Ehh... It's almost promising, but it's such an awful mess at the moment that I really cannot recommend it. The controls are pretty bad; the keybindings are retarded and completely unchangeable, the dash's momentum is fucky (and the dash itself is too fast, it's almost a blink), character speed doesn't feel consistent, and the randomized rooms really aren't fit for the pace this game tries to have. On the technical side it's also a bit of a shitshow: the frames per second change so much it pseudo-stutters (which makes movement even more of a pain), some enemies get stuck outside the level, voice lines cut out, overlap and are generally mixed very poorly (and besides the narrator/upgrade guy, the voice acting is atrocious), and half the game is bugged out; I purchased several abilities and simply didn't receive them, like the grenades for example, and the prices of stuff were really out of wack (300 for the first 5% upgrade, then 50 for the next +5%).
To top it off, the gameplay design is stupid and fights itself ferociously, and the core gameplay is very underwhelming and fails to click well at all. You've got a game that is clearly about moving around and managing weapon heat, but you're tossed into tiny rooms with awful layouts and damage hazards that can leave you with virtually no room to move at all. Chances are you'll take more damage from running through the arbitrary damage areas that the hazards create than from the braindead and uninspired enemies. It's also quite bad at communicating visually what the hell everything is, which compounds with the shitty damage hazards and awful, cramped layouts.
Other than that, the guns aren't particularly interesting (the bazooka's kinda fun, but the gameplay is too iffy to be able to fully enjoy it), the story is cookie cuter, the aesthetic isn't quite there, and while it's not super grindy, there's definitely too much metaprogression and purely numerical/percentile increases.

The Jingo is angry on you, and thinks that you should help developers to finish programming this game.
