of the files have changed greatly. "Update only" is roughly the same size as "entire game"
I got the GOG version myself and the patch on GOG for v2.01 was 6.7x GB in size. I have the DLC and the Main Game original and it only downloaded 6.7x GB in total.
man i just download those GOG version for 2 days (21 parts) and now out of nowhere theres a steam verison being uploaded that less size than GOG size im soo unlucky now i have to download steam version again and my wifi already on FUP after wasting those 100+GB for GOG
sorry, bro... :( . Regarding the smaller size, it's because the previously uploaded GOG version includes all audio languages. Steam only includes:

I have cyberpunk version 1.63 (torrent) and I just installed the torrent with the dlc / update, and my question is how the fuck do I install this shit because when I try to install the dlc it shows me that I don't have the game (even though I put it in the C:\yourfolder\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64 files) and I can't install the update because it doesn't find the files, how do I fix this?
Is this your first time using this website? You didn't even do it properly. Since v2.0, the developer has remade almost the entire game, which is why its size is large.
DLC only works with version 2.0. And you're using version 1.63... And if you're asking about "update only" so you can download and update from v1.63, that's also not the case. Because as I said above, most of v2.0's files have changed, so "update only" is roughly the same size as "redownloading the whole game".
Just to reiterate. this is what worked for me. downloaded all parts and dlc. set up the first exe in the cpunk folder. then the second exe which has redmod in the name. then go to the update folder and setup exe. no patches. every patch gave me an error. no matter the order. then got to modding because the game is still not full.

Bassically this phantom liberty DLC has an online DRM check get, might be a bug but it's there nonetheless. So you need to use the old 2.0 cp2077 dll's not PL DLC's dll's. Get the old galaxy64 & gameservicesGOG dll's and overright them to the new PL DLC game install. This will work on proton linux wihtout steam and funky work arounds to use gog galaxy also. Done easy. I have uploaded them but can't share here :-(.
This game so bad for someone with motion sickness i can play starfield for hours before get dizzy but this game makes me dizzy in short time maybe this game FP almost all the time the reason for it. And i'm wonder why people compare it with Starfield because this game surely not like starfield more like futuristic GTA 5?

But do you have access to the dlc? that just fixed the crash at start up my friend. you need to use my fix for the dlc and no crash. look around the comment section i've posted the files for us all.
the problem with that is also stops the dlc from being active, you nedd to use the previous 2.0 update dll's files and overight the new PL ones with it for it to work, i have provoded the dll's if you don't wanna go through the hasle of unistalled reinstalling, creating a backup of the dll's then installing dlc ect. just look for my comment above or bellow.

it depend if you install new or update if update the folder location must same with base folder. I use this method sometimes work sometimes not move your base folder to f and install there.

I have purchased version of Cyberpunk 2077 on GOG and have downloaded all the updates that purchased version got, downloaded only the DLC files from here and I can't make it for the DLC to be "recognized"/enabled in game. The game runs and i can play it, but only update 2.0, not the DLC part of it. I have tried multiple exe files, with and without GOG running in the background. New files are created (modification date changed) but it's like i'm missing something, any clue what it might be?

there is 2 folder, first game and update, in game there is 2 installer base game and redmod build. First i install base game, and then redmod build. After that i install update. When I running that game, it always crush, any idea?
GOG has one drawback, I must say it is quite stupid. That is, if you have previously installed the game at any path, GOG installer will remember it, and consider it permanently fixed... Future updates will automatically find that path.
For that reason, in case you moved the game folder after installation, the update will say it was not found.

I downloaded the torrent using uTorrent and opened the files but the game won't run. A black screen flashes on my computer then I get an error report saying "Cyberpunk 2077 has flatlined". I've tried running the .exe as administrator and downloaded it with anti-virus off. Anyone having this issue and what can I do to get it to work?
why its over 100gb but when i install it, its only around 56gb? the 1.63v is around 64gb and 2.0v is 56gb. did i install it wrong? the game is fine though when i run it.
In this case it means: complete overhaul of the skills,weapons interface etc. I would say it is more accessible,they reduced some skills but add new skills like carjacking via hack turning into bomb-car,too and you can reset every skill you learned without costs. Also crafting changed,and yeah they added graphic-option pathtracing.

I've been dying to play this but for some mysterious reason, my brain just started having weird motion issues with this games as well as the newer resident evil games and possibly Battlefield 2042. Does anyone else have these issue? Was it just a one off type deal and I can play this again without worrying about being bed ridden for hours for some mysterious crippling headache/motion sickness type thing?
Turn off anything to do with motion blurr and depth of field just as Crazy Minority suggests, also in games where it's option tel it to turn on a cursor or whatever in the middle of the screen so when you're watching the screen you focus in on that point instead of shit on the sides. There is literally an option for that in some games.
Also, there may be no fix. I don't know how old you are but I've found myself having issues like this as I get older, some games just make my stomach flip when they never did that before.
Now to complain, as I get older I've found I'm becoming allergic to a lot of random shit as well that I never had problems with before.

