Flat-Earthers are people that got dropped on their head to often as a baby. I wonder if it depended on the angle they hit the floor back then, if they turned into Flat-Earthers or "Essential Oils heal Cancer" retards and so on. But sure, they are the only ones knowing the "truth" and everyone else is just blind...
Or maybe its not scared, but annoyed that this "science" is being perpetrated as fact. I'll still play the game as I'm curious about how they destroy physics as we know it to make it work.
Just because you don't understand, doesn't mean other people won't. People say "follow the science" but science is constantly being disproven... for example, if Earth was in fact proven to be flat, and it disproved all existing data if it being spheroid... then you'd look like a fucking imbecile for saying "follow the science", now wouldn't you? i heard more then one and the most apsurd stories from flat earthers...some of them have theory that if earth is spinning there would not be water flow. or this one... if the earth spins helicopter couldnt go up... or this one... we live in giant dome. that says all about people who believes in flat earth.

While some of the information is generally correct they get some things wrong like the Moon being lit by the Sun. That's not part of FE theory but Heliocentric theory.

There is No Flat Earth science, we use Real science which is validation of hypothesis by repeated experimentation as the scientific method mandates. It's the Globe that butchers physics, it has people believing you can have gas pressure next to a vacuum where equalization fails to occur to fill the available area due to entropy - that's so impossible there is a Law about it called the 2nd law of thermodynamics. Such has never been recreated in any experiment so according to science if you teach such a theory as factually true, by definition you teach pseudoscience.

Everything you bring up can be countered by common sense and by people who've been dead, in some cases for over a thousand years. Ya know, I thought Flat Earthers were crazy too. I believed everything they taught me in school. Someone challenged me to find hard evidence for the claims of the Globe model and I found I could not. You won't have any clue what you don't know until you are honest with yourself and ask What if the Flat Earthers are right? You need to have repeatable experimentation to prove each claim or it isn't validated science. You cannot show me water that bends stuck to the outside of a spinning ball in a vacuum. you cannot show me gas next to a vacuum where equalization fails to occur due to entropy. You cannot show me the current theory of gravity a space time warping of matter and energy that has only been created in numbers on a page that bear no relation to reality. None of those things have been validated by the scientific method. They are by strict definition pseudoscience. If you could show me an experiment of any one of these things proving cause and effect, I'd stop being a Flat Earth researcher. No one has done it in 5 years because that evidence does not exist. Btw, there are Flat Earthers all around you. I know at least 10 of them that frequent this website. I'm sure you have spoken to them and not known it.

There are about five or six clickable links that have a pretty good voice actor explaining that NASA and SpaceX are part of a cabal that grew from cold war propaganda in order to keep up the lie that the earth was round. That's about it. Every 10 minutes or so you get a random "hint" to who the fuck knows what. I didn't stick around for all of them, and couldn't be assed to wait. I've never been a proponent of the flat earth theory, but while most dismiss it outright, myself included, I rarely see people appreciate the depth and imagination that went into the worldbuilding that founded it. As a concept, a flat earth would be an excellent sci-fi fantasy setting (Discworld, while pure fantasy and absurd by design, proves this), and this whole theory, while being entirely untrue, lays a hell of a groundwork for such a setting.
I do have to agree, in regards to world building, from the standpoint of someone writing, they've really gone the distance in trying to make a believable universe. Except they didn't properly finish the job.

If you go to any kind of height, even on a relatively tall building, the curvature of the Earth becomes self-evident. Or if you live near the ocean. Or take some photos from a high flying drone. But who cares, when you can instead believe in some allegorical book from centuries ago...

The answer is actually pretty easy, money. Lots of planes take multiple stops as to drop off different people at different places with the same plane, although there are planes that do go from South America directly to Australia.

If you believe those tall tales about a secret country in Antarctica and a supposed subterranean pathway beneath the planet it might explain why no commercial planes are allowed to fly over there other than military-approved aircraft, it certainly ain't because of some penguins that's for sure.
Did my own research, First, Polaris is not a constallation, is a star, second, well, it doesnt move because its aligned with the north.
