Just a heads up - windows defender detected ransomware in the file (Wacatac). Not sure if this is something you're aware of so the file /might/ be unsafe
So I'm a complete noob in downloading games so yeah I guess I'm also to blame, but I encountered a virus downloading from the http://Mega.nz link over here. The file size on mega was normal at 1,12 gb i think, and I extracted the game with everything seeming pretty normal, but when I mounted the iso file with Daemon Tools Lite and executed it I got a hentai anime girl popping on my screen with a weid ass sound and Mcafee yelling at me to restart my pc bacause I got a virus. So yeah I restardted the pc, excluded all the downloaded files and went to run a full scan on my pc with Mcafee. Now that this happened, can someone please tell me if they had a similar experience over here?? And what can I do to ensue my pc is safe?
it was just a false positive from the crack files, the anime girl / sound is just the installer for the game, make sure mcafee did not remove any files and it should work fine

I finished the game in 4 hours and it was satisfactory. The artwork is good. The music is good. The story is awesome. No sexual content but the pointers above already make up for this awesome game. Comment section is just doing their usual homophobic remarks that has nothing to do with the game so just ignore them.
Room No. 9 has has very dark themes however, so go in prepared. I'd also like to recommend "No Thank You!!!" very good story, very good VA, and very good scenes. It has some dark themes as well but not as despairing as Room No. 9.
No Thank You has really sad endings tho ;-; I want couples getting together. If you guys know Japanese I recommend Nie no Machi! Also has dark themes depending on your choices but it's nice. Another good one with a supernatural twist on it is Hashihime of the Old Book Town.
Regarding the Room 9 VN, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is looking for some romance, since it IS really dark and heavy. It is psychological horror afterall. But if you're in for the pounding then, lmao, go wild dude.

Hence, I don't even know whether if this game is actually from Japan. In fact, I'm willing to bet it's actually from China which is kinda ironic considering it is quite an anti-gay country.

Uhh...I'd say the actual reason is not only the fact that there are more heterosexuals than homosexuals but also the fact that for hundreds of years throughout human history, anti-homosexuality religion have been predominantly popular and a part of society. Basically, human society across the world have been raised to view homosexuality as bad for hundreds of years until recently. I would be shocked to see no anti-gay sentiment considering such a long history. Heck, we still have the occasional racism pop up in the US and that history is not as lengthy compared to homophobia.
