I had my doubts about this site and the downloads, as any logical person should. When my antivirus was reacting to the application and setup, I thought it was a lost cause. But after I looked through the comments and looked at why my antivirus was blocking it in the first place, I gave it another real go, downloading Daemon's tools and shutting down my antivirus completely to install everything. Yes, there are pop up ads that may try and block you from reaching the real files. But this site is legit. They give you little guides to walk you through everything, and where I initially failed, I got it to run perfectly with the help of the comments below! You guys are doing God's work here, and I seriously applaud you for it. As for some side notes to help anyone else who's going through troubles: -If you're having problems saving, like Arthur already said, when in-game, hover your mouse in the top left, click Help, then Advanced Settings, and unclick the "store save data to steam cloud" part. -If your application just won't seem to open, it's likely your antivirus is preventing it from opening, or you didn't use the Darksiders setup correctly to install it. Antiviruses will recognize both the setup and actual game app as threats but DO NOT PANIC. They are not actually harmful malware even though they do seem kinda sketchy. -If your game crashes frequently while playing, even while using Run as Admin, turn off your antivirus/firewall. I personally use Webroot, and turning it completely off was the only way for me to play without any mid game crashes. If you're already at the point where the game will open, you don't need to worry about further risks of triggering your antivirus anyways. -If you're looking to install the R-18 patch (obviously) then you need to place the .xp3 file listed in the featured comment inside the folder where the main application to open the game is. I discovered none of this, and only with the help of the comments below was I able to make it all come together. Thank you all so much. Seems like there's ton of people that doesn't know how to install the patch. If you got the patch with executable (.exe) than use 7-zip or something to extract the file. What you're looking is the .xp3 file, put it in the main folder where the launcher is.
That's what i did with the patch, i pasted it in the main folder where the launcher is but whenever I open the executable file it says that the patch is not supported with the game
I don't know what to tell you, as that IS the way to patch the game, even officially. Maybe there's a version difference, I could give you a link to a 18+, non-steam version of the game if you still want it, but I don't know if this site allow it. Maybe I could email it to you.

It doesn't happen to me tho the only thing that happened to me was the save function wasn't working but it was fixed by a fellow nekopara fan here big thanks to that guy tho
You could try to open the icon with right click and go to properties and check the box run as administrator so every time it opens the game it will run it like admin. Happened to me to some games and worked, it's worth a try. Hope it helped.
it has no "save data" name in the files I've checked it in one of my other versions of nekopara but it has a file name like that but this v4 has no "save data" file

NEKO WORKs is aware of this, just look how they uploaded the 18+ DLC patch on other sites out of Steam. An imouto route is not worth the risk.