I guess you will have to download everything, your not the only one who download the previous 1.63 hotfix version, so if it easier to just post an update to patch our game to 2.0 they would have done that, but since they decided to upload the game already updated to 2.0 I guess that might have been easier to do for cracked version of the game, unlike if you have the official copy of the game that you can just update I guess
also on another note I really hope people are reading the instruction before they go deleting there pre-2.0 cp2077, the updates made in the game is pretty intensive and now requires SSD, would be a shame for people to install 2.0 only to find that their pc cant handle or run the game unlike its 1.63 version

You should download part 10 again, i think your internet or downloader client is not stable, so it's corrupt, because this game uploaded a long time ago, and many people downloaded/played (included me) without problems.
everytime i install the game it works perfectly, however when i try to add mods or anything of the sort it always tells me it crashed trying to verify the integrity of the game files. even when i remove all the mods it gives me the same error. if literally anyone could help me i would appreciate it more than youd think lol.
16.1 update just sits there i even looked at the drive i was installinmg to and the space moves down like its writing to the drive but then it starts removing it like its removing it for example i have 80 free gigs when starting the update a few minutes after i have 77 free gigs and a few minutes after that i have 79 free gigs
yes they are. Use "ublock" from origin, in chrome, and you won't see the links easily and no adware prompts at all. Maybe some links are broken, but others are ok. If you go to the "torrent" section (in the upper side) you shall download 1link as a torrent, but take care of choose the GAME one (more than 100 gb) not the patches.

STEP 1: If you forced the patcher to close via the taskmanager then you probably need to reinstall the game! BUT you can try to skip the reinstall and just start with STEP 3. If you waited 30 to 60 minutes and nothing is happening AND you still get an error log.txt file with the "Error modifying" message, then you have to reinstall the game.
STEP 2: Install the game as administrator (right click on the setup and then "Run as Admin". Dont launch the game after the installation.
STEP 3: Run the updater/ patcher as administrator (You dont have to put it into your game folder, RUN IT FROM YOUR DOWNLOAD LOCATION)
STEP 4: DONT DO ANYTHING NOW AND WAIT TILL ITS FINISHED. It will look like its crashed but its not crashed at all. You just have to wait 30 to 60 minutues and then it should finish the update and you will see a green text saying you that the update was successfully installed/ updated ^^

For those getting the "Out of string range" error, the reason for this error is that ur windows drives TEMP folder is getting filled by the installation, u need to free up space from that drive.
(the installation is so big it takes up alot of temporary file space from TEMP folder.)
doesn't work for me. I installed and uninstalled it already twice. But every time after the setup is complete it just says that there are missing files. So it just doesn't start.
Always test the archive using winrar before extracting, it will save you alot of time if the file itself is corrupt and it also tells you which part is actually corrupted. If it does not contain any errors at all, then it could be the AV or a RAM issue when installing the game.
So i was installing the game and i picked D storage, after a while i came back to check and i saw it popped up the error screen saying that i dont have enough disk space of C storage, is there a problem with my file maybe?
just download everything into one folder and then select all together and click extract. and then there should be everything in one folder and you can play

Someone else has Problems with the hotfixes ? says on some parts that he has a "Sum Mismatch" but only with 7 of 10 lines.... and in the end the updater says "this version as made for CP 2077 1.5" But im running 1.5... redownloaded the updates, same problem. nvm ... u cant update when german language pack is installed. Sum Hash is invalid then. So download first. Install -> Update and THEN install language pack
You need to download part 1 to 12 and the 1.5 Hotfix for the game. If you want another language than english, than you need to download all parts from language pack.

If you're using an AMD graphics card then don't download this version. In patch 1.5 they broke the lighting on most Polaris AMD cards (RX 470 570 etc) so that now no lights give off any light. Some parts of this game are completely unplayable due to this bug as they are too dark. I suggest waiting for an update where this is fixed

that sounds like a you problem. not every country have strict download laws. your country obviously have. also you can download it through file sharing service. your ISP wont see those downloads.

WHY? it points to REDprelauncher.exe which this one then starts the cyberpunk2077.exe but for some reason the game crashes, so i managed to bypass this crash by going inside the game folder and executing the cyberpunk2077.exe DIRECTLY!!

