huh, thank you for someone who change cracked game by SKYDROW into GOG. I never had launch application successful because it always nag me about "arc cannot launch". As an ordinary user I could not understand in the rare individuals who had to experience such stupid problem in the first place. Any suggestions to remedy impose a risk on my computer, what if in order to play this game I accidentally lost my bank account, credit card information because I set the security low

At last I finished. The game is quite fair with the exception of the level Wallis where the computer throws you everything at the minute 5. It is not impossible but this part was really hard (I saved every minute, so I re-run it over and over again).

It's not that difficult, even though that's the only one I didn't finish on my first try. First, rush collectors in the left and middle zones. Then build full mines. Afterwards, put a few lasers on the left wall and a few motars just behind hit, they're able to shoot above the wall. One laser is enough to defend the mines on the right. Use all your remaining resources to defend the middle at the 5th minute. Don't forget about snipers and AA weapons. After the 5th minute, you're basically done. Stock up lasers and go in.
ok.. can someone explain to me, what is great about this game? from what i understood from youtube, you just build things and kill a growing creep only?
That's pretty much it. You build your resource collection network to build defenses to push back the creep, but on the harder levels it can definitely feel like a battle. The stuff is relentless and depending on the level it can be very fun pushing it back, bit by bit. There's more complex stuff on both the enemy side and yours as you progress through the game, so while the ever-expanding blob is always present, it's definitely not the only thing you have to worry about.
tbh i don't like watching sports at all, cuz i think (plus as you said above) they are famous just because the know how to play with a ball? i mean other its overrated, and some people or goal around the world needs more attention btw, when i asked about the game, i really didn't understand what kind of game i'am expected to see, as i don't like to spoil games in youtube until i play it my self. :)
i understand, but its just a regular uninstaller to remove the game files, its flagged because its an unknown exe file so most AV programs find it suspicious.
That is the same file that was detected for me as well. I deleted it without issues. It's not a false positive, because those are normally the crack that gets triggered. I have no idea why the uninstall got begged, and I meant no disrespect. I use the site for years, and I am used to false flags. This one was different than your normal false detections and was only trying to advise the users so they could delete the file and enjoy demoing the game.
False positives don't have to be the same file every time. It's "usually" the crack files, but that doesn't make it completely impossible for it to be something else, just unusual.
i am experiencing in cannot launch Arc right now. i stuck in the install window for the time bring, what the heck happens, does anyone know how to fix this
As a proud pirate I gotta confess. I bought this game on day 1 as soon as I got from work. Several dozen hours in I am not disappointed. I highly suggest you try this game either official demo with few missions or here. If you like it by all means purchase it. Knuck is one of rare developers that still work on old principle. We need more like that -Post the game when its actually finished -Make a part accessible for ppl to see if they actually like it or not
How do you play Colonies (maps created by other players)? When I select a map, it is downloaded, but the map is deselected when I press the Play button and nothing happens. Most of the time! But at least twice the map properly loaded and I was able to finish them. So I guess it's not copy protection, or some Steam thing, but something else.
Very nice game though could do a better job of telling player wtf everything is, sure you learn everything fine just by doing stuff but somehow not being able to even select or get a tooltip for most things feels frustrating, it wouldn't necessarily even need to explain anything it doesn't already but just indicating that whatever you try selecting isn't just some very fancy decoration hanging around for no reason would be nice.
do you have a screenshot or something? I've played through the game and haven't encountered anything like what you said. you can click on the question mark box and it will explain what everything is, and the only decoration or something i can possibly think of is debris that is scattered around which prevents you from building on those spots
Help had nothing to say about these and as far as the game interface was concerned everything other than a bit of creeper in the first image is no different from dirt(also even for the things you can actually select you'd be lucky to get anything other than a name of sorts(some having camelCase names or such that are clearly mainly meant for the dev to use)).
i havent played in a while so im guessing first image looks like a anticreeper maker and ruins overlaping each other, the second image is mining spots and what i think is those things that make shields, the third im pretty sure multiplies creeper when it touches it but i think that one was a different color maybe this one is for anticreeper? i guess it is quite confusing, maybe the links were updated not long ago and in the update we got more info about everything
setup.exe file gives Error. Failed to launch Arc. What should I do? I downloaded from MegaUp and extracted the rar and iso file to same folder. I didn't delete anything from rar file or iso file after exctracting them. What can I do to install the game?
whoa, this game takes forever and finally it's here well, long story short, this is not for the short tempered ones and the ones who failed to struggle. this game is fierce at times and will test your tenacity. be prepared before you face this one also, worth buying if you are one of those who likes to git gud in strategy games
