Was going to buy until I saw it wouldn't have multiplayer, or guns like its big brother remnant from the ashes. gameplay looks kinda slow too so oh well. this will keep me occupied for a bit whilst i wait for cyberpunk.
Played a couple of hours of this the other day, its not bad. Its basicaly another Souls game, with crystals instead of bonfires, dragon hearts instead of estus flasks, etc. Its well worth playing if you like Souls games. Its a little clunky and movement is frustratingly slow, but worth a play.
Thanks for the input, I must say that only from observing gameplay, the combat did seem to be rather slow and not really fluid but I can't say if it's responsive.
I mean its pretty responsive, its just more the movement, you move really slow. You can press a button and run like in Souls, but even running seems quite slow, and it uses your stanima obviously. A couple of other little niggles as well like how you cant roll if you are locked onto an enemy, well whats the point of having a roll then?. You can roll if you arent locked on but i'm so used to locking onto an enemy and getting a couple of hits in, then rolling away, but in this game you just kind of dodge a little bit of you press roll while locked on. It also seemed a little easy. I played 2 hours and didnt die, but obviously it could get way harder later on. It has all the Souls elemants though, bonfires, estus, shortcuts to open, respawning enemies if you use the bonfire (crystals here), leveling up yourslef and your weapons, etc.

nice game. working well
I'll beat the game as a toddler and DSP reaches the ending as dust.
