How funny.
I get the exact same reaction when i see it is turn based.
Although of course, i wouldn't mind a game with the quality in all aspects as the ones of the golden era even if it was turn based.
Sadly, those are in the minority.

Which is weird given the case, because this game was easy as balls, simple in a bad way, and clunky af. (I could be wrong tho, i dropped it pretty quickly for those same reasons)

Sad people who think playing turn-based is hard. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

No one thinks that.
It is absurd.
It's contradictory even.
If anything, it's bothersome and boring at its worst. (Which applies to a lot of those fanservicey shallow excuses of a "game" they release now. Even action ones. But yeah, turn-based hard? No way in hell.
Just grind.)

Bothersome, tedious, amd grindy does not equal to hard

You ve said it, totally agree, turn based combat has become a plague. Baldur gate 3 is unplayeable. Luckly the same thing didnt happen to pillars of eternety or diablo. Now i'd best get out of here before turn-based-combat activist's start attacking this comment.

Baldur's Gate 3 is unplayable? What a crock of shite. Even if you hate turn-based combat, I don't know how you can arrive at the conclusion that it's "unplayable". And if you don't like turn based combat, why the hell did you even bother playing a Dungeons & Dragons game in the first place?
Baldur's Gate 3 has a few problems, but the viability of it's combat ain't one of them.

Apparently someone enjoys them since they're selling well and developers are making them. Just because your simple brain can't grasp games more complicated than Super Smash Bros, doesn't mean other people in the world lack the same intellect.

I grew up playing chess, also did some tournaments, maybe thats why my brain doesnt work with turn-base-combat. Characters holding guns/swords, etc, stading there still breathing and looking at each other for the next turn while the enemy has a bazooka pointed at their head, Its just an impossible reality in all the universe and beyond. And BTW (other people) - no its 90% of the people for real games 10% likes turn-based the only problem is you guys are like religious fanatics.

Turn based games are brainles. Every turn based game can be beaten by grinding.
(If there is a turn based rpg without levels where strategy is all you have sign me in and put me out of my ignorance please, i'd love to)

"every turn-based games can be beaten by grinding" yeah, good luck with tactics-type of turn-based where the thing that you actually need to keep watching is who gets the kill and xp and you don't get to grind any

If there is no possible grind then it's obvious it doesn't even count as a factor, so what are you? Captain obvious?

what? you must never know how RPG game random encounter works. the lower your level to the area boss/mob, the more mob you will encounter randomly so your level wouldn't be too far from the expected level. that's why when you bring a low level character to high level area by accompanied with high level character, that low level character will jump their level to real high, similar to the other characters. that's why RPG games DOESN'T really do grind.
or maybe you are still new to this?
also, you were saying and I quote

(If there is a turn based rpg without levels where strategy is all you have sign me in and put me out of my ignorance please, i'd love to)
then every single tactic RPG is your way, like the ones i told before but you just skipped my whole answer, don't you?
what? you don't know any? try tactics ogre, final fantasy tactics, shadowrun series (pc ones, not snes), etc. to begin

I did not say it was mandatory or the only way. I said you CAN beat any rpg grinding. Which is not hard, it's bothersome. Mention to me one hard rpg. One.
Also, most srpgs have a gimmick here and there which let you too. And that includes OP one man army (main or not) characters to whom you can give all the exp.
Out of those who don't, and i'll be honest, no idea on those three which i haven't played, well, awesome.

you need to learn about difference between every and some. I raise my argument based on what fact exist but you just ignore what i said and go blabbering stupid stuffs

Do your research.

FPS games are far more popular than turn-based games.
By your argument's logic, it sure seems like most other people sure do "lack the same intellect" then.
It's not some shit like "guhuhuhu, my brain too small for smart game" that makes people have a preference for 'fast games' instead of turn-based ones - it's just fucking preference.
On the contrary, people could easily make fun of you with stuff like: "Oh, so action games are too fast for your slow brain to comprehend? You need those few additional minutes to make a decision, huh? That's cute"

i mean you can just say you don't like turn based combat, i personally like turn based more than action based since I like being able to plan out my moves and action based doesn't really give that option more so than just picking up a couple potions and/or some sort of secondary action utility lol.

even the fast paced game like half life has a very high skill in planning, not just run and gun

This one is Cracked by CODEX, other one were probably Steam Files with Emu or Goldberg.