We have been uploading for over a decade, from ThePirate, KAT, ExtraTorrent,... 1337x, Torrentgalaxy,... all of them are big names in the pirate world. It would be surprising if igg, which has a bad reputation, cooperates long-term with these websites... Meanwhile, we all loathe those damn reddit subs, those places should be called "dramawatch" , instead of being a pirate game community, because as far as I can see, most of the users there don't even know how to install the game, and use cracks. I have stated many times in that sub, if they can list 10 games/links uploaded by IGG that contain viruses, out of the 150K+ releases I have uploaded, I am willing to pay them $10K, but all of them can't do it. Meanwhile, just quickly search that subreddit, there are more than 100 posts saying that IGG contains viruses :D

i search in pcgamestorrents.com and only find 2.01 voice pack

so, in short....im 100% against re downloading the entire thing thru the steam version as it TOO HAD THIS SAME ISSUE but someone figured it out real quick and placed it with the released crack. then came those figuring out what was there. anyhow, what i mentioned is the fix. im sure itll be mostly the same in the future. if not, id way rather spend the 30 bucks for the shit already being mostly downloaded than re downloading the entire game again which (takes almost a week and having to constantly disconnect my vpn and re connect since somethin lags out my ISP side)

I went to folder r6-cache I copied all (create backup and put them different folder), because sometimes I use mods game will refuse to start or crash, even after delete mods.
When the game encountered an error, corrupt or missing scripts, I went to r6 and then to cache and I will delete all of them, after that I put new one from my backup (from before I use mods, from the original cache).
After few problem with errors I decided not to use Vortex, I just manually use mods. I just remember which mod is located and if I update mods I make sure delete the old ones.
I don't know if your problem will be solved if you tried it.

But I figured it out: You need to install them in the Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod folder, as opposed to the mod folder that is on the base directory or in My Documents (for some people). Now mods work perfectly fine.

Can someone please help? I keep getting this error everytime I try to extract. I have redownloaded part09 multiple times from different hosts.
The problem is in the name of the file, which says "lang_es-es_voice.archive" when it should say "lang_es_voice.archive", just like the rest of the languages.
You have to replace both, the one in the content folder and the one in the ep1 folder.
If it has problems you can also touch the steamemu.api and change the language to the new one.
If it also causes problems, you can change the name to "lang_en_voice.archive" and replace the one in English.

El paquete de idiomas corrompe el juego, al menos en el idioma español, no he comprobado el resto.
El problema está en el nombre del archivo, que pone "lang_es-es_voice.archive" cuando debería poner "lang_es_voice.archive", igual que el resto de idiomas.
Hay que sustituir los dos, el de la carpeta content y el de la carpeta ep1.
Si da problemas también podeis tocar el steamemu.api y cambiar el idioma al nuevo.
Si tambien da problemas podeis cambiarle el nombre a "lang_en_voice.archive" y sustituir el que trae en ingles.

- Make sure you have enough hard drive size. Usually updates will take up temporary space to "moidifile" your files, so it's best to have space equal to at least x2 the size of your game (I think 100GB in this case for sure).
- Updates probably won't work if you're using an external hard drive, which sometimes happens with large games.
- Are you installing the game in a long path, or does it include special characters (other than English)? Remember that Windows limits the number of characters in the path.
- One note, make sure you have not edited the files of the previous version (for example some mod has caused changes to the files, like redmod,...).

DLC only works with version 2.0. And you're using version 1.63... And if you're asking about "update only" so you can download and update from v1.63, that's also not the case. i download today like 3 versions of cyberpunk with DLC and DLC as stand alone .
the game say 2.0 and the DLC not detected by the game , from all the versions.
i just now finish download and install a fresh GOG version . update the game from the install folder , then download this DLC and took like 30 min to install it from the GOG installer . and still the game dont recognize the DLC .

This is not possible, because since v2.0 the developer has redone almost everything, most files have been majorly updated, so there is no "update only"
- Uninstall current game in your PC.
- You download 21 first parts, install it, you will have base game v2.0.
- Then, download 8 parts, install it, you will have DLC
And thank for your name, haha.For that reason, in case you moved the game folder after installation, the update will say it was not found.

I would say it is more accessible,they reduced some skills but add new skills like carjacking via hack turning into bomb-car,too and you can reset every skill you learned without costs.

Also, there may be no fix. I don't know how old you are but I've found myself having issues like this as I get older, some games just make my stomach flip when they never did that before.

also on another note I really hope people are reading the instruction before they go deleting there pre-2.0 cp2077, the updates made in the game is pretty intensive and now requires SSD, would be a shame for people to install 2.0 only to find that their pc cant handle or run the game unlike its 1.63 version

FIX for those who stuck at the update to 1.61 in the installer/ "Error modifying" fix:
STEP 1: If you forced the patcher to close via the taskmanager then you probably need to reinstall the game! BUT you can try to skip the reinstall and just start with STEP 3.
If you waited 30 to 60 minutes and nothing is happening AND you still get an error log.txt file with the "Error modifying" message, then you have to reinstall the game.
STEP 2: Install the game as administrator (right click on the setup and then "Run as Admin". Dont launch the game after the installation.
STEP 3: Run the updater/ patcher as administrator (You dont have to put it into your game folder, RUN IT FROM YOUR DOWNLOAD LOCATION)
STEP 4: DONT DO ANYTHING NOW AND WAIT TILL ITS FINISHED. It will look like its crashed but its not crashed at all. You just have to wait 30 to 60 minutues and then it should finish the update and you will see a green text saying you that the update was successfully installed/ updated ^^

but if anyone has the same problems. I've now deleted everything and reinstalled it. now it's working.
