0:16 come on press Hard lol After 18 minutes of good visual novel characters and "story" we got into the gameplay, Not gonna comment on the graphics because it already needs polishing on many stuff like plants/mushrooms should move if you walk onto them and not perma blowing wind while your character hair isn't even moving. Combat should me based on the button combination = different attack combat, a fine example is trials of mana. I don't see any parry/dodge on this game, only a girl doing the same Link OOT slashing move. Running straight should be stamina demanded so after a couple of seconds you deplete your stamina and run slower of a "take a break" animation. It's early access but it feels the selling point is the art / story more than the actual gameplay
Yep, it's the VN elements that makes it appealing, the gameplay dept. neds some polishing, now for sure I'd expect this game to have some voice acting, even an "eek, hiyaaah, ahh" voice acting while attacking, for the enemies any midi sound fx would work, similar to the pokémon gb

steam rating is crazy as usual. this is a shining wannabe. but worse. too much unity asset store stuffs. all the UI, maps. the newest shining can be considered as a okay-ish ps2 game, but the camera, maps, control of this game will make you feel like ps era.
Well, seeing where Sega took the Shining series, the bar doesn't seem very high, with later games not even having anything in common with Shining in the Darkness, the Shining Force games for MD and SAT and Shining the Holy Ark. If this game is worse, it must be quite bad. The areas shown on the screenshots are already looking very bland. The first one even reminds me of WoW Elwynn Forest, only worse and this area in WoW is from 2004...
Awesome been keeping an eye on this one, gonna play this out for about an hour or so and then leave it on hold lile the hundredths of other games i've downloaded here. That's why i'm gonna overlook its early access this time.
Well, that's my interest gone. I don't like playing early access, because what you're playing might not be the end result.I've played a couple that started out well but ended up sucking when they went gold. The opposite is also true: it might suck now but get better later.
