I have not tested it out, but I recommended this game my friend, and as he installed it, and tried to play it, the game tries to run itself through steam, wich obviously wont work, as he does not own it on Steam. Thank you for your Quick Support. I figured it out. I just had to manually place the crack into the download directory. Seems like the setup does not place the crack automatically, even tho I checked it.
Virus. Malwarebytes detected it as Generic.Malware/Suspicious. "Generic.Malware/Suspicious is Malwarebytes’ detection name given to files which trigger our generic criteria for suspicious files. This means they show characteristics that lead to believe they are malware."
It detects the setup.exe. Really sketchy if you ask me. Never had any issues with other darksiders cracks, and never any false positives from malwarebytes.

I cant play the game. I pressed the play button on launcher then it opens up the game butonly with black screen and the only way to close it is restarting computer, I replaced the crack file twice and tried it still to no avail. any help?
Uh, redownload and reinstall the whole thing I guess, that's what I do when stuff like that happens to me, especially seeing as how the game is less than 1GB. Oh and check if your anti-virus is quarantining or outright removing any of your game files, I hate when that happens, treating my game's files like they got the rona 😒.
go to the iso file you should see a crack folder that includes steam.api stuff, copy all of that and and put it inside the game file. if it ask you replace them just click ok.
From personal experience, I advise you to use 7zip, there were times where I tried to open a .rar with winrar and it said that the file was corrupted, tried with 7zip and they opened.
